Solid-state (13)C-NMR spectroscopy was used to characterize native cellulose pellicles from two strains of Gluconacetobacter xylinus (ATCC 53582, ATCC 23769), which had been statically cultivated in Hestrin-Schramm (HS) medium containing fully (13)C-labeled beta-D-glucose-U-(13)C(6) as the sole source of carbon. For both samples, the (13)C-NMR chemical shifts were completely assigned for each (13)C-labeled site of cellulose I(alpha) with the aid of 2D refocused INADEQUATE NMR. To determine the principal chemical shift tensor components, a pulse sequence based on the recoupling of anisotropy information (RAI) was applied at 10 kHz MAS. The detailed (13)C tensors of cellulose I(alpha) from different bacterial celluloses are thus available now for the first time, and these results have been compared with previously published data of nonenriched material and with theoretical predictions.  相似文献

This overview highlights recent progress in the field of selective construction of linear, oligonuclear transition-metal complexes by using solid-phase synthesis procedures. Two general protocols have been identified: formation of coordinative bonds between metal centres and bridging ligands and formation of covalent bonds between preformed kinetically inert transition-metal-containing building blocks in the chain growth step. Currently available suitable building blocks for the second approach are based on ferrocene units, bis(terpyridine)-ruthenium(II) moieties or metal porphyrins.  相似文献

The synthesis of strophasterol A, a moderator of endoplasmatic reticulum (ER) stress in Alzheimer's disease, and the first member of a structurally unprecedented class of secosterols, was achieved through the implementation of a key step of its proposed biosynthesis and two C?H oxidations. Analysis of the innate reactivity of the intermediates enabled the identification of a novel way to prepare an α‐chloro‐γ‐hydroxy‐δ‐keto enone, as well as its vinylogous α‐ketol rearrangement to a δ‐keto carboxylic acid.  相似文献

SECM in generator-collector mode was used to detect the presence of immobilised enzymes on titanium dioxide layers which were chemically or electrochemically generated with possible application as chemical sensors and biosensors. Glucose oxidase (GOx) and horseradish peroxidase (HRP) were immobilised by SAM generation using aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APTES) and ascorbic acid. The enzymes were successfully immobilised on two different TiO(2) surfaces. A simple test of durability of the system was made and a model of SAM organisation is presented.  相似文献

Summary: Carboxylic acids were efficiently activated with N,N′‐carbonyldiimidazole (CDI) and applied for the acylation of cellulose under homogeneous conditions using dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO)/tetrabutylammonium fluoride trihydrate (TBAF) as solvent. The simple and elegant method is a very mild and easily applicable tool for the synthesis of pure aliphatic, alicyclic, bulky, and unsaturated cellulose esters with degrees of substitution of up to 1.9. Products are soluble in organic solvents, e.g., DMSO or N,N‐dimethylformamide (DMF). The cellulose esters were characterized by elemental analysis, FT‐IR, 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy and show no impurities or substructures resulting from side reactions.

Xylan from birch wood was characterized regarding both the supramolecular structure (X-ray, CP/MAS 13C-NMR) and the sugar composition. The reaction of the birch wood xylan with 2,3-epoxypropyltrimethylammonium chloride in 1,2-dimethoxyethane as slurry medium yields water-soluble, cationic 2-hydroxypropyltrimethylammonium xylan derivatives with high degree of substitution (DS). The DS values up to 1.6 can be controlled by adjusting the molar ratio in a one step synthesis. The structure of the cationic xylan derivatives was confirmed by means of DEPT(135) NMR spectroscopy. Film forming properties of cationic xylan derivatives were investigated with SEM measurements.  相似文献

Secodecahedradiene 2a , featuring very proximate, perfectly syn‐periplanar and significantly pyramidalized C=C bonds, was synthesized as testing object for in‐plane(σ)‐homoconjugational electron delocalization, starting from the available pagodane 15b . The response of 2a (and in part its diester 2b ) – in π,π‐distance (average 3.08 Å), olefinic pyramidalization (average 26.9°), and π,π‐split (PE, 1.15 eV) intermediate between disecododecahedradiene 1a and 1,16‐dodecahedradiene 3a – to selected 4π‐reagents, electrophiles, and radicals was explored experimentally and by calculations. Intriguing multistep reaction sequences attest to the ease of competing stabilization pathways for the 3C/2e in‐plane homoconjugated cationic intermediates. PE, CV, and ESR measurements and calculations (DFT) characterize the radical cation generated from 2a as in‐plane homoconjugated 4C/3e‐species 2a .+, persistent in a Freon matrix, but only very shortly existent in solution (CIDNP). Consequently, NMR control of the two‐electron oxidation in SbF5/SO2ClF did not disclose the σ‐bis‐homoaromatic dication 4C/2e (see 2a 2 + ), but a bis‐allylic dication 75 as persistent species. In support of 2a 2 + as intermediate, evidence is presented for very limited kinetic protection offered by the secododecahedral framework to through H‐cage σ‐homoconjugated cations.  相似文献
