An intramolecular charge transfer (ICT) molecule,p-N,N-dimethyl-aminobenzoic acid (DMABA) has been studied in zeolite and colloidal media. The ratio of ICT to normal emission
(ICT/LE) is greatly enhanced in zeolites compared to that in polar solvents. The ICT emission of DMABA was quenched by increasing
the concentration of TiO2 colloids, while the normal emission was slightly enhanced. Upon illumination of the heteropoly acid (HPA) incorporated TiO2 colloids, interfacial electron transfer takes place from the conduction band of TiO2 to the incorporated HPA which is also excited to catalyze the photoreduction of Methyl Orange. It is found that the interfacial
electron transfer mechanism of HPA/TiO2 is quite analogous to the Z-scheme mechanism for plant photosynthetic systems. In DMABA-adsorbed TiO2/Y-zeolite the ICT/LE ratio of DMABA is quite small implying that electron transfer takes place from DMABA to the conduction
band of TiO2. This results in drastic enhancement in the photocatalytic activity of DMABA-adsorbed TiO2/Y-zeolite compared to free TiO2/Y-zeolite. 相似文献

The essential oil of Premna latifolia Roxb. was obtained by hydrodistillation of fresh leaves of the plant having an oil yield of 0.05%, both non-polar and essential oil were analysed by GC and GC-MS. Hexane fraction of the leaves of P. latifolia was transesterified and analysed by GC and GC-MS, 40 non-polar components were identified comprising 89.3%. The most abundant fatty acid constituents were hexadecanoic acid (25.04%), 8,11,14-docosatrienoic acid (13.62%), octadecanoic acid (6.82%), 9,12-octadecadienoic acid (4.19%) and 29 components were investigated in the essential oil which comprises 78.1%. The most abundant oil constituents were 1-octen-3-ol (35.69%), terpendiol II (7.19%), δ-guaiene (7.49%) 2-undecanone (4.80%) and α-pinene (3.27%). Different extracts were also tested against polyphagous crop pest Spodoptera litura for antifeedant activity. Essential oil showed maximum growth reduction of 56.83% followed by chloroform extract of 43.93%. 相似文献

The direct enantioselective 1,4-addition of water to α,β-unsaturated acceptors is an open challenge in asymmetric catalysis. Enantioselective conjugate addition of either silicon or boron nucleophiles and subsequent enantiospecific oxidative degradation of the carbon-element bond represents, however, an attractive detour. A single extra step thereby enables an indirect enantiocontrolled construction of (in a broader sense) aldols from α,β-unsaturated carbonyl and carboxyl compounds. While that strategy had been obvious for a long time, it was recent stunning progress in transition metal-catalysed activation of interelement linkages that brought about the solution to that long-standing problem. A concise introduction of existing protocols for stereoselective 1,4-addition of oxygen nucleophiles is followed by a comprehensive summary of the recent rapid advances in transition metal-catalysed (and metal-free) asymmetric conjugate transfer of nucleophilic silicon and boron onto α,β-unsaturated acceptors. 相似文献

Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) analysis of O,O'-dialkyl methylphosphonites (DAMPs) was carried out with a view to developing a database and understanding the mechanism of fragmentation. DAMPs are included in the list of schedule 2B4 chemicals of the Chemical Weapons Convention. GC-MS analysis of DAMPs and their deuterated analogs revealed that their fragmentations were dominated by α-cleavages, alkenyl radical loss and hydrogen rearrangements. Based on fragment ions of deuterated analogs and density functional theory calculations, the fragmentation routes were rationalized. 相似文献

The key aim of the present study is to attain nondifferentiable solutions of extended wave equation by making use of a local fractional derivative describing fractal strings by applying local fractional homotopy perturbation Laplace transform scheme. The convergence and uniqueness of the obtained solution by using suggested scheme is also examined. To determine the computational efficiency of offered scheme, some numerical examples are discussed. The line widths of cyanogen bromide (BrCN) have been measured at room temperature (305 K) by using a double modulation microwave spectrograph. The self-broadening of two quadrupole hyperfine lines of the transition J = 3 → 4 has been measured. The foreign gas broadening by OCS, CO2, N2, CH3CN, CH3I, HCHO and CH3CHO molecules has been measured only for the intense line at 32·957 GHz. These measured line widths have been compared with the calculated line widths using Anderson [6] as well as Murphy and Boggs [8] theories of pressure broadening. 相似文献

A numerical scheme for a class of singularly perturbed delay parabolic partial differential equations which has wide applications in the various branches of science and engineering is suggested. The solution of these problems exhibits a parabolic boundary layer on the lateral side of the rectangular domain which continuously depends on the perturbation parameter. For the small perturbation parameter, the standard numerical schemes for the solution of these problems fail to resolve the boundary layer(s) and the oscillations occur near the boundary layer. Thus, in this paper to resolve the boundary layer the extended cubic B-spline basis functions consisting of a free parameter λ are used on a fitted-mesh. The extended B-splines are the extension of classical B-splines. To find the best value of λ the optimization technique is adopted. The extended cubic B-splines are an advantage over the classical B-splines as for some optimized value of λ the solution obtained by the extended B-splines is better than the solution obtained by classical B-splines. The method is shown to be first-order accurate in t and almost the second-order accurate in x. It is also shown that this method is better than some existing methods. Several test problems are encountered to validate the theoretical results. 相似文献

A numerical method based on finite difference method with variable mesh is given for self-adjoint singularly perturbed two-point boundary value problems. To obtain parameter- uniform convergence, a variable mesh is constructed, which is dense in the boundary layer region and coarse in the outer region. The uniform convergence analysis of the method is discussed. The original problem is reduced to its normal form and the reduced problem is solved by finite difference method taking variable mesh. In this paper, we study certain interesting and useful properties of incomplete -functions. The incomplete -function is an extension of the -function. We find several useful classical integral transforms of these functions. Further, we examine the fractional calculus with the incomplete -functions and point out several special cases.
