Six materials were used as an interlayer at the anode side (anode interlayer [AIL]) of an archetypical planar heterojunction organic solar cell (OSC). In addition to two conventional wide bandgap hole transport materials (HTMs), tris(4‐carbazol‐9‐ylphenyl)amine ( TCTA ) and trans‐4,4′‐bis[N‐(naphthalen‐1‐yl)‐N‐phenylamino]stilbene ( NPAE ), we explore four narrow bandgap materials, bis(biphenylaminospiro)‐fumaronitrile ( PhSPFN ), bis(N‐(naphthalen‐1‐yl)‐N‐phenylamino)anthraquinone ( NPAAnQ ), bis‐(di(2‐fluorophenyl)aminospiro)‐fumaronitrile ( FPhSPFN ), and bis[4‐(N‐(pyren‐1‐yl)‐N‐phenylamino)phenyl]fumaronitrile ( PyPAFN ), the energy levels of which essentially align with the ones of SubPc, the active light‐absorbing material of the OSC study herein. By using a narrow bandgap AIL, universally enhanced short‐circuit current density and power conversion efficiencies (PCEs) have been achieved. In addition, one of these materials, FPhSPFN , results in a PCE of 5.13%, which is the highest reported value for SubPc solar cells with a similar architecture. This is ascribed to the formation of an otherwise passive exciton‐blocking interface. Furthermore, this demonstrates that charge selectivity by way of a high‐lying lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) energy level is not a prerequisite for successful AIL design. As such, in terms of energy level alignment and bandgap energies, we establish a viable alternative approach toward interface and interlayer material design.  相似文献

In this paper we introduce a metal mesh evanescent wave coupler that makes use of evanescent wave coupling between a metal mesh and a dielectric plate, as a quasi-optical component for millimeter and submillimeter wavelengths. The transmission properties of this type of couplers have been investigated experimentally and theoretically for both capacitive and inductive metal meshes in the frequency range from 40 GHz to 60 GHz. The transmittance of a capacitive metal mesh evanescent wave coupler can be adjusted more than 70% by changing the spacing between the capacitive mesh and the silicon plate less than 0.15 mm at around 57 GHz.  相似文献

The conversion of succinyl-coenzyme A (CoA) into methylmalonyl-CoA, catalyzed by adenosylcobalamin-dependent methylmalonyl-CoA mutase (MCM), represents an important source of building blocks for rifamycin SV biosynthesis. The structural gene for MCM from rifamycin SV—producing strain Amycolatopsis mediterranei U32 was isolated by using a heterologous gene probe encoding the MCM of Streptomyces cinnamonensis. A 7.8-kbp fragment was sequenced and four complete open reading frames (ORFs) and two incomplete ORFs were found. Two central ORFs, ORF3 and ORF4, overlap by four nucleotides and were found to encode MCM small (602 residues) and large (721 residues) subunits, respectively. Comparison showed that the MCM gene of A. mediterranei U32 was quite similar to those from other sources. The functionally unknown ORF5, immediately downstream of the mut AB gene, was quite similar to the ORFs downstream of mut AB from S. cinnamonensis and Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Such a striking cross-species conservation of gene order suggested that ORF5 could also be involved in the metabolism of methylmalonyl-CoA. MCM gene was overexpressed in Escherichia coli under T7 promoter, and MCM activity could be detected in the recombinant E. coli clone harboring MCM gene after the addition of coenzyme B12. A purification procedure based on the B12 affinity column was established to purify the MCM from E. coli. The molecular weight of purified MCM from E. coli was determined by sodium dodecyl sulfate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, which corresponds to that calculated from the MCM protein sequence and is also the same size as that of the enzyme purified directly from A. mediterranei U32. MCM gene was overexpressed in polyketide monensin producing S. cinnamonensis, and the total monensin production was increased by 32%. Both authors contributed equally to this paper.  相似文献

A dispersion-convolution model is proposed for simulating peak shapes in a single-line flow injection system. It is based on the assumption that an injected sample plug is expanded due to a "bulk" dispersion mechanism along the length coordinate, and that after traveling over a distance or a period of time, the sample zone will develop into a Gaussian-like distribution. This spatial pattern is further transformed to a temporal coordinate by a convolution process, and finally a temporal peak image is generated. The feasibility of the proposed model has been examined by experiments with various coil lengths, sample sizes and pumping rates. An empirical dispersion coefficient (D*) can be estimated by using the observed peak position, height and area (tp*, h* and At*) from a recorder. An empirical temporal shift (Phi*) can be further approximated by Phi*=D*/u2, which becomes an important parameter in the restoration of experimental peaks. Also, the dispersion coefficient can be expressed as a second-order polynomial function of the pumping rate Q, for which D*(Q)=delta0+delta1Q+delta2Q2. The optimal dispersion occurs at a pumping rate of Qopt=sqrt[delta0/delta2]. This explains the interesting "Nike-swoosh" relationship between the peak height and pumping rate. The excellent coherence of theoretical and experimental peak shapes confirms that the temporal distortion effect is the dominating reason to explain the peak asymmetry in flow injection analysis.  相似文献

Ceramic hollow fibre membranes which have an asymmetric structure have been prepared in one step, using an immersion induced phase inversion technique. With this method, membranes with a high surface area per unit volume ratio can be produced, while production cost is dramatically reduced. Yttria-stabilised zirconia (YSZ) is selected as a membrane material, as it is relatively inexpensive and has superior mechanical strength as well as oxygen ion conducting properties. Therefore, both the porous and non-porous membranes prepared from the YSZ have potential applications. For example, the porous YSZ membranes can be used for fluid separations in harsh environments where normal polymeric membranes cannot be sustained, while the non-porous YSZ membranes can be applied as a solid electrolyte in electrochemical devices such as solid oxide fuel cells, oxygen pumps and chemical gas sensors.Gas permeation analysis suggests that non-porous YSZ hollow fibre membranes can be prepared at sintering temperature of 1400 °C or greater, below which the membrane contains pores. Pore sizes of the YSZ porous membrane prepared fall into the pore size range of ultrafiltration membranes. However, the surface porosities of the membranes prepared from two-population sized particles at sintering temperatures of 1200 °C and 1400 °C are around 5000 m−1 and 300 m−1, respectively. The former is comparable to polymeric membranes, while the latter is an order of the magnitude smaller.  相似文献

We reconsider the consequences of the observed violations of Bell's inequalities. Two common responses to these violations are (i) the rejection of realism and the retention of locality and (ii) the rejection of locality and the retention of realism. Here we critique response (i). We argue that locality contains an implicit form of realism, since in a worldview that embraces locality, spacetime, with its usual, fixed topology, has properties independent of measurement. Hence we argue that response (i) is incomplete, in that its rejection of realism is only partial.  相似文献
