Critical behaviour and associated conformal algebra of the Z3 Potts model

The conformal algebra for operators of the Z₃ model in the phase transition point is built. Critical exponents are found in this approach as solutions of simple algebraic equations, which are the consistency conditions of the algebra.Multipoint correlation functions obey linear differential equations. Some solutions are given for the four-point correlation functions of the Z₃ model at the phase transition point.     

Operator algebra of two-dimensional conformal theories with central charge C ≤ 1

Structure constants of operator algebras in conformal theories with central charge C ≤ 1 are explicitly calculated.     

1-(Cyanoacetyl)-3,5-dimethylpyrazole as Active Methylene Compound in Hantzsch-type Pyridine Synthesis: A Convenient and Highly Effective Approach to 3,5-Dicyano-4-(het)aryl-6-oxo-1,4,5,6-tetrahydropyridine-2-thiolates

Summary. Reaction of 1-(cyanoacetyl)-3,5-dimethylpyrazole with (E)-2-cyano-3-(het)arylprop-2-enethioamides was used for the synthesis of N-methylmorpholinium 3,5-dicyano-4-(het)aryl-6-oxo-1,4,5,6-tetrahydropyridine-2-thiolates for the first time. The latter were also obtained in a multicomponent one-pot mode via the condensation of cyanothioacetamide with corresponding aldehydes and above 1-cyanoacetylpyrazole in the presence of N-methylmorpholine under mild conditions. Thiolates 1 exist as a pair of cis/trans-diastereomers in different ratios (from 3:4 to 2:1). Last author was Deceased on February 26, 2007     

Reduction of (<Emphasis Type="Italic">E</Emphasis>)-3-aryl-2-(thiazol-2-yl)acrylonitriles with lithium aluminum hydride

Reduction of (E)-3-aryl-2-(4-arylthiazol-2-yl)acrylonitriles with lithium aluminum hydride in dry ether afforded (Z)-1-amino-3-aryl-2-(thiazol-2-yl)prop-1-ene derivatives in 15 to 40% yields. The structure of (Z)-1-amino-3-(2-chlorophenyl)-2-[4-(4-methylphenyl)thiazol-2-yl]prop-1-ene was confirmed by X-ray diffraction analysis. Dedicated to Academician N. K. An Efficient Mannich-Type One-Pot Synthesis of 3,5,7,11-Tetraazatricyclo [7.3.1.02,7]tridec-2-ene Derivatives Starting from Functionalized 1,4-Dihydropyridines

3,5,7,11-Tetraazatricyclo[7.3.1.0^2,7]tridec-2-ene derivatives were prepared in one-pot manner from N-methylmorpholinium 6-amino-3,5-dicyano-4-spiro(1′-cycloalkane)-1,4-dihydropyridine-2-thiolates, primary amines, and formaldehyde in 70–88% yields. The structure of 5,11-dibenzyl-13-spiro(1′-cyclopentane)-8-thioxo-3,5,7,11-tetraazatricyclo[7.3.1.0^2,7]tridec-2-ene-1,9-dicarbonitrile was determined by X-ray diffraction analysis.
