Tetrahydrobiopterin (BH4) is an essential cofactor for aromatic acid hydroxylases and nitric oxide synthase. Sepiapterin reductase (SPR) catalyzes the final steps of BH4 biosynthesis. Studies on SPR from several insects and other organisms have been reported. However, thus far, enzyme activity of SPR in Musca domestica is kept unknown. In this study, 186 differentially expressed genes including SPR gene from Musca domestica (MDSPR) were screened in subtractive cDNA library. The MDSPR gene was cloned, and the recombinant MDSPI16 protein was expressed as a 51-kDa protein in soluble form. The MDSPR exhibited strong activity to the substrate sepiapterin (SP). The values of Vmax and Km of the MDSPR for SP were 6.83 μM/min and 23.48 μM, and the optimum temperature and pH of MDSPR were 50 °C and 4.0, respectively. This study provides new hypotheses and methods for the production of BH4 using insect-derived SPR.  相似文献

Based on the Keggin-type polyoxometalate and quaternary phosphonium salt, the (MePh3P) n -POMKeggin compounds were synthesized via one-step mechanochemical process at room temperature. It showed the advantages of convenient operation, lower cost, less pollution, and mass production. Wonderfully, the morphology of compounds presented a strong dependence on the number of crystal water in the source heteropoly acids. A hypothesis of ‘semi-solid nonlocalized waters’ was brought to discuss the formation mechanism of polyhedrons. Antibacterial experiments indicate that the samples have good antibacterial activities, which resulted from the increase of the positive electrical charge of the phosphonium cation caused by the polarization by POM groups. Additionally, a formula of inhibitory zone per unit surface area was designed to more precisely evaluate the antibacterial activity of the materials. The calculation result indicated that the polyhedral particles give a higher surface antibacterial activity than the grain powder. This work developed an alternative synthesis method for composites from a new perspective, and will promote the research of new type of antibacterial agent.  相似文献

XOR-based visual cryptography scheme (XVCS) was proposed to solve the poor visual quality problem without darkening the background in the reconstructed secret image. However, investigations on XVCS are not sufficient. In this paper, we focus on the traditional model of VCS for general access structures and exploit some extended capabilities for XVCS. Our main contributions are: (1) we put forward constructions of perfect contrast XVCS using the linear algebraic technique without any assumptions such as participants may carry multiple shares or prior information about the shares are to be submitted during the secret reconstruction phase; (2) for some restricted access structures, we achieve perfect contrast and perfect pixel expansion, namely both 1, which is impossible for any OR-based visual cryptography scheme (OVCS); (3) for general access structures, we achieve perfect contrast with smaller pixel expansion compared with many of the results in the literature; (4) Theoretical analysis on the proposed constructions are provided, as well as extensive experimental results and comparisons for demonstrating the effectiveness and advantages of our constructions.  相似文献

There is a gap in the proofs of both Propositions 3 and 4 in the correspondence “Queue-Proportional Rate Allocation with Per-Link Information in Multihop Wireless Networks,” previously published in the Queueing Systems (see Li and Srikant 2016). We filled this gap in the proofs for the multihop networks (see Li and Srikant in Queueing Syst 84:203–210, 2016), where each route at most has two links. An unexpected ring-contraction from benzo[b]pyrazino[1,2-d][1,4]thiazine-1,4-diones (6) to benzo[4,5]thiazolo[3,2-a]pyrazine-1,4-diones (7) has been developed. The preliminary mechanistic studies showed the transformation contained two independent steps: the first step is the formation of a Michael adduct upon the addition of the protic solvent, in the presence of base, to the C-2-C-3 double bond of compound 6, and the second step is a ring-contraction induced by oxygen via the migration of sulfur atom from C-2 to C-3 position. The authors describe a zinc(II) benzenetricarboxylate (Zn-BTC) based metal-organic framework (MOF) with chrysanthemum-like structure, and its application to the adsorption of pesticides from real water samples. The Zn-BTC MOF was characterized by XRD, TGA, SEM, nitrogen adsorption-desorption analysis and FT-IR spectroscopy. The MOF was used in dispersive solid-phase extraction of six aromatic pesticides from various wastewater samples prior to their quantification by HPLC. Extraction times, extraction temperature, amount of adsorbent, and oscillation rate were optimized. Under the optimal conditions, the method has relative standard deviations (RSDs) of 6.1–10.1%, and good linearity (correlation coefficients higher than 0.9974). The LODs and LOQs for seven pesticides are found to be 0.20–1.60 μg·L?1 and 0.66–5.28 μg·L?1, respectively. The RSDs of within batch extraction are 1.6–9.5% and 3.9–12%.

The enthalpies of solution of the cyclic ethers 1,4-dioxane, 12-crown-4 and 18-crown-6 in mixtures of ethanol and water have been measured within the whole mole fraction range at T = 298.15 K. The enthalpy of solvation has been calculated. In pure ethanol and pure water, the solvation enthalpy of the investigated cyclic ethers depends linearity on the number of –CH2CH2– groups in the cyclic ether molecules. Based on the analysis of the preferential solvation model proposed by Waghorne, it can be concluded that the 1,4-dioxane, 15C5 and 18C6 molecules are preferentially solvated by water molecules in the range of low water content in these mixtures. The effect of base–acid properties of ethanol–water mixtures on the enthalpy of solution of cyclic ethers in these mixtures has been analyzed. The enthalpy of solution of cyclic ethers correlates with the acidic properties of ethanol–water mixtures in the range of high and medium water content. The results presented are compared with analogous data obtained for the methanol–water and propan-1-ol–water mixtures.  相似文献

To enhance catalytic activity and durability for methanol oxidation reaction (MOR), we have fabricated bimetallic Pt–Fe catalysts on carbon fiber papers (denoted as Pt–Fe@CFP) by a facile chemical reduction method using iron as the precursor, ascorbic acid and sodium hypophosphite as the reductants, respectively. When ascorbic acid is using as the reductant, the Pt–Fe@CFP catalysts are composed of platinum and disordered Pt–Fe phases. The atomic ratio between Pt and Fe can be adjusted by altering deposition conditions. The Pt–Fe@CFP catalysts with Pt/Fe ratio of 1.1, which deposited with surfactant CTAB in bath at room temperature, exhibit excellent catalytic activity and stability in MOR. However, when sodium hypophosphite is employed as the reductant, the co-deposition of phosphorus would lead to a decreased catalytic performance in MOR.  相似文献

Fuchs called a partially-ordered integral domain, say D, division closed if it has the property that whenever a > 0 and ab > 0, then b > 0. He showed that if D is a lattice-ordered division closed field, then D is totally ordered. In fact, it is known that for a lattice-ordered division ring, the following three conditions are equivalent: a) squares are positive, b) the order is total, and c) the ring is division closed. In the present article, our aim is to study \({\ell}\)-rings that possibly possess zerodivisors and focus on a natural generalization of the property of being division closed, what we call regular division closed. Our investigations lead us to the concept of a positive separating element in an \({\ell}\)-ring, which is related to the well-known concept of a positive d-element.  相似文献
