The lifetimes of eight levels belonging to the 6p configuration of KrI and thirteen levels belonging to different configurations of KrII have been measured. The levels were excited by short electron pulses of appropriate energy and the lifetimes determined by a delayed coincidence method using single photon counting techniques. All measurements were carried out at different gas pressures. The measured lifetimes of the KrII levels are compared with other experimental results obtained by a different method (beam-foil spectroscopy) and with calculations made in the intermediate coupling scheme.  相似文献

This communication describes a new neutron spectrometer consisting of pairs of 7Li and 6Li based thermoluminescent dosemeters (MCP-6, MCP-7) located at selected positions within a single moderating polyethylene sphere. The spatial arrangement of the dosemeters has been designed using the MCNPX Monte Carlo code to calculate the response matrix in order to obtain a nearly isotropic response for neutrons in the energy range up to 20 MeV. A partial validation of the calculated response matrix has been performed with the calibrated 241Am–Be neutron source at the INFN–LNF Laboratory, using the shadow cone technique.  相似文献

The interaction, at a low temperature, between molecular hydrogen and the zeolite Li-FER was studied by means of variable temperature infrared spectroscopy and theoretical calculations using a periodic DFT model. The adsorbed dihydrogen molecule becomes infrared active, giving a characteristic IR absorption band (H-H stretching) at 4090 cm(-1). Three different Li(+) site types with respect to H(2) adsorption were found in the zeolite, two of which adsorb H(2). Calculations showed a similar interaction energy for these two sites, which was found to agree with the experimentally determined value of standard adsorption enthalpy of DeltaH(0) = -4.1 (+/-0.8) kJ mol(-1). The results are discussed in the broader context of previously reported data for H(2) adsorption on Na-FER and K-FER.  相似文献

The crystal structure of the quaternary compound CuTaInSe3 belonging to the system (CuInSe2)1‐x(TaSe)x with x= 0.5, was analyzed using X‐ray powder diffraction data. This material is isostructural with the CuFeInSe3 compound, and crystallize in the tetragonal space group P42c (Nº 112), Z = 1, with unit cell parameters a = 5.7831(1) Å, c = 11.6227(4) Å, V = 388.71(2) Å3. The Rietveld refinement of 18 instrumental and structural variables led to Rp = 8.0%, Rwp = 9.5%, Rexp = 6.3% and χ2 = 1.5 for 4501 step intensities and 144 independent reflections. Single crystals of the magnetic semiconductor CoIn0.5Cr1.5S4, belong to the system CoIn(2‐2X)Cr(2X)S4 with x = 0.75, was grown by the chemical transport method. X‐ray powder diffraction characterization by the Rietveld method indicated that CoIn0.5Cr1.5S4 crystallizes in the space group Fd‐3m, Z = 8, with a = 10.0700(6) Å and V = 1021.2(1) Å3, in a normal spinel structure. The temperature dependence of the DC magnetization suggests that the studied compound presents a ferromagnetic behavior with a Curie temperature Tc = 220 K. The crystal structure of the new quaternary compound CuTa2InTe4 was studied using X-ray powder diffraction data. The powder pattern refined by the Rietveld method indicates that this material crystallizes in the tetragonal system with space group I-4¯2m (No. 121), Z=2, and unit cell parameters a=6.1963(2) Å, c=12.4164(4) Å, c/a=2.00 and V=476.72(3) Å3. The structural and instrumental refinement of 28 parameters led to Rp=10.4%, Rwp=11.1%, Rexp=6.8% and χ2=2.7 for 96 independent reflections.  相似文献

Intrinsically luminescent room‐temperature ionic liquids (RTILs) can be prepared by combining a luminescent anion (more common) or cation with appropriate counter ions, rendering new luminescent soft materials. These RTILs are still new, and many of their photochemical properties are not well known. A novel intrinsic luminescent RTIL based on the 8‐anilinonaphthalene‐1‐sulfonate ([ANS]) anion combined with the trihexyltetradecylphosphonium ([P6,6,6,14]) cation was prepared and characterized by spectroscopic techniques. Detailed photophysical studies highlight the influence of the ionic liquid environment on the ANS fluorescence, which together with rheological and 1H NMR experiments illustrate the effects of both the viscosity and electrostatic interactions between the ions. This material is liquid at room temperature and possesses a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 230.4 K. The fluorescence is not highly sensitive to factors such as temperature, but owing to its high viscosity, dynamic Stokes shift measurements reveal very slow components for the IL relaxation.  相似文献
