The 3d electronic states of transition-metal Mn dopants in Ga1?xMnxN have been investigated by Mn L-edge X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) measurements. Through the XAS analysis, the valence of the Mn ions is determined. With the increase of doping concentration, the integrated intensities of L2,3 vary not monotonously, but increase first and then decrease. The relationship between the Mn doping concentration and the degree of p–d hybridization is discussed.  相似文献

This is the first report on an AlN/diamond heterojunction field effect transistor (HFET). The AlN epilayer is grown on oxygen‐terminated (111) diamond substrates using metalorganic vapor phase epitaxy at a temperature as high as 1240 °C. The transistor and gate capacitance–voltage characteristics indicate that the HFET behaves as a p‐channel FET with a normally‐on depletion mode. The HFET channel is located at the AlN/diamond interface, and holes are accumulated in diamond close to the interface. Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) mediates the biology of wound healing, apoptosis, inflammation, etc. H2O2 has been fluorometrically imaged with protein‐ or small‐molecule‐based probes. However, only protein‐based probes have afforded temporal insights within seconds. Small‐molecule‐based electrophilic probes for H2O2 require many minutes for a sufficient response in biological systems. Here, we report a fluorogenic probe that selectively undergoes a [2,3]‐sigmatropic rearrangement (seleno‐Mislow‐Evans rearrangement) with H2O2, followed by acetal hydrolysis, to produce a green fluorescent molecule in seconds. Unlike other electrophilic probes, the current probe acts as a nucleophile. The fast kinetics enabled real‐time imaging of H2O2 produced in endothelial cells in 8 seconds (much earlier than previously shown) and H2O2 in a zebrafish wound healing model. This work may provide a platform for endogenous H2O2 detection in real time with chemical probes.  相似文献

Effects of light irradiation on growth processes in the initial stage of growth of Ge films on (100)Si substrates by gas source molecular beam epitaxy using GeH4 have been investigated by in-situ RHEED observations. It has been found that the growth rate is enhanced by an Ar+ ion laser and a D2 lamp irradiation, and, moreover, that the growth process sequence of the Ge films irradiated by the Ar+ laser and D2 lamp is the same as that without irradiation. The irradiation effect on the photolysis of GeH4 gas has been examined by mass spectroscopy. The increase of the growth rate is due to the photolysis of GeH4 and the excitation of substrate surfaces by vacuum-ultraviolet light in the D2 lamp irradiation, and is due to only the excitation of substrate surfaces in the Ar+ laser irradiation.  相似文献

Square‐millimeter‐sized free‐floating translucent films are formed in physiological buffer by multiway connections between biotinylated collagen‐like triple‐helical peptides and avidin. Although the compositions of the films are almost constant, regardless of the ratios of the components loaded, their thicknesses can be controlled by the concentrations of the components. The film surfaces can be further modified by taking advantage of exposed biotin (or avidin) functionalities. The self‐assembled films could serve as novel materials in biomedical and biosensing applications.  相似文献

The synthesis of side chain-type polyurethanes is described. Their thermal properties were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry and polarizing microscopy and are discussed in terms of the dependence of the polymer backbone on temperature as shown by FT-infrared spectroscopy. The hydrogen bonding which arises from the rather flexible polymer backbone plays a more important role in determining the thermal stability than does the rigid polymer backbone.  相似文献
