Various approaches to the preparation and verification of single-molecule single crystals are discussed for polyethylene and poly (oxyethylene). Analytic tools are electron microscopy, electron diffraction, and differential scanning calorimetry. The main difficulty in producing a single-molecule single crystal is to keep crystals from joining during growth.  相似文献

Zinc phosphites ZnPHO3·2.5 H2O, Zn2H2P3H3O9·H2O, Zn3H4P5H5O15·1.5 H2O, ZnH2H2P2H2O6 have been studied at higher temperatures and by X-rays and molecular spectroscopy. Hydrates ZnPHO3·2.5 H2O and Zn2H2P3H3O9·H2O, when heated, yield an anhydrous salt. Thermal decomposition of dihydrogen triorthophosphite and tetrahydrogen pentaorthophosphite leads, before oxidation of the anion, to a mixture of zinc phosphite ZnPHO3 and dihydrogen diorthophosphite ZnH2P2H2O6 and then after loss of water of constitution dihydrogen diorthophosphite converts to zinc diphosphite ZnP2H2O5. The results of the thermal decomposition study were confirmed by X-ray investigation. Anhydrous zinc dihydrogen triorthophosphite Zn2H2P3H3O9 and zinc diphosphite ZnP2H2O5 were hitherto unknown. Infrared spectra confirmed the existence of hydrogen bonding in all the phosphites studied and in the case of zinc phosphite ZnPHO3·2.5 H2O exhibited a symmetry decrease of the anion PHO3 2– from the point group C3v to Cs. In the crystal lattice of ZnPHO3·2.5 H2O hydrogen bonding by water molecules participates, with polyorthophosphites hydrogen bonding shares in the production of anions and in the case of their hydrates there is in addition hydrogen bonding by water molecules.

A highly efficient direct injection on-line guard cartridge extraction/tandem mass spectrometry (DI-GCE/MS/MS) method has been validated for high-throughput evaluation of cytochrome P450 (CYP) 3A4, 2D6 and 2E1 inhibition potential via cassette dosing of midazolam, dextromethorphan and chlorzoxazone using human hepatic microsomes and 96-well microtiter plates. Microsomal incubations were terminated with formic acid, centrifuged, and the resulting supernatants were injected for analysis by DI-GCE/MS/MS. Due to the novel use of an extremely short C(18) guard cartridge (4 mm in length), this method exhibits several advantages such as no sample preparation, excellent on-line extraction, short run time (2.5 min), and minimized source contamination and performance deterioration. The DI-GCE/MS/MS method demonstrates acceptable accuracy and precision for the simultaneous quantification of 1'-hydroxymidazolam, dextrorphan and 6-hydroxychlorzoxazone in microsomal incubations. The inhibition potential of CYP3A4, 2D6 and 2E1 has been evaluated using their known selective inhibitors. The IC(50) values measured by the cassette dosing approach (high-throughput) are consistent with those observed by an individual dosing regimen (conventional) and are all in good agreement with the literature values. The results suggest that the cassette probe-dosing strategy may provide an in vitro approach to minimize cost while maximizing throughput of CYP inhibition evaluation of new chemical entities in support of drug discovery and development.  相似文献

The adsorption and thermal decomposition of ketene on Si(l 11)-7 × 7 were investigated using various surface analysis techniques. When the surface was exposed to ketene at 120 K, two CO stretching modes at 220 and 273 meV appeared in HREELS, corresponding to two adsorbed ketene states. After the sample was annealed at ?250 K, the 273 and the 80 meV peaks vanished, indicating the disappearance of one of the adsorption states by partial desorption of the adsorbate. In a corresponding TPD measurement, a desorption peak for ketene species was noted at 220 K. Annealing the sample at 450 K caused the decomposition of the adsorbate, producing CHx and O adspecies. Further annealing of the surface at higher temperatures resulted in the breaking of the CH bond, the desorption of H and O species and the formation of Si carbide. The desorption of H at 800 K was confirmed by the appearance of the D2 (m/e = 4) TPD peak at that temperature when CD2CO was used instead of CH2CO.  相似文献

Several new dinitritochromium(III) complexes of the type trans-[Cr(L)(ONO)(2)]BF(4), where L is a derivative of the macrocyclic ligand cyclam having pendant aromatic chromophores attached (L = 5,7-dimethyl-6-(substituted)-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane), have been prepared and characterized. Photoexcitation of aqueous solutions containing these complexes at wavelengths corresponding to the pendant chromophore absorption bands led to the generation of NO as detected by an electrochemical sensor. Photophysical data show that the expected fluorescence of the pendant chromophores is largely quenched when the macrocyclic ligand is coordinated to these Cr(III) centers, and this is interpreted in terms of fast energy transfer processes from the ligand-centered pipi states to the Cr(III)-centered ligand field states leading to subsequent cleavage of the Cr(III)-coordinated nitrito ligand. Thus, the chromophores tethered to the coordinated cyclam serve as light-gathering antennae for the intramolecular sensitization of the NO-generating photoreactions at the metal center.  相似文献

Pyridoxal 5′-phosphate (PLP) is the active form of vitamin B6, but it is highly reactive and poisonous in its free form. YggS is a PLP-binding protein found in bacteria and humans that mediates PLP homeostasis by delivering PLP to target enzymes or by performing a protective function. Several biochemical and structural studies of YggS have been reported, but the mechanism by which YggS recognizes PLP has not been fully elucidated. Here, we report a functional and structural analysis of YggS from Fusobacterium nucleatum (FnYggS). The PLP molecule could bind to native FnYggS, but no PLP binding was observed for selenomethionine (SeMet)-derivatized FnYggS. The crystal structure of FnYggS showed a type III TIM barrel fold, exhibiting structural homology with several other PLP-dependent enzymes. Although FnYggS exhibited low (<35%) amino acid sequence similarity with previously studied YggS proteins, its overall structure and PLP-binding site were highly conserved. In the PLP-binding site of FnYggS, the sulfate ion was coordinated by the conserved residues Ser201, Gly218, and Thr219, which were positioned to provide the binding moiety for the phosphate group of PLP. The mutagenesis study showed that the conserved Ser201 residue in FnYggS was the key residue for PLP binding. These results will expand the knowledge of the molecular properties and function of the YggS family.  相似文献

提出了一种将光场显微镜与裸眼三维显示技术相结合的方法,实现了利用光场显微镜对微观样品进行三维裸眼实时观察的技术。该技术将光场显微镜得到的子图像阵列直接投影在微透镜阵列的焦平面上,在空间一定区域内双眼可分别观看到两幅不同视角图像,使观察者产生立体视觉。该系统具有结构简单,无需相干光源,无需佩戴特殊眼镜,可多人同时观看等优点,应用前景广泛。  相似文献

We present a measurement of the ratio of events with correlated t and t ?t spins to the total number of t ?t events. This ratio f is evaluated using a matrix-element-based approach in 729 t ?t candidate events with a single lepton ? (electron or muon) and at least four jets. The analyzed p ?p collisions data correspond to an integrated luminosity of 5.3 fb(-1) and were collected with the D0 detector at the Fermilab Tevatron collider operating at a center-of-mass energy √s=1.96 TeV. Combining this result with a recent measurement of f in dileptonic final states, we find f in agreement with the standard model. In addition, the combination provides evidence for the presence of spin correlation in t ?t events with a significance of more than 3 standard deviations.  相似文献

The Coulomb glory effect in the back scattering of antiprotons with energies of from 100 eV to 3 keV from a bare nucleus of uranium and from uranium ions with closed shells is considered in terms of nonrelativistic and relativistic quantum theory. The appearance of Coulomb glory in collisions with multiply charged ions is caused by nucleus charge screening by filled electron shells. In scattering from a bare nucleus, the effect appears because of the screening properties of the vacuum polarization potential.  相似文献
