The interfacial behavior of the newly designed Fluorocarbon Hydrocarbon Cationic Lipid (FHCL or CH(3)(CH(2))(17)N(+)(C(2)H(5))(2)(CH(2))(3)(CF(2))(7)CF(3)I(-)) and its mixtures with a phospholipid (DPPC, Dipalmitoylphosphatidylcholine) at different mole fractions were investigated. This new molecule was synthesized to mimic the selected properties of lung surfactant, which is a natural lipid-protein mixture which is known to play important roles in the process of respiration, by considering the structure/function relation of lung surfactant protein (SP-C). Each segment in the molecular structure was selected to affect the molecular level interaction at the interface whereas the keeping the overall structure as simple as possible. The surface pressure area isotherms obtained for the mixtures of DPPC/FHCL indicated that there was repulsive interaction between DPPC and FHCL molecules. Due to the molecular level interaction, specifically at mole fraction 0.3, the isotherm obtained from that mixture resembled the isotherm obtained from the DPPC monolayer in the presence of SP-C. High elasticity of the interface was one of the important parameters for the respiration process, therefore, shear and dilatational elasticities of two-component systems were determined and they were found to be similar to the case where SP-C protein is present. Fluorescence microscopy images were taken in order to investigate the monolayer in details. The FHCL was able to fluidize the DPPC monolayer even at high surface pressures effectively. In addition, the cyclic compression-expansion isotherms were obtained to understand the spreading and re-spreading ability of the pure FHCL and the mixed DPPC/FHCL monolayers. At a specific mole fraction, X(FHCL)=0.3, the mixture exhibited good hysteresis in area, compressibility, recruitment index and re-spreading ability at the interface. All these results point out that FHCL can fulfill the selected features of the lung surfactant that are attributed to the presence of SP-C protein when mixed with DPPC, even if the molecular structure of the FHCL is quite simple.  相似文献

The electrochemical behavior of atorvastatin and amlodipine at a glassy carbon electrode has been studied using different voltammetric techniques. First derivative of the ratio voltammetric methods for determination of amlodipine and atorvastatin in tablets in the presence of the other compound has been described. This technique depends on the measuring of first derivative of the ratio voltammograms of each concentration as a function of the increased concentrations. DP and SW voltammetric methods depend on first derivative of the ratio‐voltammetry by measurements of the selected potentials for amlodipine and atorvastatin. The linear response was within the range of 4×10?6–1×10?4 M for amlodipine and 2×10?6–1×10?4 M for atorvastatin. The proposed methods have been extensively validated.  相似文献

Poly(vinyl alcohol)‐pyrene‐anti‐metadherin (PVA‐Py‐(Anti‐MTDH)), a novel antibody based water soluble probe containing both fluorescent and target sites in the structure for in vitro imaging of breast cancer cells is reported here. Since breast cancer cells have an excess of MDTH protein expressed on the surface, a PVA‐Py prepared by “Click chemistry” approach is targeted by Anti‐MTDH antibody and applied to the MCF‐7 cell line. After characterization, the designed architecture was evaluated in terms of cell incorporation efficiency and compared with a non‐targeted structure (PVA‐Py). Atomic force microscopy (AFM) and fluorescence microscopy images of cells after incubation of the probe molecules were also obtained to monitor the interaction of the probes with the cancerous cells.

In situ steady-state fluorescence (SSF) measurement technique was applied to investigation of pyrene labeled Poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA-Py) molecules diffusion in and out of agarose gels. Gel samples with four different concentration of agarose were prepared. PVA-Py was synthesized by "click" chemistry method and dissolved in water to use in diffusion experiments. The results were analyzed by using Fickian type diffusion model, and it was found that sorption and desorption processes of PVA-Py molecules in and out of agarose gel have two distinct regions for short and long diffusion times. Sorption and desorption coefficients were measured and it was seen that the diffusion rates were much larger at short times and at lower agarose concentrations.  相似文献

A sensitive electroanalytical method for the determination of anticancer drug etoposide (ETP) using adsorptive stripping differential pulse voltammetry (AdSDPV) at a multi-walled carbon nanotube-modified glassy carbon electrode (MWCNT-modified GCE) is presented. The surface morphology of modified electrode was characterized by scanning electron microscopy. The effects of accumulation time and potential, pH, scan rate, and amount of MWCNT suspension were investigated. The calibration curve was linear in the concentration range of 2.0?×?10?8–2.0?×?10?6 M with the detection limit of 5.4?×?10?9 M. The reproducibility of the peak current was found at 1.55 % (n?=?5) RSD value in pH 6.0 Britton–Robinson buffer for the MWCNT-modified GCE. The method was then successfully utilized for the determination of ETP in pharmaceutical dosage form, and a recovery of 99.55 % was obtained. The possible oxidation mechanism of ETP was also discussed. The proposed electroanalytical method using MWCNT-modified GCE is the most sensitive method for the determination of ETP with lowest limit of detection in the previously published electrochemical methods.  相似文献

Cumulative capacitated vehicle routing problem (CCVRP) is an extension of the well-known capacitated vehicle routing problem, where the objective is minimization of sum of the arrival times at nodes instead of minimizing the total tour cost. This type of routing problem arises when a priority is given to customer needs or dispatching vital goods supply after a natural disaster. This paper focuses on comparing the performances of neighbourhood and population-based approaches for the new problem CCVRP. Genetic algorithm (GA), an evolutionary algorithm using particle swarm optimization mechanism with GA operators, and tabu search (TS) are compared in terms of required CPU time and obtained objective values. In addition, a nearest neighbourhood-based initial solution technique is also proposed within the paper. To the best of authors’ knowledge, this paper constitutes a base for comparisons along with GA, and TS for further possible publications on the new problem CCVRP.  相似文献
