A local trimer orbital ordering model of LiNiO2 was studied by means of theoretical calculation and experimental measurement of electron structure factors. Based on the trimer model, the electron structure factors were calculated by using the scattering factor of non-spherical Ni3+ ion. From these results, it is found that the effect of local orbital ordering on the electron structure factors of several subtle reflections, such as (202) and (107), is very large. The electron structure factors of these subtle reflections were measured by quantitative convergent beam electron diffraction method. The experimentally measured electron structure factor values of these reflections indicate that the trimer orbital ordering model is more close to the true structure of LiNiO2. 相似文献

This paper reports that Goos--H\"anchen (GH) shifts
occurring on a symmetrical metal-cladding waveguide are
experimentally identified. It was found that there exists a critical
thickness of the upper metal layer, h_cr, above which negative
shift is observed and, reversely, positive shift occurs. Both
positive and negative GH shifts near the critical thickness do not vary
dramatically and can achieve a maximum on the submillimeter scale, which
is different from simulated results using the stationary-phase
method. It also shows that this critical thickness, h_cr, can be
obtained at the position for zero reflectivity by setting the
intrinsic damping to be the same as the radiative damping. The GH
effects observed near the critical thickness are produced by extreme
distortion of the reflected beam profiles, which limits the
amplitude of the GH shift and, further, the sensitivity of the GH optical
sensor based on the symmetrical metal-cladding waveguide. 相似文献

Ca0.54Sr0.34−1.5xEu0.08Smx(MoO4)y (WO4)1−y red phosphors were prepared by solid-state reaction using Na+ as a charge compensator for light-emitting diodes (LED). The effects of Na+ concentration, synthesis temperature, reaction time and Eu3+ concentration were studied for the properties of luminescence and crystal structure of red phosphors. The results show that the optimum reaction condition is 6%, 900 °C, 2 h and 8%. The photoluminescence spectra show that red phosphors are effectively excited at 616 nm by 292, 395 and 465 nm. The wavelengths of 465 nm nicely match the widely applied emission wavelengths of blue LED chips. 相似文献

对p型掺杂13 μm InAs/GaAs量子点激光器的最大模式增益进行了实验和理论分析.实验上,测量了不同腔长激光器阈值电流密度与总损耗的对应关系,拟合出的最大模式增益为175 cm-1,与相同结构非掺杂量子点激光器的最大模式增益一致.同时理论分析表明,p型掺杂对InAs/GaAs量子点激光器的最大模式增益并无影响,并且最大模式增益的计算结果与实验值相符.具有较小高度或高宽比的量子点能达到更高的最大模式增益,而较高的最大模式增益对p型掺杂13 μm InAs/GaAs自组织量子点激光器在光通信系统中的应用具有重要意义.

The generation of dual-wavelength domain-wall rectangular-shape pulses in a highly nonlinear fiber (HNLF)-based fiber ring laser is experimentally demonstrated. The dual-wavelength lasing operation is realized by employing the intracavity birefringence-induced spectral filtering effect. An 85 m long HNLF is introduced into the fiber ring laser to enhance the nonlinear effect, which is favorable for the cross coupling between the two lasing beams. Experimentally, it was found that the interval of two domain walls in the time domain could be adjusted by simply tuning the linear cavity phase delay, which results in the achievement of different output pulse shapes. By properly rotating the polarization controller (PC), the dual-wavelength rectangular-shape pulses could be efficiently obtained. By using the first-principles calculation based on density functional theory, we investigate the electronic structures and transport properties of the defected and doped zigzag graphene nanoribbons (ZGNRs). The effects of multivacancies defects and impurities have been considered. The results show that band structures of ZGNRs can be tuned strongly and currents drop drastically due to the defect and impurities. Moreover, the notable suppression of conductance can be found near the Fermi level, leading to the negative differential resistance (NDR) behavior under low bias.
