Synthesis of molecular sieve AlPO4-12

A member of the novel family of crystalline microporous aluminophosphates, AlPO₄-12, was synthesized by hydrothermal crystallization using different aluminum-containing compounds. Three new crystalline phases were obtained by varying the composition of the reaction mixture. The effect of the synthesis conditions on the hudrothermal process and the kinetics of crystallization are discussed. The apparent activation energies obtained for AlPO₄-12 are 20.9 and 14.6 kcal/mol for nucleation and crystallization, respectively. The adsorption isotherms of one AlPO₄-12 product were measured.     

FT–IR spectroscopic study on the photo- and photooxidative degradation of nylons

The progress of photo- and photooxidative degradation of nylon films were studied by FT–IR spectroscopy. The gases evolved from the photolysis of various nylons and their model amides were also analyzed. The formation of double bonds, changes of crystallinity, and the effect of amino and carboxyl end groups has been studied and discussed. The band shapes of the IR spectra pertaining to the carbonyl groups formed by thermal oxidation or photooxidation were found to be very similar, suggesting that the two oxidation mechanisms might be similar. The broadness of these bands indicates that the carbonyl groups may belong to more than one species. The photodegradation of nylons containing purposely inserted carbonyl groups formed ? CH?CH₂ groups. Carbonyl groups formed during oxidation, and present either as keto groups or part of N-acylamide units make nylons susceptible to degradation reactions entailing mainly a Norrish type II mechanism.

On the physical adsorption of gases on carbon materials from molecular simulation

In this paper we present a series of work covering a range of aspects relating molecular simulation to experiment. The importance of surface mediation type effects to the adsorption of simple and complex gases is demonstrated. Coupled with the adsorption of simple gases is their projection area when used for surface area determination. The pressure dependence of a projection area is demonstrated for argon at 77 and 87.3 K. A simple model is used to account for the degree of graphitisation of a surface is demonstrated and used to account for the isosteric heat behaviour of non-graphitised carbon blacks. Turning from surfaces to porous solids, an alternative treatment of experiment data (either sub or super critical) is presented that avoids the ambiguity of excess amounts adsorbed. Using this method one is able to obtain pore size distributions and amounts adsorbed without relying on such things as helium expansion volumes. Since this type of method is usually applied to composite solids we also demonstrate the correct method for calculating the heat of adsorption using independent sets of simulations. The final topic covered in this paper is an example of the information that can be gained from the heat capacity of an adsorbed phase.     

Synthesis of 2-(p-R-benzoylmethylene)-3-(p-R-phenyl)-1H-quinoxalines

The reaction of 1,2-diaminobenzenes with substituted 1,2-dibenzoyl-1,2-dibromoethanes constitutes a convenient synthetic route to the hitherto 2-(p-R-benzoylmethylene)-3-(p-R-phenyl)-1H-quinoxalines. Structures of all products were elucidated by ir, ¹H and ¹³C-nmr, mass spectra data. X-Ray crystallography data confirm assigned structures.     

Global Forcing Number of Benzenoid Graphs

A global forcing set in a simple connected graph G with a perfect matching is any subset S of E(G) such that the restriction of the characteristic function of perfect matchings of G on S is an injection. The number of edges in a global forcing set of the smallest cardinality is called the global forcing number of G. In this paper we prove several results concerning global forcing sets and numbers of benzenoid graphs. In particular, we prove that all catacondensed benzenoids and catafused coronoids with n hexagons have the global forcing number equal to n, and that for pericondensed benzenoids the global forcing number is always strictly smaller than the number of hexagons.     

间规聚苯乙烯的化学改性

介绍了间规聚苯乙烯（sPS)的结构，特性和各种化学改性方法，包括在sPS侧链苯环上引入磺酸基，卤素等功能基因，在sPS分子链末端引入马来酸酐，丙烯酸酯等极性基因，与氢化丁二烯－苯乙烯热塑性弹性体（SEBS）形成接枝共聚物，及其与各类烯烃单体的共聚，对进一步拓宽sPs的应用领域具有重要意义。     

Chemical-effect variation of Kβ/Kα X-ray intensity ratios in 3d elements

Chemical effects on Kβ/Kα X-ray intensity ratios for some Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu and Zn compounds are studied experimentally. The X-ray spectra were measured by using a Si (Li) solid state detector with high resolution. The vacancies were produced by heavily filtered ²⁴¹Am gamma rays. It is found that the Kβ/Kα X-ray intensity ratios measured with compounds deviated up to 43% from the corresponding values of the pure elements. The values for pure elements are compared with the other experimental and with theoretical values.     

产母及新生儿血铅水平及影响因素的研究

为了解佛山市产母、新生儿血铅水平及其相关影响因素 ,采用电感耦合高频等离子体发射光谱法 ,于 2 0 0 2年 5～ 9月 ,取本院产科产母静脉血及其新生儿脐血 1 5 2例 ,进行血铅、钙、锌、铁、铜和锰水平测定 ,按妇幼保健管理卡内容 ,进行相关记录。结果表明 ,产母血铅水平90 1± 3 4 8μg/L ,BPb≥ 1 0 0 μg/L者占 2 0 3 9% ;新生儿脐血铅水平 89 2± 3 1 6μg/L ,铅中毒率为2 2 3 7% ;母子血铅值呈显著正相关 (r=0 85 7,P <0 0 1 ) ,产母血铅值与其血钙、铁值显著负相关 (r=0 2 66,-0 3 0 1 ,P <0 0 5 ) ;城郊产母及新生儿血铅水平显著高于城区。揭示市郊孕妇、新生儿血铅较高 ,血钙、锌、铁含量影响血铅水平
