The purpose of the present paper is to show that the well‐known homotopy analysis method for solving ordinary and partial differential equations can be applied to solve linear and nonlinear integral equations of Volterra's type with high accuracy as well. Comparison of the present method with Adomian decomposition method (ADM), a well‐known method to solve integral equations, reveals that the ADM is only especial case of the present method. Furthermore, some illustrating examples such as linear, nonlinear and singular integral equations of Volterra's type are given to show high efficiency with reliable accuracy of the method. Inhibitory action of safflower (Carthamus tinctorius) extract (SE) was investigated in hydrochloric acid solution through electrochemical (polarization, EIS), and surface analysis (optical microscopy/atomic force microscopy (AFM)/scanning electron microscopy (SEM)/energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS)) techniques. In addition, Inhibition efficiency was predicted by neural network (NN) modeling in elevated temperatures and different acid concentrations. The thermodynamic adsorption parameters propose that this inhibitor retard both cathodic and anodic processes through physical adsorption and blocking the active corrosion sites. Surface analysis techniques confirm the inhibitor adsorption on the metal surface, which is in accordance with the variation of apparent activation energy of corrosion. Finally, inhibition efficiency is discussed in terms of protective film formation. 相似文献

In this study, we develop an approximate formulation for two‐dimensional nonlinear Sobolev problems by focusing on pseudospectral meshless radial point interpolation (PSMRPI) which is a kind of locally applied radial basis function interpolation and truthfully a meshless approach. In the PSMRPI method, the nodal points do not need to be regularly distributed and can even be quite arbitrary. It is easy to have high order derivatives of unknowns in terms of the values at nodal points by constructing operational matrices. The convergence and stability of the technique in some sense are studied via some examples to show the validity and trustworthiness of the PSMRPI technique. 相似文献
