Summary In the study of the effect of polydispersity and assumed distribution on functional dependence of light scattering transmission methods the principal inconvenience in application of Stevenson-Heller-Wallach distribution was found. But logarithmic distribution of negative order gave logically running system of working curves characteristic for the specific turbidity and turbidity ratio methods.
