Spectroscopic labeling of A, S/T in the 1H-15N HSQC spectrum of uniformly (15N-13C) labeled proteins
A new triple resonance two-dimensional experiment, termed (HC)NH, has been described to generate specific labels on the peaks of alanines and serines/threonines, separately, in the 1H–15N HSQC spectrum of a protein. The performance of the pulse sequence has been demonstrated with a 151 residue protein. The method permits the investigation of local environments around those specific residues without actually having to obtain complete resonance assignments for the entire protein. With this one can envisage use of the technique for studying large protein systems from different points of view. 相似文献

A convergent and scalable synthetic route to a tetracyclic oligostilbenoid natural product, diptoindonesin G, is described where Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling and intramolecular Friedel-Crafts acylation were employed to construct the central C ring of diptoindonesin G. Structure and defect control are widely accepted effective strategies to manipulate the activity and stability of catalysts. On a freestanding hierarchically porous carbon microstructure, the tuning of oxygen vacancy in the embedded hollow cobaltosic oxide (Co3O4) nanoparticles is demonstrated through the regulation of nanoscale Kirkendall effect. Starting with the embedded cobalt nanoparticles, the concentration of oxygen‐vacancy defect can vary with the degree of Kirkendall oxidation, thus regulating the number of active sites and the catalytic performances. The optimized freestanding catalyst shows among the smallest reversible oxygen overpotential of 0.74 V for catalyzing oxygen reduction/evolution reactions in 0.1 m KOH. Moreover, the catalyst shows promise for substitution of noble metals to boost cathodic oxygen reactions in portable zinc–air batteries. Tritium concentration was monitored in different water sources collected around Kaiga Nuclear Power plant, India. The concentration was in the ranges?<?1.9–27.4 Bq L?1 (GM?=?4.0 Bq L?1) for groundwater,?<?1.9–42.1 Bq L?1 (GM?=?3.5 Bq L?1) for surface water and in 12.4–42.0 Bq L?1 (GM?=?24.07 Bq L?1) for reservoir water. The concentration values observed in this study are similar to those reported for other PHWR stations of the world. The radiation dose to the public due to ingestion of Tritium through groundwater was computed to be 0.08 μSvy?1.

Interface of Ag/57Fe/Ag trilayer has been studied with a depth resolution of a fraction of a nanometer using x-ray standing waves generated by a W/Si multilayer mirror used as a substrate. Two interfaces of 38 Å thick Fe layer in Ag/57Fe/Ag trilayer are clearly resolved. It is found that the rms roughness of the two interfaces Fe-on-Ag and Ag-on-Fe are 10 ± 1.0 and 6 ± 1.0 Å, respectively. Conversion electron Mössbauer spectroscopy (CEMS) has been used to get information about the volume fraction of the intermixed region and the estimated roughness from the relative area of the two sextets of CEMS spectra is found to be 7.0 Å which is consistent with the average roughness obtained by X-ray fluorescence measurements.
