The construction of pointlike localized charged fields from conformal Haag—Kastler nets

Starting from a chiral conformal Haag-Kastler net on two-dimensional Minkowski space we construct associated charged pointlike localized fields which intertwine between arbitrary superselection sectors with finite statistics of the theory. This amounts to a proof of the Spin-Statistics theorem, the PCT theorem and the existence of operator product expansions.This Letter generalizes similar results of a recently published paper by Fredenhagen and the author from the neutral vacuum sector to the the full theory with arbitrary charge and finite statistics.     

Isometric motions of a relativistic simple fluid

Some properties characterising the isometric motion of a relativistic simple fluid are pointed out. Corresponding to several state equations, the barometric formulas of the fluid are obtained. Finally the particular case of an incopressible fluid, from the relativistic point of view [3], is considered.

This paper reviews methods which have been proposed for solving global optimization problems in the framework of the Bayesian paradigm.     

Regularity of multivariate vector subdivision schemes

In this paper we discuss methods for investigating the convergence of multivariate vector subdivision schemes and the regularity of the associated limit functions. Specifically, we consider difference vector subdivision schemes whose restricted contractivity determines the convergence of the original scheme and describes the connection between the regularity of the limit functions of the difference subdivision scheme and the original subdivision scheme.
