The structures of Nafion membranes prepared by solutions casting from low aliphatic alcohols/water mixture solvents and N,N′‐dimethyl formamide (DMF) solvent were investigated using differential scanning calorimeter and small angle X‐ray scattering. The aggregation behavior of Nafion molecules in the casting solutions was also investigated using dynamic light scattering. We show that the morphology of membranes was strongly influenced by the conformations of Nafion molecules in the solutions. In aliphatic alcohol/water mixture solvents, which have a worse compatibility with Nafion backbones, the Nafion molecules aggregate and form fringed rod‐like structures. These primary rod‐like structures then aggregate again through fringed side chains to form secondary ionic aggregations. In DMF solvent, owing to its better compatibility with Nafion backbones, less Nafion molecules aggregate. The high degree of Nafion molecular aggregations in aliphatic alcohol/water mixture solvents leads to a high degree of hydrophobic and hydrophilic phase separation for membranes prepared by casting from Nafion/aliphatic alcohol/water solutions. However, the lower degree of molecular aggregations in DMF solvent results in a lower degree of hydrophobic and hydrophilic phase separation for membranes prepared by casting from Nafion/DMF solution. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The prime graph \(\Delta (G)\) of a finite group \(G\) is a graph whose vertices are the primes which divide the degrees of some irreducible complex characters of \(G\) and two distinct primes \(p\) and \(q\) are joined by an edge if the product \(pq\) divides some character degree of \(G\) . In this paper, we determine the upper bounds for the numbers of vertices of the prime graphs of finite groups which possess a small number of triangles. In some cases, we study the structure of such finite groups and their prime graphs in detail.  相似文献

An ion pair HPLC method which can simultaneously detect the major metabolites of an exocrine pancreatic function testing agent (NBT-PABA) in plasma and urine has been developed. This assay has been applied to a pharmacokinetic study of PABA and its metabolites in 3 healthy adult volunteers following the oral administration of 1 g NBT-PABA. The 6 h testing period currently used to collect urine following the NBT-PABA ingestion is adequate for the recovery of PABA and its metabolites. Plasma determination of these compounds may provide an improved evaluation of the pancreatic performance in patients with abnormal liver or kidney function.  相似文献

20-Deoxoluteone has been synthesized from sclareol. Sclareol was brominated with phosphorus tribromide to form a mixture of primary allyl bromides, from which, by the malonic synthesis, a mixture of bicyclogeranylgeranylacetic acids was obtained which was cyclized with fluorosulfonic acid to form a mixture of two diastereomeric δ-lactones. The predominating lactone was converted by successive reduction with lithium tetrahydroaluminate, oxidation with oxalyl chloride in dimethyl sulfoxide, reaction with methylmagnesium iodide, and oxidation by the chromium trioxide/pyridine complex into 20-deoxyluteone. Lately, profile monitoring has received considerable attention in the statistical process control research field. This paper proposes a novel monitoring framework for the reflow process data, which uses two goodness‐of‐fit criteria to select the change points in the mixture polynomial model. Among change points, the mixture second‐order polynomials are utilized to piecewisely approximate the nonlinear profile data of the reflow process. The well‐known Hotelling T2 and proposed EWMA4 control charts are then employed to monitor the parameter estimates. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed monitoring framework presents better performances in detecting outlying profiles than the conventional methods in phase I. Enhanced lithium electrochromic performances of mixed organo-tungsten oxide (W x O y C z )/organo-molybdenum oxide (Mo x O y C z ) films by a rapid codeposition onto 40 Ω/□ flexible polyethylene terephthalate/indium tin oxide substrates at a short exposed duration of 23 s using an atmospheric pressure plasma jet (APPJ) at various mixed concentrations of hexacarbonyl precursors [W(CO)6 and Mo(CO)6] are investigated. The flexible organo-tungsten–molybdenum oxide (WMo x O y C z ) films demonstrated noteworthy electrochromic performance for 200 cycles of reversible Li+ ion intercalation and deintercalation in a 1 M LiClO4–propylene carbonate electrolyte by the switching measurements of potential sweep from ?1 to 1 V at a scan rate of 50 mV/s and the potential step at ?1 and 1 V, even after being bent 360o around a 2.5-cm diameter rod for 1,000 cycles. The optical modulation (ΔT) of 61.3 % for MoO y C z films at a wavelength of 795.6 nm was significantly improved up to 72.5 % for WMo x O y C z films cosynthesized with an APPJ.  相似文献
