The e + e ? → ηπ+π? cross section in the η → 2γ channel has been measured in the $ \sqrt s $ = 1.04- to 1.38-GeV energy range. The data with a total integrated luminosity of 9.05 pb?1 were collected on a spherical neutral detector at the VEPP-2M collider. The results are consistent with the BaBar and CMD2 data and have a higher statistical accuracy.  相似文献

We present a measurement of the e + e K S K L cross section in the energy range √s = 1.04−1.38 GeV. For an energy of √s ≥ 1.2 GeV the cross section exceeds vector meson dominance model predictions with only ρ(770), ω(783), and ϕ(1020) mesons taken into account. The reaction e + e ?→ωπ0 near a Φ resonance was studied with a spherical neutral detector at VEPP-2M e + e ? collider. Both main modes of decay of a ω meson were investigated: ω→π+π?π0 and ω→π 0γ. The probability of decay Φ→ωπ0 was obtained from the magnitude of the interference wave in the cross section for the reaction e + e ?→ωπ0→ π+π?π0π0: B(Φ→ωπ0) = (5.5 ?1.4 +1.6 ±0.3) ×10?5. The ratio of the partial widths of the ω meson was obtained from the ratio of the cross sections for the two modes: Γ(ω→π0γ )/Γ(ω→π+π?π0) = 0.0994 ± 0.0036 ± 0.0038.  相似文献

This work focuses on the behavior and comparative assessment of the antioxidant activity of several well-known antioxidants using three different approaches with the same ABTS?+/potassium persulfate radical-generating system: a decolorization assay, kinetic assay, and visual-spectrophotometric titration assay. The decolorization assay is the most common approach but gives little information on antioxidant behavior. The kinetic assay can be used for an in-depth study of the specific features of a particular antioxidant and facilitates identification of the mechanism of action. The visual-spectrophotometric titration assay is complementary to the above assays and subdivided into two stages to demonstrate the contribution of the “fast” and “slow” scavenging properties to the total antioxidant activity. The trolox equivalent antioxidant capacity (TEAC) value ranges for several flavonoids and the endogenous antioxidants derived from these assays vary from 0.7 to 5.1, 0.5–2.8, and 0.4–3.7, respectively, while the sequence of the weakest antioxidant to the strongest is similar. The analysis of the kinetic curves for some flavonoids showed that their interaction with ABTS?+ has an atypical character. Based on the results of the kinetic and visual-spectrophotometric titration assays, fast-reacting (trolox, α-tocopherol), slow-reacting (naringenin, apigenin) and moderate-reacting antioxidant (dihydroquercetin, quercetin, rutin, morin, and glutathione) compounds were distinguished.  相似文献

The cross sections of the e + e ?→π+π?π +π?, e + e ?→π+π?π0π 0, and e + e ?→ωπ→ π+π?π 0π0 processes, as well as the e + e ?→π+π?π0π0 process with subtracted contribution of the ωπ intermediate state, are measured in experiments with a spherical neutral detector on the VEPP-2M collider in the energy range 0.98–1.38 GeV. About 41 000 events of the e + e ?→π+π?π+π ? process and more than 54 000 events of the e + e ?→π+π ?π0π0 process have been selected in experiment. The cross section of the process e + e ? → π+π? was measured in the spherical neutral detector experiment at the VEPP-2M collider in the energy region $400 < \sqrt s < 1000 MeV$ . This measurement was based on about 12.4 × 106 selected collinear events, which include 7.4 × 106 e + e ?e + e ?, 4.5 × 106 e + e ? → π+π?, and 0.5 × 106 e + e ? → μ+μ? selected events. The systematic uncertainty of cross section determination is 1.3%. The ρ-meson parameters were determined as m ρ = 774.9±0.4±0.5 MeV, Γ ρ = 146.5±0.8±1.5 MeV, and σ(ρ → π+π?) = 1220 ± 7 ± 16 nb and the parameters of the G-parity suppressed decay ω → π+π? as σ(ω → π+π?) = 29.9 ± 1.4 ± 1.0 nb and φρω = 113.5±1.3±1.7°.  相似文献

We investigate the effects of inelastic cotunneling on the electronic transport properties of gold nanoparticle multilayers and thick films at low applied bias, inside the Coulomb-blockade regime. We find that the zero-bias conductance, g(0)(T), in all systems exhibits Efros-Shklovskii-type variable range hopping transport. The resulting typical hopping distance, corresponding to the number of tunnel junctions participating in cotunneling events, is shown to be directly related to the power-law exponent in the measured current-voltage characteristics. We discuss the implications of these findings in light of models on cotunneling and hopping transport in mesoscopic, granular conductors.  相似文献
