Early and accurate detection of primary or metastatic tumors is of great value in staging, treatment management, and prognosis. Tumor angiogenesis plays an essential role in the growth, invasion, and metastatic spread of solid cancers, and so, is a promising approach for tumor imaging. The GX1 (CGNSNPKSC) peptide was identified by phage display library and has been investigated as a marker for human cancers. This study aims to evaluate the 99mTc-HYNIC-PEG4-c (GX1) as a biomarker for tumor imaging. Our results showed that GX1 specifically binds to tumor cells in vitro. SKMEL28 and MDA-MB231 cells achieved total binding peak at 60 min of incubation. For B16F10 and MKN45 cells, the total and specific binding were similar during all time points, while A549 cell line showed rapid cellular total uptake of the tracer at 30 min of incubation. Biodistribution showed low non-specific uptakes and rapid renal excretion. Melanoma tumors showed enhanced GX1 uptake in animal model at 60 min, and it was significantly blocked by cold peptide. The radiotracer showed tumor specificity, especially in melanomas that are highly vascularized tumors. In this sense, it should be considered in future studies, aiming to evaluate degree of angiogenesis, progression, and invasion of tumors. 相似文献

Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) probes the surface features of specimens using an extremely sharp tip scanning the sample surface while the force is applied. AFM is also widely used for investigating the electrically non-conductive materials by applying an electric potential on the tip. Piezoresponse Force Microscopy (PFM) and Electrochemical Strain Microscopy (ESM) are variants of AFM for different materials. Both PFM and ESM signals are obtained by observing the displacement of the tip when applying electric fields during the scanning process. The PFM technique is based on converse piezoelectric effect of ferroelectrics and the ESM technique is based on electrochemical coupling in solid ionic conductors. In this work, two continuum-mechanical formulations for simulation of PFM and ESM are discussed. In the first model, for PFM simulation, a phase field approach based on the Allen-Cahn equation for non-conserved order parameters is employed for ferroelectrics. Here, the polarization vector is chosen as order parameter. Since ferroelectrics have highly anisotropic properties, this model accounts for transversely isotropic symmetry using an invariant formulation. The polarization switching behavior under the electric field will be discussed with some numerical examples. In the simulation of ESM, we employ a constitutive model based on the work of Bohn et al. [8] for the modeling of lithium manganese dioxide LiMn2O4 (LMO). It simulates the deformation of the LMO particle according to an applied voltage and the evolution of lithium concentration after removing a DC pulse. Given a solution u to a linear, homogeneous, second‐order elliptic equation with Lipschitz coefficients, we introduce techniques for giving improved estimates of the critical set ??(u)u {x :|δu|(x) = 0}, as well as the first estimates on the effective critical set ??r(u), which roughly consists of points x such that the gradient of u is small somewhere on Br(x) compared to the nonconstancy of u. The results are new even for harmonic functions on ?n. Given such a u, the standard first‐order stratification {lk} of u separates points x based on the degrees of symmetry of the leading‐order polynomial of u‐u(x). In this paper we give a quantitative stratification of u, which separates points based on the number of almost symmetries of approximate leading‐order polynomials of u at various scales. We prove effective estimates on the volume of the tubular neighborhood of each , which lead directly to (n‐2 + ?)‐Minkowski type estimates for the critical set of u. In this paper, we present a transform-based algorithm for pricing discretely monitored arithmetic Asian options with remarkable accuracy in a general stochastic volatility framework, including affine models and time-changed Lévy processes. The accuracy is justified both theoretically and experimentally. In addition, to speed up the valuation process, we employ high-performance computing technologies. More specifically, we develop a parallel option pricing system that can be easily reproduced on parallel computers, also realized as a cluster of personal computers.
