1H and 13С NMR spectral assignments have been provided for low‐molecular reference monomers, poly(diphenyleneoxidephthalide) and periodic copoly(arylenephthalide) derivatives such as AB, ABB, and ABBB (where A = terphenylenephthalide and B = diphenyleneoxidephthalide) using 1H‐1H COSY, 1H‐13C HSQC and HMBC NMR techniques. Distinctive 13C NMR chemical shifts of a main chain have been observed containing fragments of similar structures and lateral phthalate groups being part of various diads. Inhalation toxicology studies generally use the Brunauer, Emmett, and Teller (BET) gas adsorption method to measure total surface area of particles whereas occupational exposures are more readily measured by real-time mobility-based surface areas or active surface area measured with diffusion charger-based instruments. Three surface area measurement methods were studied: filter-based inert gas adsorption (BET method), diffusion charging, and mobility-based methods. The goal of the project was to investigate and develop a correlation between the measurement methods. The experimental design consisted of measuring surface area in a series of five trials for each of two powder types, fine and ultrafine titanium dioxide with primary particle sizes of 440 and 20 nm, respectively, and two aerosol concentrations. Diffusion charger instruments tended to underestimate the total particle surface area measured by the BET, but were well correlated with mobility-based surface areas obtained from a scanning mobility particle sizer. Filter-based gas adsorption methods and diffusion charging methods provide different but valuable information on total and active surface areas of particles, respectively. Results indicate they should not be used as predictors of one another.  相似文献

The pyrazoline ring is defined as a “privileged structure” in medicinal chemistry. A variety of pharmacological properties of pyrazolines is associated with the nature and position of various substituents, which is especially evident in diarylpyrazolines. Compounds with a chalcone fragment show a wide range of biological properties as well as high reactivity which is primarily due to the presence of an α, β-unsaturated carbonyl system. At the same time, bicyclic monoterpenoids deserve special attention as a source of a key structural block or as one of the pharmacophore components of biologically active molecules. A series of new diarylpyrazoline derivatives based on isobornylchalcones with different substitutes (MeO, Hal, NO2, N(Me)2) was synthesized. Antioxidant properties of the obtained compounds were comparatively evaluated using in vitro model Fe2+/ascorbate-initiated lipid peroxidation in the substrate containing brain lipids of laboratory mice. It was demonstrated that the combination of the electron-donating group in the para-position of ring B and OH-group in the ring A in the structure of chalcone fragment provides significant antioxidant activity of synthesized diarylpyrazoline derivatives.  相似文献

Rare earth fluorides are mainly obtained from aqueous solutions of oxygen‐containing precursors. Probably, this method is simple and efficient, however, oxygen may partially be retained in the fluoride structure. We offer an alternative method: obtaining fluorides and solid solutions based on them from an oxygen‐free precursor. As starting materials, we choose sulfides of rare‐earth elements and solid solutions based on them. The fluorination is carried out by exposure to hydrofluoric acid of various concentrations. The transmission electron microscopy images revealed the different morphologies of the products, which depend on the concentration of the fluorinating component (HF) and the host element. The solid solution particle size varied from 30–35 nm in the case of GdF3:Yb3+, Tm3+ (4 % HF) to larger structures with dimensions exceeding 200 nm, such as that for LaF3:Yb3+, Ho3+ (40 % HF). The thermal characteristics, such as the temperatures of the transitions and melting and enthalpies, were determined for the solid solutions and simple fluorides. Applicability of the materials obtained as biological luminescent markers was tested on the example of upconversion luminescence, and good upconversion properties were detected.  相似文献
