The metabolic transformations of the psychotropic cannabinoid (3R, 4R)-Δ1-tetrahydrocannabinol (5) (=Δ1-THC) by cultures of Fusarium Nivale, Gibberella fujikuroi (both Ascomycetes) and Thamnidium elegans (Phycomycetes) were investigated. A number of metaboilites, 1–4 and 6–9 were isolated from the incubations, partly purified and their structures elucidated by combined gas chromatography/mass spectrometry. Four of these metabolites, 1″-hydroxy-Δ1-THC (4) 2″-hydroxy-β1-THC (1) 6Δ-hydroxy-ζ1-THC (8) and 2″,6Δ-dihydroxy-Δ1-THC (9) so far have not been reported as microbial transformation products of 5 .  相似文献

Rock blasting may cause disturbances, fear, and annoyance in residential and community areas affected by such activities. These community reactions can be quite strong, even when the blasting activities and the resulting vibrations are unlikely to cause physical damage to building foundations or buildings. A socio-vibrational survey was undertaken to assess residential reactions to blasting activities. Vibration velocities were obtained for 520 respondent dwellings located in seven study areas, and compared to the residents’ assessments of environment quality. Even at low vibration values, many people report annoyance. Exposure–effect relationships with acceptable statistical error bands were obtained. The level of annoyance from long-term blasting activities (quarry blasting) was not higher than from finite periods of more intense blasting activities (road and rail tunnels). Providing information in advance of the blasting activities, can reduce community reactions. Self-reported sensitivity to vibrations was associated with significantly increased annoyance. Sensitivity to vibrations was uncorrelated with exposure to vibrations. Sensitivity to noise and sensitivity to vibration were moderately correlated.  相似文献

The pitch of stimuli was studied under conditions where place-of-excitation was held constant, and where pitch was therefore derived from "purely temporal" cues. In experiment 1, the acoustical and electrical pulse trains consisted of pulses whose amplitudes alternated between a high and a low value, and whose interpulse intervals alternated between 4 and 6 ms. The attenuated pulses occurred after the 4-ms intervals in condition A, and after the 6-ms intervals in condition B. For both normal-hearing subjects and cochlear implantees, the period of an isochronous pulse train equal in pitch to this "4-6" stimulus increased from near 6 ms at the smallest modulation depth to nearly 10 ms at the largest depth. Additionally, the modulated pulse trains in condition A were perceived as being lower in pitch than those in condition B. Data are interpreted in terms of increased refractoriness in condition A, where the larger pulses are more closely followed by the smaller ones than in condition B. Consistent with this conclusion, the A-B difference was reduced at longer interpulse intervals. These findings provide a measure of supra-threshold effects of refractoriness on pitch perception, and increase our understanding of coding of temporal information in cochlear implant speech processing schemes.  相似文献

Let (G,X) be a transformation group where the group G does not necessarily act freely on the space X. We investigate the extent to which the action of G may fail to be proper. Stability subgroups are used to define new notions of strength of convergence in the orbit space and of measure accumulation along orbits. Thermodynamic parameters for the complexation of Eu(3+) with pyromellitic acid (1,2,4,5-benzenetetracarboxylic acid, BTC) as a model system for polymerizable metal-complexing humic acids were determined using temperature-dependent time-resolved laser-induced fluorescence spectroscopy (TRLFS) and isothermal titration calorimetry (ITC). At low metal and ligand concentrations (<50 μM Eu(3+), <1 mM BTC), a 1:1 monomeric Eu-BTC complex was identified in the range of 25-60 °C. At elevated concentrations (>500 μM Eu(3+) and BTC) a temperature-dependent polymerization was observed, where BTC monomers are linked via coordinating shared Eu(3+) ions. The two methods lead to comparable thermodynamic data (ΔH = 18.5 ± 1.5/16.5 ± 0.1 kJ mol(-1); ΔS = 152 ± 5/130 ± 5 J mol(-1) K(-1); TRLFS/ITC) in the absence of polymerization. With the onset of polymerization, TRLFS reveals the water coordination number of the lanthanide, whereas calorimetry is superior in determining the thermodynamic data in this regime. Evaluating the heat uptake kinetics, the monomer and polymer formation steps could be separated by "time-resolved" ITC, revealing almost identical binding enthalpies for the sequential reactions. Structural features of the complexes were studied by Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy in combination with density functional theory (DFT) calculations showing predominantly chelating coordination with two carboxylate groups in the monomeric complex and monodentate binding of a single carboxylate group in the polymeric complex of the polycarboxylate with Eu(3+). The data show that pyromellitic acid is a suitable model for the study of metal-mediated polymerization as a crucial factor in determining the effect of humic acids on the mobility of heavy metals in the environment.  相似文献

The average degree of polymerisation (DP) and distribution of oligosaccharides in partially acid hydrolysed mannuronans were quantitatively evaluated by 1H NMR, electrospray ionisation mass spectrometry (ESI-MS), micellar electrokinetic capillary chromatography with UV detection (MEKC-UV), and high-pressure anion-exchange chromatography with pulsed amperometric detection (HPAEC-PAD). Our investigation shows that 1H NMR, MEKC-UV and, in particular, HPAEC-PAD can be used as quantitative tools to aid the investigation of polysaccharide structure, function and synthesis. For the latter two techniques, especially, this represents a significant new development as it enables calculation of the quantity of individual oligomers of nominal DP by direct analysis of a defined oligomer mixture. Appropriate statistical averages of number and weight distributions were also calculated and found to fit very well to predicted Kuhn distributions that assume random depolymerisation.  相似文献

The paper describes a research of possible application of UTEVA and TRU resins and anion exchanger AMBERLITE CG-400 in nitrate form for the isolation of uranium and thorium from natural samples. The results of determination of distribution coefficient have shown that uranium and thorium bind on TRU and UTEVA resins from the solutions of nitric and hydrochloric acids, and binding strength increases proportionally to increase the concentration of acids. Uranium and thorium bind rather strongly to TRU resin from the nitric acid in concentration ranging from 0.5 to 5 mol L−1, while large quantities of other ions present in the sample do not influence on the binding strength. Due to the difference in binding strength in HCl and HNO3 respectively, uranium and thorium can be easily separated from each other on the columns filled with TRU resin. Furthermore, thorium binds to anion exchanger in nitrate form from alcohol solutions of nitric acid very strongly, while uranium does not, so they can be easily separated. Based on these results, we have created the procedures of preconcentration and separation of uranium and thorium from the soil, drinking water and seawater samples by using TRU and UTEVA resins and strong base anion exchangers in nitrate form. In one of the procedures, uranium and thorium bind directly from the samples of drinking water and seawater on the column filled with TRU resin from 0.5 mol L−1 HNO3 in a water sample. After binding, thorium is separated from uranium with 0.5 mol L−1 HCl, and uranium is eluted with deionised water. By applying the described procedure, it is possible to achieve the concentration factor of over 1000 for the column filled with 1 g of resin and splashed with 2 L of the sample. Spectrophotometric determination with Arsenazo III, with this concentration factor results in detection limits below 1 μg L−1 for uranium and thorium. In the second procedure, uranium and thorium are isolated from the soil samples with TRU resin, while they are separated from each other on the column filled with anion exchanger in alcohol solutions. Anion exchanger combined with alcohol solutions enables isolation of thorium from soil samples and its separation from a wide range of elements, as well as spectrophotometric determination, ICP-MS determination, and other determination techniques.  相似文献

Eight new molybdenum(VI) complexes with 4-(diethylamino)salicylaldehyde and 2-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldehyde thiosemicarbazones have been prepared. They were characterized as mononuclear [MoO2LD] or dinuclear [{MoO2L}2D] complexes. In all the compounds the MoO22+ core is coordinated by a tridentate ONS thiosemicarbazonato ligand and by the N-donor molecule (imidazole, pyridine or γ-picoline). All the complexes were characterized by chemical analysis, IR spectroscopy and thermogravimetry. Three of the mononuclear complexes, dioxo[(2-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldehyde thiosemicarbazonato)(pyridine)]molybdenum(VI), dioxo[(2-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldehyde thiosemicarbazonato)(γ-picoline)]molybdenum(VI) and dioxo[(2-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldehyde thiosemicarbazonato)(imidazole)]molybdenum(VI) were also characterized by single-crystal X-ray structural analysis. A spectrophotometric method for the determination of molybdenum based on extraction of ion-pairs formed by the cationic surfactant and the [MoO(SCN)4] anion is described.  相似文献
