Bianchi type V perfect fluid models with source-free electromagnetic fields

The Einstein-Maxwell Field equations characterizing a nontitled Bianchi type V perfect fluid model with source-free electromagnetic field are solved exactly in the nonlocally rotationally symmetric case. It is found that these equations admit one and only one exact solution, expressible, however, in terms of two arbitrary functions.     

Supersymmetric SU C (4) × SU L (2) × SU R (2) and spontaneous breakdown of symmetries

A supersymmetric version of the left right symmetric partial unification group SU _C (4) × SU _L (2) × SU _R (2) is presented. The spontaneous breakdown of gauge symmetry in a favourable chain of descent has been studied in detail. The mass spectra have been calculated. The method of O’Raifeartaigh has been used to break supersymmetry. The lifting of degeneracy of mass levels between physical multiplets has been shown to occur due to radiative corrections.     

Copper-catalyzed oxidative synthesis of 2-oxo-acetamidines from one-pot three-component reaction of aryl methyl ketones,secondary amines and anilines

Some novel 2-oxo-acetamidines were synthesized via one-pot three-component reaction of acetophenones, secondary amines and anilines in presence of CuI as catalyst. The reaction involved in a oxidation process of C (sp³)H bonds of acetophenones in presence of air followed by aminations, and products were obtained in good to excellent yields (70–82%) in simple work-up procedure.     

Observation of X(3872)→J/ψγ and search for X(3872)→ψ'γ in B decays

We report a study of B→(J/ψγ)K and B→(ψ'γ)K decay modes using 772×10? B ?B events collected at the Υ(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB energy-asymmetric e(+)e(-) collider. We observe X(3872)→J/ψγ and report the first evidence for χ(c2)→J/ψγ in B→(X_{c ?cγ)K decays, while in a search for X(3872)→ψ'γ no significant signal is found. We measure the branching fractions, B(B(±)→X(3872)K(±))B(X(3872)→J/ψγ)=(1.78(-0.44)(+0.48)±0.12)×10(-6), B(B(±)→χ(c2)K(±))=(1.11(-0.34)(+0.36)±0.09)×10(-5), B(B(±)→X(3872)K(±))B(X(3872)→ψ'γ)<3.45×10? (upper limit at 90% C.L.), and also provide upper limits for other searches.     

Microwave promoted diastereoselective synthesis of dihydroindeno[1,2-b]furans via one-pot three-component reaction in solvent-free conditions

An efficient method was developed for the synthesis of fused dihydroindeno[1,2-b]furans. One-pot three-component reaction of 1,3-indanedione, aromatic aldehyde and pyridinium ylide in the presence of triethylamine under microwave-irradiation in solvent-free conditions afforded dihydroindeno[1,2-b]furans in a diastereoselective manner in excellent yields.
