Fast ions are observed to be very well confined in the Madison Symmetric Torus reversed field pinch despite the presence of stochastic magnetic field. The fast-ion energy loss is consistent with the classical slowing down rate, and their confinement time is longer than expected by stochastic estimates. Fast-ion confinement is measured from the decay of d-d neutrons following a short pulse of a 20 keV atomic deuterium beam. Ion confinement agrees with computation of particle trajectories in the stochastic magnetic field, and is understood through consideration of ion guiding center islands. 相似文献

Complementary measurements of ion energy distributions in a magnetically confined high-temperature plasma show that magnetic reconnection results in both anisotropic ion heating and the generation of suprathermal ions. The anisotropy, observed in the C(+6) impurity ions, is such that the temperature perpendicular to the magnetic field is larger than the temperature parallel to the magnetic field. The suprathermal tail appears in the majority ion distribution and is well described by a power law to energies 10 times the thermal energy. In the axially symmetric magnetic mirror device gas dynamic trap (GDT), on-axis transverse beta (ratio of the transverse plasma pressure to magnetic field pressure) exceeding 0.4 in the fast ion turning points has been first achieved. The plasma has been heated by injection of neutral beams, which at the same time produced anisotropic fast ions. Neither enhanced losses of the plasma nor anomalies in the fast ion scattering and slowing down were observed. This observation confirms predicted magnetohydrodynamic stability of plasma in the axially symmetric mirror devices with average min-B, like the GDT is. The measured beta value is rather close to that expected in different versions of the GDT based 14 MeV neutron source for fusion materials testing. 相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of a new series of polypropylenimine dendrimers is reported. Using a repetition of the sequence of a Michael addition to a primary amine, followed by a heterogeneously catalyzed hydrogenation, ultra-pure polypropylenimine macromolecules with molecular weights up to 6912 are synthesized. The reaction sequence allows the preparation of these dendrimers at very large scales, whilst the availability of a simple purification in the sequence affords ultra-pure samples. The polypropylenimine dendrimers are fully characterized; apart from the first 0.5 generation they are all oils, possess a Tg in the range from −90 to −40 °C, are unexpectedly stable, and their intrinsic viscosity drops after generation 4. 相似文献

Bismuth(III) can be generated in a solution by electrolytically oxidizing dilute bismuth amalgam. Oxygen present in the solution contacting the amalgam also oxidizes the amalgam. Therefore normal coulometric circuits are not suitable for the generation of trace quantities of bismuth(III), even after prolonged passage of nitrogen. A procedure is described by which the interference of oxygen is eliminated so that amounts of bismuth(III) down to 5·10-8 moles (in 30 ml) can be generated with 100% current efficiency. 相似文献

In this study a new method for the simultaneous confirmation of betamethasone and dexamethasone residues in bovine liver is presented. A Quattro LCZ triple quadrupole mass spectrometer, equipped with an atmospheric pressure ionization (API) source, was coupled to a high performance liquid chromatograph (HPLC) system. Spiked liver samples were first extracted with acetonitrile, and the extracts were purified on C-18 columns. LC separations were performed on a Hypercarb column, with acetonitrile/water (90:10, v/v, +0.3% formic acid) as the mobile phase. Retention times for dexa- and betamethasone were 6.60 and 8.50 min, respectively. Fluorometholone had a retention time of 6.70 min and was used as the internal standard. The detection of the analytes was performed in the multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) mode. The assay was linear over the range of 0.5 to 8 microg/kg for both analytes. The estimated determination limits were 0.2 microg/kg for both beta- and dexamethasone and the quantification limits were 0.4 microg/kg for dexamethasone and 0.3 microg/kg for betamethasone. Analysis precision at 1, 2 and 4 microg/kg was lower than 6.1% (relative standard deviation, RSD) and accuracy was at least 97.5%. Recoveries at 1, 2 and 4 microg/kg ranged between 56 and 69%. 相似文献

The surface exchange coefficient and chemical diffusion coefficient of oxygen for the perovskites La0.6Sr0.4Co1–yFeyO3– (y=0.2, 0.5 and 0.8) were measured using the conductivity relaxation technique. Measurements were performed between 600 and 800 °C in an oxygen partial pressure range between 10–4 and 1 bar. Both transport coefficients decrease markedly with decreasing oxygen partial pressure below about 10–2 bar at all temperatures. This is attributed to ordering of oxygen vacancies. This paper has improved Hickman's nonadiabatic collision model by substituting Hickman's constant velocity classical straight line trajectory approximation with the solution of motion equation mR=?dV(R)/dR, and has calculated the cross sections of ion-pair formation Cs+O2→Cs++O?2 with the improved nonadiabatic collision model (INCM).
