The corresponding 5-mono- and 5,7-disubstituted 6-oxo-1,3-diazaadamantanes were obtained with high yields by the condensation of mono- and ,'-disubstituted acetones with hexamethylenetetramine in the presence of glacial acetic acid, and their structures were confirmed by IR and PMR spectra. The group 14 clusters encapsulated by coinage metals in neutral and anionic states X(10)M(0/-) (X = Ge, Sn, Pb and M = Cu, Ag, Au) are investigated using quantum chemical calculations with the DFT/B3LYP functional and coupled-cluster CCSD(T) theory. Addition of transition metals into the empty cages forms high symmetry endohedral structures, except for Ge(10)Ag(0/-). In agreement with experiments available for X(10)Cu, the D(4d) global minima of the anions are calculated to be magic clusters with large frontier orbital gaps, high vertical and adiabatic detachment energies, and large embedding energies and binding energies as compared to those of the empty cages X(10)(2-). The enhanced stability of these magic clusters can be rationalized by the three-dimensional aromaticity. 相似文献

Geometric and electronic structures, vibrational properties, and relative stabilities of niobium clusters Nb(n), n = 7-12, are studied using both DFT (BPW91 and M06 functionals) and CCSD(T) calculations with the cc-pVnZ-PP basis set. In each cluster, various lower-lying states are very close in energy in such a way that the ground state cannot be unambiguously established by DFT computations. Nb clusters tend to prefer the lowest possible spin state as the ground state, except for Nb(12) ((3)A(g)). The optimal structure of the cluster at a certain size does not simply grow from that of the smaller one by adding an atom randomly. Instead, the Nb clusters prefer a close-packed growth behavior. Nb(10) has a spherically aromatic character, high chemical hardness and large HOMO-LUMO gap. Electron affinities, ionization energies, binding energy per atom, and the stepwise dissociation energies are evaluated. Energetic properties exhibit odd-even oscillations. Comparison with experimental values shows that both BPW91 and M06 functionals are reliable in predicting the EA and IE values, but the BPW91 is deficient in predicting the binding and dissociation energies. We re-examine in particular the experimental far IR spectra previously recorded using the IR-MPD and free electron laser spectrometric techniques and propose novel assignments for Nb(7) and Nb(9) systems. Adsorption isotherms of nonionic polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) and anionic ionized polyacrylic acid (PAA) polymers on single Na-montmorillonite clay and γ-alumina adsorbents in 0.01M NaCl and pH 5.6 are reported and compared to results obtained with aqueous adsorbent mixtures. Microeiectrophoretic behaviours of adsorbents are also observed. The syntheses, X-ray structures, and magnetic behaviors of two new cyano-bridged assemblies, the molecular [Mn(III)(salen)H2O]3[W(V)(CN)8].H2O (1) and one-dimensional [Mn(salen)(H2O)2]2[[Mn(salen)(H2O)][Mn(salen)]2[Mo(CN)(8)]].0.5ClO4.0.5OH.4.5H2O (2), are presented. Compound 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic system, has space group P2(1)/c, and has unit cell constants a = 13.7210(2) A, b = 20.6840(4) A, c = 20.6370(2) A, and Z = 4. Compound 2 crystallizes in the triclinic system, has space group P, and has unit cell dimensions a = 18.428(4) A, b = 18.521(3) A, c = 18.567(4) A, and Z = 2. The structure of 1 consists of the asymmetric V-shaped Mn-NC-W-NC-Mn-O(phenolate)-Mn molecules, where W(V) coordinates with [Mn(salen)H2O] and singly phenolate-bridged [Mn(salen)H2O]2 moieties through the neighboring cyano bridges. The [W(V)(CN)8]3- ion displays distorted square-antiprism geometry. The structure of 2 consists of the cyano-bridged [Mn3(III)Mo(IV)]n- repeating units linked by double phenolate bridges into one-dimensional zigzag chains. The Mn(III) centers are bound to Mo(IV) of square-antiprism geometry through the neighboring cyano bridges. The magnetic studies of 1 reveal the antiferromagnetic intramolecular interactions through the CN and phenolate bridges and the relatively weak intermolecular interactions. Compound 1 becomes antiferromagnetically ordered below TN = 4.6 K. The presence of the magnetic anisotropy is documented with the MH measurements carried out for both polycrystalline and single-crystal samples. At T = 1.9 K, the spin-flop transition is observed in the field of 18 kOe applied parallel to the bc plane, which is the easy plane of magnetization. Field dependence of magnetization of 1 shows field-induced metamagnetic behavior from the antiferromagnetic ground state of ST = 3/2 to the state of ST = 5/2. The magnetic properties of 2 indicate a weak antiferromagnetic interaction between Mn(III) centers in double-phenolate-bridged [Mn(III)(salen)]2 dinuclear subunits and a very weak ferromagnetic interaction between them through the diamagnetic [Mo(IV)(CN)8]4- spacer. 相似文献

A bottom‐up strategy was used for the synthesis of cross‐linked copolymers containing the organocatalyst N‐{(1R)‐2′‐{[(4‐ethylphenyl)sulfonyl]amino}[1,1′‐binaphthalen]‐2‐yl}‐D ‐prolinamide derived from 2 (Scheme 1). The polymer‐bound catalyst 5b containing 1% of divinylbenzene as cross‐linker showed higher catalyst activity in the aldol reaction between cyclohexanone and 4‐nitrobenzaldehyde than 5a and 5c . Remarkably, the reaction in the presence of 5b was carried out under solvent‐free, mild conditions, achieving up to 93% ee (Table 1). The polymer‐bound catalyst 5b was recovered by filtration and re‐used up to seven times without detrimental effects on the achieved diastereo‐ and enantioselectivities (Table 2). The catalytic procedure with polymer 5b was extended to the aldol reaction under solvent‐free conditions of other ketones, including functionalized ones, and different aromatic aldehydes (Table 3). In some cases, the addition of a small amount of H2O was required to give the best results (up to 95% ee). Under these reaction conditions, the cross‐aldol reaction between aldehydes proceeded in moderate yield and diastereo‐ and enantioselectivity (Scheme 2). 相似文献

By combining supercritical drying technique with AAO template-assisted electrodeposition, noncollapsed, vertically aligned, and free-standing nanowire arrays on a conductive Au film have been fabricated.
