Adopting a model independent approach, we constrain the various effective interactions of leptophilic DM particles with the visible world from the WMAP and Planck data. The thermally averaged indirect DM annihilation cross section and the DM–electron direct-detection cross section for such a DM candidate are observed to be consistent with the respective experimental data. We study the production of cosmologically allowed leptophilic DM in association with \(Z\, (Z\rightarrow f\bar{f})\), \(f\equiv q,\,e^-,\, \mu ^-\) at the ILC. We perform the \(\chi ^2\) analysis and compute the 99% C.L. acceptance contours in the \(m_\chi \) and \(\varLambda \) plane from the two-dimensional differential distributions of various kinematic observables obtained after employing parton showering and hadronisation to the simulated data. We observe that the dominant hadronic channel provides the best kinematic reach of 2.62 TeV (\(m_\chi \) = 25 GeV), which further improves to \(\sim \)3 TeV for polarised beams at \(\sqrt{s} = 1\) TeV and an integrated luminosity of 1 ab\(^{-1}\).  相似文献

The synthesis of a mononuclear, five-coordinate ferrous complex [([15]aneN4)FeII(SPh)](BF4) (1) is reported. This complex is a new model of the reduced active site of the enzyme superoxide reductase (SOR), which is comprised of a [(NHis)4(Scys)FeII] center. Complex 1 reacts with alkylhydroperoxides (tBuOOH, cumenylOOH) at low temperature to give a metastable, dark red intermediate (2a: R = tBu; 2b: R = cumenyl) that has been characterized by UV-vis, EPR, and resonance Raman spectroscopy. The UV-vis spectrum (-80 degrees C) reveals a 526 nm absorbance (epsilon = 2150 M-1 cm-1) for 2a and a 527 nm absorbance (epsilon = 1650 M-1 cm-1) for 2b, indicative of alkylperoxo-to-iron(III) LMCT transitions, and the EPR data (77 K) show that both intermediates are low-spin iron(III) complexes (g = 2.20 and 1.97). Definitive identification of the Fe(III)-OOR species comes from RR spectra, which give nu(Fe-O) = 612 (2a) and 615 (2b) cm-1, and nu(O-O) = 803 (2a) and 795 (2b) cm-1. The assignments for 2a were confirmed by 18O substitution (tBu18O18OH), resulting in a 28 cm-1 downshift for nu(Fe-18O), and a 46 cm-1 downshift for nu(18O-18O). These data show that 2a and 2b are low-spin FeIII-OOR species with weak Fe-O bonds and suggest that a low-spin intermediate may occur in SOR, as opposed to previous proposals invoking high-spin intermediates.  相似文献

Humins are one of the undesirable products formed during the dehydration of sugars as well as the conversion of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF) to value-added products. Thus, reducing the formation of humins is an important strategy for improving the yield of the aforementioned reactions. Even after a plethora of studies, the mechanism of formation and the structure of humins are still elusive. In this regard, we have employed density functional theory-based mechanistic studies and microkinetic analysis to identify crucial intermediates formed from glucose, fructose, and HMF that can initiate the polymerization reactions resulting in humins under Brønsted acid-catalyzed reaction conditions. This study brings light into crucial elementary reaction steps that can be targeted for controlling humins formation. Moreover, this work provides a rationale for the experimentally observed aliphatic chains and HMF condensation products in the humins structure. Different possible polymerization routes that could contribute to the structure of humins are also suggested based on the results. Importantly, the findings of this work indicate that increasing the rate of isomerization of glucose to fructose and reducing the rate of reaction between HMF molecules could be an efficient strategy for reducing humins formation.  相似文献

In this paper, a nondifferentiable multiobjective programming problem is considered where every component of objective and constraint functions contain a term involving the support function of a compact convex set. A new class of higher order (F,α,ρ,d)-type I function is introduced. Necessary optimality conditions and the duality theorems for Wolfe and unified higher order dual problems are established. One‐pot regioselective benzylation of pyrroles and indoles using zirconium tetrachloride is discussed. This has been achieved by in‐situ generation of di(1H‐pyrrol‐1‐yl)zirconium(IV) chloride and di(1H‐indol‐1‐yl)zirconium(IV) chloride. In thermal printing, bisphenol A (BPA) functions chemically as a developer and reacts with white or colorless dyes in the presence of heat, converting them to a dark color. BPA can transfer readily to skin in small amounts from these papers. Its damage to environment and organisms has caused an extensive concern. In the present study, thermal paper used at the local automated teller machine counters of India were analyzed for the presence of BPA, and the capability of the paper to produce estrogenicity were assessed using a yeast two-hybrid assay experimental system. The study also focused on eliminating the endocrine-disrupting properties with partially purified laccase from newly isolated ascomycete fungi. The results indicate that these papers can produce estrogen hormone-like effect on experimental systems. It should be noted that on a daily basis, tons of such receipts are being dumped in the environment. Estrogenic properties of thermal paper were effectively removed from the reaction mixture within 3 h of incubation with the partially purified enzyme. We propose the utilization of waste thermal paper as a cheap substrate for laccase production for a safer and cleaner environment.  相似文献

Nanostructured TiO2 in different shapes such as nanosheet, nanowire, and nanoflower, as well as nanosphere have been prepared and characterized. Nonlinear optical (NLO) properties were measured at 532 nm using open and closed aperture Z-scan technique with respect to the shape. NLO behaviour of the nanostructured TiO2 is found to be shape dependent in suspensions at the investigated wavelengths and is accounted in terms of effective surface-to-volume ratio of the structures. The values of different optical constants viz, β,n 2,χ (3) for different morphological structures were evaluated and compared. The optical limiting thresholds of the samples were also investigated and it is found to decrease with increase in the net light matter interaction area of the sample.  相似文献
