Let X be a connected Riemann surface equipped with a projective structure . Let E be a holomorphic symplectic vector bundle over X equipped with a flat connection. There is a holomorphic symplectic structure on the total space of the pullback of E to the space of all nonzero holomorphic cotangent vectors on X. Using , this symplectic form is quantized. A moduli space of Higgs bundles on a compact Riemann surface has a natural holomorphic symplectic structure. Using , a quantization of this symplectic form over a Zariski open subset of the moduli space of Higgs bundles is constructed.  相似文献

This paper describes extensive computer-based analytical studies on the details of unsteady flow behavior around airfoils subjected to flow induced vibration in turbo-machinery. To consider the time-dependent motions of airfoils, a complete Navier-Stokes solver incorporating a moving mesh based on an analytic solution of motion equation for airfoil translation and rotation was applied. The drag and lift coefficients for the cases of stationary airfoils and airfoils subjected to flow induced vibration were examined. From the numerical results in non-coupling case as out of consideration of the airfoil motion, it was found that the separation vortex consisted of large-scale rolls with axes in the span direction, and rib substructures with axes in the stream direction. In the coupling simulation including the airfoil motion, both the translation and the rotation displacement were gradually increased when the airfoil translation and rotation natural frequencies synchronize exactly with the oscillation frequency of the fluid force. In addition, the transformation from complex structure with rolls and ribs to two-dimensional aspect of only rolls could be visualized in three-dimensional simulation.  相似文献

A simples-channel resonance model based on dominance of peripheral resonances is proposed. It explains the appearance of exotic peaks with slopes similar to those of forward scattering amplitudes. The interaction radiusR plays a significant role in determining the slope and dip structure.  相似文献

The solution of a difference equation in the form of an infinite continued fraction is used to obtain a class of exact solutions for the eigenfunctions and eigenvalues of doubly anharmonic oscillators described by potentials of the type (1/2)2x2+(1/4)x4+(1/6)x6, n>0, provided certain constraints on the couplings are satisfied. We consider the dynamics of a particle in a parametric oscillator with a view to exploring any quantum feature of the initial wave packet that shows divergent (in time) behaviour for parameter values where the classical motion dynamics of the mean position is bounded. We use Ehrenfest's theorem to explore the dynamics of nth order moment which reduces exactly to a linear non autonomous differential equation of order n+1. It is found that while the width and skewness of the packet is unbounded exactly in the zones where the classical motion is unbounded, the kurtosis of an initially non-gaussian wave packet can become infinitely large in certain additional zones. This implies that the shape of the wave packet can change drastically with time in these zones.  相似文献

Renormalized fixed-point Hamiltonians are formulated for systems described by interactions that originally contain point-like singularities (as the Dirac-delta and/or its derivatives). Recent developments in the study of nonlinear phenomena have led to the realization that a combination of the concepts of integrability, geometry and topology provides a new powerful framework for describing a great variety of physical systems. It was therefore felt that the compilation of a special issue comprising articles on the interdiseiplinary topic of Geometry, Integrability and Nonlinearity in Condensed Matter Physics, would indeed be timely. The enthusiastic response and support that we received from the active researchers in this subject, when we organized an International Conference on the above topic from July 15 to July 20, 2001, in Bansko, Bulgaria, provided a further motivation for undertaking this task. As the topic is interdisciplinary in nature, the articles in this volume contain new results on a wide range of subjects. These include among others, integrable equations and the interplay between geometry and nonlinearity, the role of optical solitons in communication. (and, possibly, computation), common nonlinear and geometrical aspects of condensed matter, field theory, and so on. The increasingly important role played by geometry and topology in diverse areas such as the quantum Hall effect, localization, deformation and elasticity, quasiparticle kinetics and dynamics, spin systems, membranes, is highlighted in some of the articles. There are papers in which essential links of nonlinearity to differential geometry are identified and many elegant mathematical methods are presented. Some other articles focus on how the mathematical tools of geometry and nonlinear analysis can be applied to solve certain physical problems. Given the vast range of titles, it was difficult to strictly divide the contributions into distinct categories. Except for the pedagogical introductory article by Rajaraman titled "CP N Solitons in Quantum Hall Systems", which essentially "sets the stage" for the various themes covered, we have grouped the articles broadly under the following headings: Geometry, integrability and mathematical physics; Solitons: Interaction phenomena, nonlinear optics; Condensed matter physics; Soft condensed matter physics; Quantum phenomena. We gratefully acknowledge the support from Los Alamos National Lab, USA; Université de Cergy-Pontoise, France; The Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics, Trieste, Italy and the Institute for Nuclear Research and Nuclear Energy, Sofia, Bulgaria, in putting this special volume together. We believe that the cross-fertilization and synergy of a host of ideas in seemingly disparate fields of physics would lead to the natural emergence of new paradigms, which in turn could pave the way for collaborative research to arrive at new solutions of complex nonlinear problems. It is our hope that this topical issue will be useful in providing an impetus for achieving this broad objective. Here we consider our universe as inhomogeneous spherically symmetric Lema [^(i)]{\hat{i}} tre−Tolman−Bondi Model and analyze the thermodynamics of this model of the universe. The trapping horizon is calculated and is found to coincide with the apparent horizon. The Einstein field equations are shown to be equivalent with the unified first law of thermodynamics. Finally assuming the first law of thermodynamics validity of the generalized second law of thermodynamics is examined at the apparent horizon for the perfect fluid and at the event horizon for holographic dark energy.  相似文献
