Herein we present the first double deprotonation of acetonitrile (CH3CN) using two equivalents of a bimetallic iron-aluminium complex. The products of this reaction contain an exceeding simple yet rare [CHCN]2− dianion moiety that bridges two metal fragments. DFT calculations suggest that the bonding to the metal centres occurs through heavily polarised covalent interactions. Mechanistic studies reveal the intermediacy of a monomeric [CH2CN]− complex, which has been characterised in situ. Our findings provide an important example in which a bimetallic metal complex achieves a new type of reactivity not previously encountered with monometallic counterparts.[1, 2] The isolation of a [CHCN]2− dianion through simple deprotonation of CH3CN also offers the possibility of establishing a broader chemistry of this motif. 相似文献

Certain behaviors of some material are characterized by the periodic bar and joint elements. We present a kinematic, geometric and graph theoretic connected model that describes the stability, rigidity property of these rhombic tiling materials in two dimensions. Cables, struts or rods are placed as bracing elements between opposite pairs of diagonal joints, to prevent the rhombic tiling from the rotation of the bars around their common joint. We characterize the rigidity of the finite parts of the rhombic bracing structure in the plane. The results of this paper are based on the theorem of the rigidity of one-dimensional tensegrity framework from Recski and Shai. We have applied our results to describe some auxetic type structures that were mentioned earlier in the scientific literature. We also introduce the model as a possible candidate for the mechanical information processing system in a repetitive bar and joint structure. 相似文献

This work presents the synthesis of six new phase-transfer organocatalysts in which the squaramide unit is directly linked to the nitrogen atom of an aza-crown ether. Four chiral skeletons, namely hydroquinine, quinine, cinchonine (cinchonas), and α-d-glucopyranoside were responsible for the asymmetric construction of an all-carbon quaternary stereogenic center in α-alkylation and Michael addition reactions of malonic esters. We investigated the effects of these different chiral units and that of crown ethers with different sizes on catalytic activity and enantioselectivity. During extensive parameter investigations, both conventional and emerging green solvents were screened, providing valuable α,α-disubstituted malonic ester derivatives with excellent yields (up to 98%). 相似文献

Efficient Lewis-acid-catalyzed direct conversion of aldehydes to 1,2-diketones in the liquid phase was enabled by using newly designed and developed ceria–zirconia-based high-entropy oxides (HEOs) as the actual catalysts. The synergistic effect of various cations incorporated in the same oxide structure (framework) was partially responsible for the efficiency of multicationic materials compared to the corresponding single-cation oxide forms. Furthermore, a clear, linear relationship between the Lewis acidity and the catalytic activity of the HEOs was observed. Due to the developed strategy, exclusively diketone-selective, recyclable, versatile heterogeneous catalytic transformation of aldehydes can be realized under mild reaction conditions. 相似文献

Thyroid autoimmunity in Graves’ disease (GD) is accompanied by Graves’ orbitopathy (GO) in 40% of the cases. Orbital fibroblasts (OF) play a key role in the pathogenesis and cigarette smoking is a known deteriorating factor. Alongside conventional cigarettes (CC) new alternatives became available for smokers, including heated tobacco products (HTP) and E-cigarettes (ECIG). We aimed to study the cellular effects of smoke extracts (SE) in orbital fibroblasts. Primary OF cultures from GO and NON-GO orbits were exposed to different concentrations of SE (1%, 50%) and the changes were followed using Real Time Cell Electronic Sensing (RT-CES). Untreated GO and NON-GO cells had different maximum cell index (CI) values of 3.3 and 2.79 respectively (p < 0.0001). CC, HTP and ECIG treated NON-GO fibroblasts exhibited peak CIs of 2.62, 3.32 and 3.41 while treated GO cells’ CIs were higher, 5.38, 6.25 and 6.33, respectively (p < 0.0001). The metabolic activity (MTT) decreased (p < 0.001) and hyaluronan production doubled (p < 0.02) after 50% of CC SE treatment in all cell cultures. GO fibroblasts were more sensitive to low concentration SE then NON-GO fibroblasts (p < 0.0001). The studied SEs exerted different effects. RT-CES is a sensitive technique to detect the effects of very low concentration of SE on fibroblasts. 相似文献

Ground-state scalar isoscalar mesons and a scalar glueball are described in a U(3)×U(3) chiral quark model of the Nambu-Jona-Lasinio (NJL) type with 't Hooft interaction. The latter interaction produces singlet-octet
mixing in the scalar and pseudoscalar sectors. The glueball is introduced into the effective meson Lagrangian as a dilaton
on the base of scale invariance. The mixing of the glueball with scalar isoscalar quarkonia and amplitudes of their decays
into two pseudoscalar mesons are shown to be proportional to current quark masses, vanishing in the chiral limit. Mass spectra
of the scalar mesons and the glueball and their main modes of strong decay are described.
