The nuclear spin–lattice relaxation and Knight shift of 71Ga, 69Ga, and 115In nuclei in a ternary liquid gallium–indium–tin alloy of the eutectic composition, which was introduced into pores of an opal matrix and porous glasses with pore sizes of 18 and 7 nm, have been investigated and compared with those for the bulk melt. It has been found that longitudinal relaxation is accelerated and the Knight shift is decreased, depending on the size of pores. The correlation time of the atomic motion has been calculated for the nanostructured melt in porous matrices. It has been shown that the atomic mobility in the melt decreases with decreasing size of pores in the glasses.

Dielectric properties of CeF3 crystals doped by aluminum, erbium, and holmium were studied in the temperature range of 290–450 K and frequency range of 25 Hz-1 MHz. Cole-Cole diagrams are constructed. An equivalent circuit consisting of a resistance, capacitance and CPE element is suggested for interpretation of the obtained results. Ionic movement parameters are determined as dependent on the temperature. An acoustooptic method was used to measure ultrasound attenuation in the frequency range of 200–800 MHz.  相似文献

Nanoparticles of complex titanium, cobalt, and manganese oxides with ilmenite and spinel structure have been synthesized in pores of an opal. The particle composition has been determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. The magnetic properties of the obtained nanocomposites with different particles embedded in pores have been studied. The temperature dependences of the dc and ac magnetizations in the range from 2 to 300 K have been measured. It has been shown that the magnetic ordering in all the nanocomposites studied emerges at temperatures above 150 K, which not in all cases can be related directly to the properties of the materials identified by X-ray diffraction. The appearance of peaks in the ZFC susceptibility and ac magnetization curves below 50 K is assigned to disordering and frustration in nanoparticles of titanates of the type of CoTiO3, NiTiO3, and Co2TiO4.  相似文献

This paper reports on a comparative study of phase transitions in nanocomposites made up of KNO3 embedded in 10-μm-thick MCM-41 films with unidirectional pores 4.0 nm in size on an aluminum substrate and of nanocomposites prepared in the form of potassium-nitrate-filled pressed MCM-41 powders with 3.7-nm pores. The temperature dependences of linear permittivity and the amplitude of third harmonic generation have been measured under heating and cooling. The structural transition from phase II to phase I shifts under heating relative to that occurring in bulk KNO3 toward lower temperatures for potassium nitrate in the film and toward higher temperatures for the pressed MCM-41-based nanocomposite. A significant difference has been observed also within the region of existence of ferroelectric phase III. The data obtained suggest that the shifts of phase transition temperatures observed in the conditions of nanoconfinement are influenced markedly not only by pore size and geometry but also by other factors.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

The present work aims at investigating linear and nonlinear dielectric properties of nanocomposites based on diisopropylammonium bromide (C6H16NBr, DIPAB) embedded into Al2O3 films having honeycomb structure with pores of 100?nm in diameter, and into opal matrices with three-dimensional structure containing pores of 100 and 60?nm. The obtained results indicated the shift of Curie point toward lower temperatures for DIPAB in porous aluminum oxide and the appearance of two phase transitions, detected upon heating and cooling for DIPAB in opal matrices. In addition, a ferroelectric phase was found to form between these two phase transitions without significant change of Curie temperature.  相似文献

NMR studies were carried out on three isotopes, 71Ga, 69Ga, and 115In, in liquid gallium-indium (Ga–In) alloy embedded into porous glasses with 200 and 5 nm pore sizes at two magnetic fields, 9.4 and 17.6 T. Spin-lattice relaxation and the Knight shift were found to depend on pore size. For porous glass with 5 nm pores the relaxation rate was field-dependent which evidenced that the extreme narrowing limit was no longer valid. Magnetization recovery data were used to evaluate the correlation times of atomic mobility and the quadrupole constants under nanoconfinement.  相似文献

The temperature dependences of the linear dielectric permittivity, the third harmonic amplitude, and the heat capacity of nanoporous silica matrices MCM-41 with cellular channels (3.7 and 2.6 nm in diameter) filled with KNO3 have been investigated in comparison with those obtained for bulk potassium nitrate. Measurements have been performed during heating and cooling in the range from room temperature to 463 K. Anomalies corresponding to structural phase transitions have been observed. A significant broadening of the temperature region of the existence of the ferroelectric phase III of potassium nitrate upon cooling has been revealed. This broadening increases with a decrease in the size of pores. It has been shown that, in the nanocomposites with potassium nitrate, the ferroelectric phase can also be formed during heating. The efficiency of observation of the third harmonic generation for studying nanocomposites with the ferroelectric phase has been demonstrated.  相似文献

NMR studies of 125Te in the topological insulator bismuth telluride Bi2Te3 in a wide temperature range from room temperature to 12.5 K are performed. The pulsed NMR spectrometer Bruker Avance 400 is applied. The NMR spectra are obtained for the powder from Bi2Te3 single crystal and monocrystalline plates with the orientations c || B and cB. At room temperature, the spectra consist of two lines related to two nonequivalent positions of tellurium nuclei Te1 and Te2. The parameters of the NMR frequency shift tensor are found from the powder spectrum. The temperature dependences of the spectra for the powder and plates with the orientation c ⊥ B agree with each other. The line shift with decreasing temperature is explained by the reduction of the Knight shift. The thermal activation energy of charge carriers is estimated. The spectra for the plates with the orientation c || B demonstrate peculiar behavior below 91 K. The spin-lattice relaxation time for the powder and monocrystalline plates with both orientations at room temperature is measured.  相似文献
