Summary: Enzyme-catalyzed synthesis of biopolymers is a growing area of green chemistry because the exquisite selectivity and control of the polymer structure allowed by the enzymatic synthesis. In addition, the metal traces of chemical catalysts are avoided, being this feature particularly useful in biomedical applications. Lipases are remarkable catalysts and they are efficient in the synthesis of several kinds of biopolymers. However, one of the limitations of the industrial application of lipase-catalyzed polymerizations is the cost of commercial immobilized lipases. To overcome this drawback, in this work we present some cheap and simple strategies to produce and obtain immobilized lipases, as well as some examples of biopolymer synthesis using these tailored lipases.  相似文献

The sonophotocatalytic degradation of basic blue 9 industrial textile dye has been studied in the presence of ultrasound (20 kHz) over a TiO(2) slurry employing an UV lamp (15 W, 352 nm). It was observed that the color removal efficiency was influenced by the pH of the solution, initial dye concentration and TiO(2) amount. It was found that the dye degradation followed apparent first order kinetics. The rate constant increased by decreasing dye concentration and was affected by the pH of the solution with the highest degradation obtained at pH 7. The first order rate constants obtained with sonophotocatalysis were twofold and tenfold than those obtained under photocatalysis and sonolysis, respectively. The chemical oxygen demand was abated over 80%.  相似文献

The fracture of thick laminated graphite/epoxy composites has been the subject of an extensive research program. The program was divided into three major areas of investigation which included laminate thickness, laminate stacking sequence, and part-through surface flaws. The results from this program are reviewed with emphasis placed on their applicability to the design of thick laminated composite structures. Paper was presented at 1985 SEM Spring Conference on Experimental Mechanics held in Las Vegas on June 9–14, 1985.  相似文献

研究了二氧化硅悬浮体的流变性。在固体含量较少的情况下, 体系呈Newton型;固体含量达到一定程度以后, 产生三维结构, 为假塑性体系。三维结构的固体含量与pH值有关。实验证实, 在等电点(i,e, p)附近三维结构最为疏松。还研究了水解聚丙烯酰胺(HPAM)对悬浮体流变性能的影响。HPAM破坏了二氧化硅粒子聚集体结构, 呈絮凝体结构, 并出现触变性。当高聚物在固体表面覆盖一半时, 具有最大触变性和动剪切力。HPAM的水解度达到一定程度, 由于对固体粒子由“强”吸附转变为“弱”吸附, 固体粒子“屏蔽”了高分子间的相互作用, 出现了负触变性现象。在流动时粒子会脱附, 静止以后又产生吸附, 这种吸附与脱附是产生负触变性的主要原因。HPAM水解过度或用量过多, 均会减弱负触变性现象。  相似文献

An equation was derived to calculate the surface density of trimethylsilyl groups (alphaTMS) on bonded chromatographic stationary phases that have undergone primary as well as secondary ('end-capping') chemical modification. The new equation is an extension of that published by Berendsen-de Galan for calculating primary surface coverage and, likewise, alphaTMS is calculated in terms of the carbon content (% by weight) of the bonded material before and after end-capping, specific surface area of the starting silica and structural information (molecular weight and number of carbon atoms) of the anchored groups. The new equation is valuable when a thorough characterization of bonded stationary phases is desirable and, if used along with the Berendsen-de Galan equation, it affords total ligand coverage information. Application of the new equation to correct for measurable carbon content of the starting support leads to a more accurate expression for surface coverage from primary as well as secondary bonding. The scope and limitations of the new equation are discussed.  相似文献

In this work, the effective interaction between hard sphere colloidal particles in the presence of a hard sphere solvent, both dispersed either in a disordered quenched matrix of hard spheres or in the random matrix of freely overlapping obstacles is analyzed, using the replica Ornstein-Zernike (ROZ) integral equations. The ROZ equations are supplemented by the hypernetted chain closure. The presence of either disordered or random matrix is manifested in the attractive minima of the colloid-colloid potential of mean force (PMF), in addition to a set of minima due to the presence of solvent species. The effects of matrix microporosity and solvent density on the PMF and the intercolloidal forces are investigated. Given a compact boundaryless Riemannian manifold that admits a Riemannian foliation, recall that the space of leaf closures is a singular stratified space. Associated to this space is an operator called the basic Laplacian defined on the space of smooth functions that are constant on the leaves (and, hence, the closures of the leaves of the foliation). The corresponding basic spectrum is, under certain assumptions, an infinite subset of the spectrum of the ordinary laplacian. If the metric is bundle-like with respect to the foliation, the trace of the basic wave operator can be analyzed, and invariants of the basic spectrum can be computed. These invariants include the lengths of certain geodesic arcs which are orthogonal to the leaf closures, and from them, basic wave trace asymptotic expansions are derived. Using the connection between Riemannian foliations and manifolds being acted upon by a compact Lie group of isometries, $G$ , the wave trace for the $G$ -invariant spectrum of a $G$ -manifold is sketched out as a related result.  相似文献
