In this work a series of tetrakis complexes C[Tm(acac)4], where C+=Li+, Na+ and K+ countercations and acac=acetylacetonate ligand, were synthesized and characterized for photoluminescence investigation. The relevant aspect is that these complexes are water-free in the first coordination sphere. The emission spectra of the tetrakis Tm3+-complexes present narrow bands characteristic of the 1G43H6 (479 nm), 1G43F4 (650 nm) and 1G43H5 (779 nm) transitions of the Tm3+ ion, with the blue emission color at 479 nm as the most prominent one. The lifetime values (τ) of the emitting 1G4 level of the C[Tm(acac)4] complexes were 344, 360 and 400 ns for the Li+, Na+ and K+ countercations, respectively, showing an increasing linear behavior versus the ionic radius of the alkaline ion. An efficient intramolecular energy transfer process from the triplet state (T) of the ligands to the emitting 1G4 state of the Tm3+ ion is observed. This fact, together with the absence of water molecules in first coordination sphere, allows these tetrakis Tm3+-complexes to act as efficient blue light conversion molecular devices.  相似文献

We study graded limits of simple -modules which are isomorphic to tensor products of Kirillov–Reshetikhin modules associated to a fixed fundamental weight. We prove that every such module admits a graded limit which is isomorphic to the fusion product of the graded limits of its tensor factors. In this paper we address the problem of localizing fermion states on stable domain-wall junctions. The study focus on the consequences of intersecting six independent 8d domain walls to form 4d junctions in a ten-dimensional spacetime. This is related to the mechanism of relaxing to three space dimensions through the formation of domain-wall junctions. The model is based on six bulk real scalar fields, the φ 4 model in its broken phase, the prototype of the Higgs field, and is such that the fermion and scalar modes bound to the domain walls are the zero mode and a single massive bound state, which can be regarded as a two-level system, at least at sufficiently low energy. Inside the junction, we use the fact that some states are statistically more favored to address the possibility of constraining the flavor number of the elementary fermions.  相似文献

Luminescent films containing terbium complex [Tb(acac)3(H2O)3] (acac=acetylacetonate) doped into a polycarbonate (PC) matrix were prepared and irradiated at low-dose gamma radiation with ratio of 5 and 10 kGy. The PC polymer was doped with 5% (w/w) of the Tb3+ complex. The thermal behavior was investigated by utilization of differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermogravimetry analysis (TGA). Changes in thermal stability due to the addition of doping agent into the polycarbonate matrix. Based on the emission spectra of PC:5% Tb(acac)3 film were observed the characteristic bands arising from the 5D47FJ transitions of Tb3+ ion (J=0–6), indicating the ability to obtain the luminescent films. Doped samples irradiated at low dose of gamma irradiation showed a decrease in luminescence intensity with increasing of the dose.  相似文献
