Synthesis and Crystal Structure of the known Zintl Phases Cs3Sb7 and Cs4Sb2 Cs3Sb7 and Cs4Sb2 were synthesized from the elements and their crystal structures were determined on the basis of single crystal x‐ray data. Cs3Sb7 crystallizes in the monoclinic system with space group P21/c (a = 1605.7(1) pm, b = 1571.1(1) pm, c = 2793.9(2) pm, β = 96.300(2)°, Z = 16) and contains anions Sb73–. In the structure of Cs4Sb2 (orthorhombic, space group Pnma, a = 1598.5(3) pm, b = 631.9(2) pm, c = 1099.5(2) pm, Z = 4) dumbbells Sb24– are present.  相似文献

Six ruthenium atoms are coordinated to the naphthalene-1,8-diyl ligand in the cluster [Ru6(CO)14(C10H6)(PPh)] through two Ru−C σ bonds, two η2, and two η3 interactions (section of structure depicted on the right). Objective and motivation

Intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) allows in vivo invasive intra-luminal real-time examination of the arterial wall structure. In this study, we aimed to validate for the first time the in vivo IVUS performing as a diagnostic tool by comparison to the well-established histomorphometry approach, in the largely used rat model of carotid angioplasty model that mimics the angioplasty procedure in humans.

Methods

Atherosclerotic lesions were allowed to develop during four weeks after balloon catheter inflation of the left carotid artery, whereas the intact right carotid artery was used as control. Four weeks after injury, a Boston Scientific 40 MHz device to perform IVUS exams in vivo on both carotid arteries. Then, both carotid arteries were examined in vitro by histomorphometry and correlation between IVUS and histomorphometric parameters (plaque plus media cross-sectional areas [CSA] and eccentricity index) were researched.

Results

After ANOVA analysis, comparative statistical analysis showed significant correlations between IVUS and histomorphometry when examining the intact right carotid artery (r = 0.662 with p < 0.003 for plaque plus media CSA; r = 0.774 with p < 0.002 for eccentricity index), but also when exploring the injured left carotid artery (r = 0.805 with p < 0.0001 for plaque plus media CSA; r = 0.775 with p < 0.002 for eccentricity index).

Conclusions and outcome

We report here for the first time the ability of IVUS to study therapeutic vascular effects in vivo in alive rats. This result is of major importance since it will allow this device to be used for restenosis drug testing in rat model of carotid angioplasty.  相似文献

An easy preparation of mono-deprotected thioglucopyranosides via a selective Candica cylindracea lipase-catalyzed hydrolysis of a commercially available peracetylated precursor is described. Especially, ethyl 2,3,4-tri-O-acetyl-1-thio-β-d-glucopyranoside and ethyl 2,3,6-tri-O-acetyl-1-thio-β-d-glucopyranoside were obtained in 100% and 54% isolated yields, respectively. The influence of the ratio of [bmim]PF6/buffer toward the regioselectivity of the deacetylation step and the acyl migration is discussed.  相似文献

We report the synthesis of telechelic poly(norbornene) and poly(cyclooctene) homopolymers by ring‐opening metathesis polymerization (ROMP) and their subsequent functionalization and block copolymer formation based on noncovalent interactions. Whereas all the poly(norbornene)s contain either a metal complex or a hydrogen‐bonding moiety along the polymer side‐chains, together with a single hydrogen‐bonding‐based molecular recognition moiety at one terminal end of the polymer chain. These homopolymers allow for the formation of side‐chain‐functionalized AB and ABA block copolymers through self‐assembly. The orthogonal natures of all side‐ and main‐chain self‐assembly events were demonstrated by 1H NMR spectroscopy and isothermal titration calorimetry. The resulting fully functionalized block copolymers are the first copolymers combining both side‐ and main‐chain self‐assembly, thereby providing a high degree of control over copolymer functionalization and architecture and bringing synthetic materials one step closer to the dynamic self‐assembly structures found in nature.  相似文献

In this study, a new modulator that is simple, robust and presents low operation costs, was developed. This modulator uses compressed air to cool two small portions in the first centimeters of the second chromatographic column of a comprehensive multidimensional gas chromatography (GC × GC) system. The results show a variation in the peak area less than 3 and 5% to alkanes and pesticides, respectively. The standard deviations for the retention times in the first and second dimension are around 0.05 min and 0.05 s for all the compounds. The system was optimized with n-alkanes. The GC × GC system proposed was applied in the determination of pyrethroid pesticides (bifenthrin, cypermethrin, deltamethrin, fenvalerate, esfenvalerate, cis- and trans-permethrin) in grape samples. Samples were extracted by the mini-Luke modified method and pesticides were quantified by comprehensive multidimensional gas chromatography with micro electron-capture detection (μECD). The values of method limit of quantification (LOQ) were 0.01–0.02 mg kg−1 for all studied pyrethroid and the values of recovery were between 94.3 and 115.2%, with good precision (RSD < 18.4%), demonstrating that the performance of the total method consisting of a modified Luke extraction method and determination by GC × GC-μECD are satisfactory. This study also showed that the system using a modulator with a double jet of compressed air has the potential for application in the analysis of a wider range of pesticide residues in other commodities since it provides low values of LOQ with acceptable accuracy and precision.  相似文献
