Solar System tests give nowadays constraints on the estimated value of the cosmological constant, which can be accurately derived from different experiments regarding gravitational redshift, light deflection, gravitational time-delay and geodesic precession. Assuming that each reasonable theory of gravitation should satisfy Solar System tests, we use these limits on the estimated value of the cosmological constant to constrain extended theories of Gravity, which are nowadays studied as possible theories for cosmological models and provide viable solutions to the cosmological constant problem and the explanation of the present acceleration of the Universe. We obtain that the estimated values, from Solar System tests, for the parameters appearing in the extended theories of Gravity are orders of magnitude bigger than the values obtained in the framework of cosmologically relevant theories.  相似文献

The characteristics of optical bistability in quantum dot vertical cavity semiconductor optical amplifier integrated with MEMS membrane have been investigated, and a closed-form model is derived taking into account the effect of the quantum dot discrete states and the membrane deflection and reflectivity. We show that small membrane deflection significantly adjusts the resonant wavelength, the contrast ratios and the hysteresis width. The shape of the input–output characteristics of the device can be adjusted to display clockwise, butterfly and counterclockwise hysteresis loops depending on the membrane deflection and the initial wavelength detuning. Our analysis reveals that the contrast ratios of the upper and lower bistable levels are totally different. Also, it has been shown that the characteristics of the bistability are strong function of the active layer linewidth enhancement factor and the membrane reflectivity.  相似文献

This paper presents the optimal conditions for the ultraviolet laser percussion drilling of alumina materials intended for use in heat sinks. The Taguchi method and grey relational analysis, along with the consideration of multiple quality characteristics, were applied for determining the optimal parameters. The entrance diameter and taper angle of the drilled hole were affected by the material processing parameters, including laser power, pulse duration, focal plane position, and number of pulses. The Taguchi method and grey relational analysis were used for assessing the effects of the operational parameters on multiple performance characteristics. Nine experiments based on an orthogonal array were performed. According to the results, the optimal process parameters were as follows: laser energy density, 3.82 J/cm2; focal plane position, 0.1 mm; number of pulses, 20 shots; and single pulse duration, 3 ms. Analysis of the grey relational grade revealed that the focal plane position was the most dominant parameter.  相似文献

The perovskite-type Ba- and Ti/Nb-doped (Ba0.15Sr0.85)(B0.15Co0.85)O3 ? δ (B = Ti, Nb) oxides were synthesized successfully by the solid-state reaction method. Crystal structure, elemental compositions, and oxygen nonstoichiometry of the as-synthesized (Ba0.15Sr0.85)(B0.15Co0.85)O3 ? δ (B = Ti, Nb) oxides were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy-energy dispersive spectrometry (SEM-EDS), inductively coupled plasma (ICP)-atomic emission spectrometry, thermogravimetry (TG), and iodometric titration. XRD results demonstrate that the as-obtained (Ba0.15Sr0.85)(B0.15Co0.85)O3 ? δ (B = Ti, Nb) oxides possess purely cubic perovskite-type structures. The temperature-swing oxygen sorption/desorption properties of the as-synthesized (Ba0.15Sr0.85)(B0.15Co0.85)O3 ? δ (B = Ti, Nb) perovskite-type oxides were studied by the dynamic TG. Results show that the structural stability of the co-doped (Ba0.15Sr0.85)(B0.15Co0.85)O3 ? δ (B = Ti, Nb) oxides is improved greatly, and the high oxygen sorption capacity for the perovskite-type (Ba0.15Sr0.85)(B0.15Co0.85)O3 ? δ (B = Ti, Nb) oxides is also obtained between 300 and 950 °C in air.  相似文献

The Na x Li1-x CdVO4 (x = 0.5, 1) orthovanadates were prepared using a solid-state reaction method. The x-ray diffraction patterns (XRDP) of both materials reveal the formation of the Na2CrO4 structure. Vibrational study confirms the existence of [VO4]3? group. Electrical measurements of our compounds have been investigated using complex impedance spectroscopy (CIS) in the frequency and temperature range 209 Hz–1 MHz and 589–703 K, respectively. Nyquist plots reveal the presence of tow contributions, an equivalent circuit was proposed. DC conductivity shows electrical conduction in the material as a thermally activated process. The AC conductivity is explained using the non-overlapping small polaron tunneling (NSPT) conduction mechanism. A relationship between crystal structure and ionic conductivity was established and discussed.  相似文献

In this paper, Mg-doped ZnO nanoparticles were synthesized by the facile sol–gel method. The crystalline structure, characteristic absorption bands and morphology of the obtained Mg-doped ZnO nanoparticles were studied by XRD, FTIR and TEM. The thermal degradation behaviour of the samples was investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermogravimetry (TG). The effect of Mg concentrations and annealing temperatures on the antibacterial properties of the obtained nanoparticles was investigated in detail. The results indicated that doping Mg ions into ZnO lattice could enhance its antibacterial activity. Antibacterial assay demonstrated that Mg-doped ZnO with 7% Mg content annealed at 400 °C had the strongest antibacterial activity against Listeria monocytogenes (98.7%). This study indicated that the inhibition rate of ZnO nanoparticles increased with the formation of granular structure and the decrease of ZnO size due to the doping of Mg ions into the ZnO lattice.  相似文献

The problem of coronal heating remains one of the greatest unresolved problems in space science. Magnetic reconnection plays a significant role in heating the solar corona. When two oppositely directed magnetic fields come closer to form a current sheet, the current density of the plasma increases due to which magnetic reconnection and conversion of magnetic energy into thermal energy takes place. The present paper deals with a model for reconnection occurring in the solar corona under steady state in collisionless regime. The model predicts that reconnection time in the solar corona varies inversely with the cube of magnetic field and varies directly with the Lindquist number. Our analysis shows that reconnections are occurring within a time interval of 600 s in the solar corona, producing nanoflares in the energy range 10 21–10 23 erg /s which matches with Yohkoh X-ray observations.  相似文献

The partition function of an N=2{\mathcal {N}=2} gauge theory in the Ω-background satisfies, for generic value of the parameter b = -e1/e2{\beta=-{\epsilon_1}/{\epsilon_2}} , the, in general extended, but otherwise β-independent, holomorphic anomaly equation of special geometry. Modularity together with the (β-dependent) gap structure at the various singular loci in the moduli space completely fixes the holomorphic ambiguity, also when the extension is non-trivial. In some cases, the theory at the orbifold radius, corresponding to β = 2, can be identified with an “orientifold” of the theory at β = 1. The various connections give hints for embedding the structure into the topological string.  相似文献

In this work, ZnO nanorod/Cu2O composite nanostructure solar cells were prepared using hydrothermal growth and electrodeposition. The CdS layer was added between ZnO and Cu2O to suppress carrier reverse recombination. Nondestructive interface deposition methods were employed to prepare CdS and Cu2O functional layers. The CdS layers were unconventionally deposited in non-alkaline solution, which can inhibit etching on the ZnO surface, and Cu2O layers were electrodeposited in ZnO-buffered alkaline solution which can also inhibit etching on the ZnO surface. Finally, the performance of solar cells was improved by adding a highly resistive CdS intermediate layer between ZnO and Cu2O layers. This work demonstrated the nondestructive interface approach of chemical solution deposition of functional layers on ZnO and possibilities for further improvements to the performance of Cu2O-based nanostructure solar cells with the addition of an intermediated layer.  相似文献

In this paper, the stationary probability distribution (SPD) function and the mean first passage time (MFPT) are investigated in a tumor growth model driven by non-Gaussian noise which is introduced to mimic random fluctuations in the levels of the immune system. Results demonstrate the different transitions induced by the strength of non-Gaussian noise under different immune coefficients and the dual roles of non-Gaussian noise in promoting host protection against cancer and in facilitating tumor escape from immune destruction. Additionally, it can be discovered that increases in noise strength, the degree of departure from Gaussian noise, and the immune coefficient can accelerate the extinction of tumor cells. Numerical simulations are performed, and their results present good agreement with the theoretical results.  相似文献
