Optically active seleno- and telluro amino acids can be synthesized from serine via its β-lactone with selenides and tellurides under overall retention of the serine stereochemistry. Boc-protected l-selenolanthionine, l-tellurolanthionine, l-selenocystine, l-tellurocystine and l-tellurocysteine derivatives can be obtained in good yields.  相似文献

Herein, a greener approach to the eosin Y-Na2 catalyzed, C(sp2)−H bond azo coupling of imidazoheteroarene with aryl diazonium salts is described, under acid free conditions. This direct photoredox process resulted in the corresponding azo products in good to excellent yields. Besides, this new approach could also be applicable to anilines, which is a poorly reactive substrate by other methods. The main features of this reaction are that it provides high yields and is gram-scalable and applicable to biologically relevant imidazoheteroarenes and -anilines.  相似文献

Structural power composites stand out as a possible solution to the demands of the modern transportation system of more efficient and eco-friendly vehicles. Recent studies demonstrated the possibility to realize these components endowing high-performance composites with electrochemical properties. The aim of this paper is to present a systematic review of the recent developments on this more and more sensitive topic. Two main technologies will be covered here: (1) the integration of commercially available lithium-ion batteries in composite structures, and (2) the fabrication of carbon fiber-based multifunctional materials. The latter will be deeply analyzed, describing how the fibers and the polymeric matrices can be synergistically combined with ionic salts and cathodic materials to manufacture monolithic structural batteries. The main challenges faced by these emerging research fields are also addressed. Among them, the maximum allowable curing cycle for the embedded configuration and the realization that highly conductive structural electrolytes for the monolithic solution are noteworthy. This work also shows an overview of the multiphysics material models developed for these studies and provides a clue for a possible alternative configuration based on solid-state electrolytes.  相似文献

We have investigated the more stable structures for small gold clusters, Aun (2≤ n ≤ 6), using the density functional theory method. Two functionals used in the literature, the well-known B3LYP and M06-L, were compared with the one that has not been used for this system yet, M08-SO, and the results for dimer were compared with experimental data. It was found that M08-SO gives the best results for the effective core potential and basis set tested. Therefore, the functional M08-SO was used for other structures. The planar geometries were found to have the lowest energies. After the geometry optimization, Mulliken populational analysis (MPA) and natural populational analysis (NPA) were carried out and the results for charge distribution in gold trimer and tetramer were compared with data found in literature. The MPA calculation does not give results in agreement with the literature. On the other hand, the NPA calculation gives coherent data. The results showed that the charge distribution will not always predict the more favorable site of interaction.  相似文献

Five new polymorphs and one hydrated form of 2‐thiobarbituric acid have been isolated and characterised by solid‐state methods. In both the crystalline form II and in the hydrate form, the 2‐thiobarbituric molecules are present in the enol form, whereas only the keto isomer is present in crystalline forms I (reported in 1967 by Calas and Martinex), III , V and VI . In form IV , on the other hand, a 50:50 ordered mixture of enol/keto molecules is present. All new forms have been characterised by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction, 1D and 2D (1H, 13C, and 15N) solid‐state NMR spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy and X‐ray powder diffraction at variable temperature. It has been possible to induce keto–enol conversion between the forms by mechanical methods. The role of hydrogen‐bond interactions in determining the relative stability of the polymorphs and as a driving force in the conversions has been ascertained. To the best of the authors’ knowledge, the 2‐thiobarbituric family of crystal forms represents the richest collection of examples of tautomeric polymorphism so far reported in the literature.  相似文献

The importance of conidial pigmentation to solar UV radiation tolerance in the entomopathogenic fungus Metarhizium anisopliae var. anisopliae, was estimated by comparing the effects of exposure to simulated solar UV radiation on the wild-type parent strain U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA)-Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Collection of Entomopathogenic Fungal Cultures (ARSEF) 23, which has dark green conidia, and three groups of color mutants with yellow, purple and white conidia. The comparisons included inactivation levels and the kinetics of germination of conidia exposed or not exposed to simulated solar UV radiation. In addition to significantly inactivating the conidia of different mutants, exposure to radiation delayed for several hours the germination of surviving conidia of the wild type and all mutants. In general, mutants with white conidia were more sensitive to simulated solar UV radiation than mutants with purple conidia, which were more sensitive than mutants with yellow conidia, which in turn were more sensitive than the green wild strain. A significant variation in tolerance to simulated solar radiation was observed among mutants within each color group, particularly among mutants with yellow conidia. Revertants with green conidia, DWR 179 and DWR 176, were obtained from the very sensitive UV mutants DWR 148 (yellow conidia) and DWR 149 (purple conidia), respectively. These revertants had levels of tolerance to simulated solar UV radiation similar to those of the wild-type ARSEF 23. This observation is strong evidence of the importance of green conidial pigmentation for tolerance to simulated solar UV radiation, a factor that could be manipulated to produce M. anisopliae strains with more tolerance to solar UV radiation.  相似文献
