AgOTf proved to be an effective catalyst for the transesterification of β‐keto esters with primary, secondary and tertiary alcohols. The products were obtained in high yield within a reasonable reaction time period. Sol/gel-derived silica gel was prepared at room temperature from tetraethyl orthosilicate precursor. The extracts of Terminalia chebula (Haritoki) were entrapped into the porous silica gel. Fourier transform infrared analysis revealed the proper adsorption of herbal values in the nanopores of the silica gel. Porosity was estimated by transmission electron microscope studies. The release kinetics of the extract in both 0.1 N HCl, pH 1.2, and Phosphate-buffer saline (PBS), pH 7.2, were determined using UV–Vis spectroscopy. Different dissolution models were applied to release data in order to evaluate the release mechanisms and kinetics. Biphasic release patterns were found in every formulation for both the buffer systems. The kinetics followed a zero-order equation for first 4 h and a Higuchi expression in a subsequent timeline in the case of 0.1 N HCl. In the case of PBS, the formulations showed best linearity with a first-order equation followed by Higuchi’s model. The sustained release of the extract predominantly followed diffusion and super case II transport mechanism. The release value was always above the minimum inhibitory concentration. 相似文献

Glancing angle deposition (GLAD) has been employed to fabricate the Si/Si–O nanowires (NWs). The perpendicular NW on silicon substrate shows the amorphous nature. Generalized quantum measurements with two outcomes are fully characterized by two real parameters, dubbed as sharpness parameter and biasedness parameter and they can be linked with different aspects of the experimental setup. It is known that sharpness parameter characterizes precision of the measurements and decreasing sharpness parameter of the measurements reduces the possibility of probing quantum features like quantum mechanical (QM) violation of local-realism (LR) or macro-realism (MR). Here we investigate the effect of biasedness together with that of sharpness of measurements and find a trade-off between those two parameters in the context of probing QM violations of LR and MR. An equivalent circuit model of uni-traveling carrier photodiode (UTC-PD) is developed from integral carrier density rate equation and few important properties of the device such as the electrical and optical characteristics are evaluated by employing advanced device physics. Circuit model incorporates chip and package parasitic of the device quite simply to provide practical behaviour of UTC-PD. We have developed small signal ac circuit model which is useful for the analysis of low power modulation characteristics of the device and dc circuit model which is advantageous to find wavelength dependent responsivity fairly accurately. At high optical input power the device bandwidth is found to be increased through enhancement of self-induced field in the absorption region and high output power can be derived from the device when absorption width is large. Such condition calls for large signal analysis. We have developed large signal circuit model by combining few mathematical transformations with small signal circuit model with different circuit element values. Our large signal model is unique that the same circuit can be used for both small and large signal analysis. With large signal model the optical power induced bandwidth improvement and output photocurrent saturation are explained. Large signal model is validated through linearity and IP3 analysis which found close agreement with the measured results. 相似文献

5(Benzothiazol-2-yl)-4-hydroxyisophthalaldehyde (BHI), an intense ESIPT containing molecule in mixed media loses its properties due to resonance-assisted H-bond (RAHB) in absolute water. Due to resonance-assisted H-bond the o-aldehyde is more reactive than the other one. With addition of cysteine/homocysteine into this solution the o-aldehyde group gets transformed into thiazolidine/thiazine ring, respectively, and the phenolic proton becomes free enough for transfer to nitrogen of the benzothiazole ring in excited state, that is, the ESIPT of BHI is turned on. Thus we can detect cysteine/homocysteine in water as well as in live cells. 相似文献
