The thermal expansion behavior of oriented poly(vinylidene fluoride) films has been studied over the temperature range ?75 to +20°C. Representative high draw, low draw, and voided samples have been examined. For all samples at low temperatures the transverse thermal expansion coefficients, both in the plane of the sheet and perpendicular to it, are similar and have positive values of about 10?4 K?1. In the draw direction the thermal expansion coefficients are much smaller in magnitude and can be either positive or negative, the room temperature values varying in the range +4 × 10?6 K?1 for low draw samples to ?14 × 10?6 K?;1 for high draw samples. As the temperature is raised the coefficients also increase but, above the glass transition temperature, the value in the draw direction, α1, shows a rapid fall in value. It is shown that this effect can be related quantitatively to the presence of an internal shrinkage stress. Differences between samples can then be primarily related to differences in the magnitude of this internal stress and to differences in the temperature dependence of the modulus of the sample.  相似文献

A novel series of organometallic donor–conjugated–acceptor dyes derived from ferrocene as the donor group have been synthesized via the Knoevenagel reaction of ferrocene carboxaldehyde and various active methylene compounds to give a range of dyes ranging from orange to blue–green in color. The most bathochromic dye is that derived from dialkyl thiobarbituric acid and the least is that derived from the tetralone. The dyes showed an unusual negative solvatochromism as the solvent polarity increased. All dyes synthesized are expected to have some non‐linear optical properties, as evidenced from the pronounced solvatochromism. Copyright © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Polyethersulfone (PES) has been widely used in membrane technology and used to purify water in water treatments application or as a dialyzer to purify blood in hemodialysis. In this work, PES was chemically modified by separately grafting two biomolecules, 4‐aminobenzenesulfonamide (ABS), and 4‐amino‐N‐(5‐methylisoxazol‐3‐yl)benzenesulfonamide (AMBS), on PES backbone, and these modified membranes were blended to unmodified PES, in 1:1 ratio, in order to obtain PES‐b‐PES‐ABS and PES‐b‐PES‐AMBS membranes. The first aim of this study is to measure the anticoagulant properties of the modified membrane by measuring the activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT) and prothrombin time (PT). The second aim of the study is to evaluate the antifouling properties of the modified PES membranes by examining its antimicrobial activity against two Gram‐negative bacteria, which are Pseudomonas aeruginosa (P. aeruginosa) and Escherichia coli (E. coli); two Gram‐positive bacteria, which are Bacillus subtilis (B. subtilis) and Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus); and a fungus, which is Candida albicans (C. albicans). The results showed that grafting of ABS and AMBS improved overall the hydrophilicity properties of the modified PES membranes. PES‐b‐PES‐ABS membranes showed better anticoagulant properties with 13 seconds for PT and 38 seconds for APPT, in comparison with the control sample (pure plasma), which showed 12 seconds for PT and 30 seconds for APPT. For antimicrobial tests, both PES‐b‐PES‐ABS and PES‐b‐PES‐AMBS membranes did not show any antibacterial activity, but when zinc oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles were added to the modified PES membranes in concentrations between 3% to 5% w/w, PES‐b‐PES‐ABS‐ZnO (M‐4 and M‐5), and PES‐b‐PES‐AMBS‐ZnO (M‐8 and M‐9) nanocomposite membranes showed antibacterial activity against P. aeruginosa and S. aureus.  相似文献

NH3作为一种必需的活化氮源,在化肥、染料、爆炸物和药物等的制造中起到了关键作用;同时,它也是一种在交通运输领域具有吸引力的无碳能源载体.工业上生产氨气使用典型的哈伯-博世工艺,但是此工艺涉及大量的能源消耗和碳排放,给环境带来巨大的压力.电化学氮还原反应(NRR)能够在温和环境下实现环境友好、节能的氨合成,但此过程需要高效的电催化剂.高效的NRR催化剂(Au、Ag、Pd和Ru)储量少、成本高,阻碍了它的实际应用.因此,设计和开发由地球上丰富的元素制成的具有成本效益的催化剂来代替NRR催化剂意义重大.本课题组最近的研究(Chem.Commun.,2018,54,12966-12969)表明,SnO2在环境条件下具有电催化氧化活性,但其低电导率限制了其性能,可通过氟掺杂或石墨烯杂化予以解决.氧化铟锡(ITO)作为一种含SnO2的材料,导电性好,可望用于NRR的高效电催化剂中.因此,本文采用商用氧化铟锡玻璃(ITO/G)作为催化剂电极,在温和环境条件下进行N2-NH3的电化学转化,并呈现出对生成氨气有较高的选择性.XRD和XPS结果表示,商用ITO/G中存在In,Sn和O元素;SEM显示ITO/G具有清晰的纳米薄膜结构和267 nm的截面厚度;相应的EDX谱图显示In,Sn和O元素分布均匀,且原子比为32.11:3.16:64.74.采用紫外-可见光谱及线性扫描伏安和恒电位极化等电化学测试研究了商用ITO/G的NRR活性.在0.5 M LiClO4电解液中测试时,于-0.40 V vs.RHE条件下,ITO/G的NH3产率为1.06×10-10 mol s-1 cm-2,其法拉第效率为6.17%.15N同位素标记实验证实了所测到的NH3是由ITO/G催化的N2电还原反应生成的.利用第一性原理计算探讨了在ITO催化剂上可能的NRR反应机理,确定了ITO催化剂的NRR活性位点、N2化学吸附活性位点以及NRR的反应途径.此外,24 h恒电位(-0.40 V vs.RHE)极化测试和2 h恒电位极化(-0.40 V vs.RHE)测试后的XRD和SEM结果表明,该催化剂具有较高的电化学稳定性.综上所述,商用ITO/G用作在环境条件下将N2转化为NH3的有效催化剂电极,将为开发人工固定氮气的ITO基纳米结构提供一种研究途径.  相似文献

On the line of a previous work on the spectral properties of some of heteroaryl chalcone, the effect of medium acidity and photoreactivity of 3‐(4‐dimethylamino‐phenyl)‐1‐(2,5‐dimethyl‐thiophen‐3‐yl)‐propenone (DDTP) has been investigated in dimethylformamide and in chloromethane solvents such as methylenechloride, chloroform and carbon tetrachloride. The dye solution (ca. 5×10−4 mol·L−1 in DMF) gives a good laser emission in the range 470–560 nm with emission maximum at 515 nm upon pumping by nitrogen laser (λex=337.1 nm). The laser parameters such as gain coefficient (α), emission cross section (δe) and half life energy (E1/2) at maximum laser emission are also determined.  相似文献

The petroleum ether extract of the red alga Laurencia obtusa afforded three new C(15) acetogenins (cyclic ether enyne): (12Z)-cis-maneonene-D (1), (12E)-cis-maneonene-E (2), and (12Z)-trans-maneonene-C (3), along with one known cis-maneonene-A (4). Blood neutrophils were prepared, cultured, and incubated for 24, 48, and 72 h in medium with and without isolated compounds. Blood neutrophils were prepared, cultured, and incubated for 24, 48 and 72 h in medium with and without the isolated compounds. Both morphology and DNA fragmentation methods assessed the percentage of neutrophils apoptosis in each culture. In the present study, several observations have been made concerning the apoptosis-inducing or inhibiting effect of 1 and 2. Both compounds had no inhibition of apoptosis but apoptosis was enhanced significantly by aging. However, 1 stimulated apoptosis of normal only at the initial 24 h. After that there was no significant difference in apoptosis with or without compound 1, while 2 stimulated apoptosis at all the times. The apoptosis induced by these two compounds was demonstrated by DNA fragmentation assay and microscopic observation. These observations suggest that compounds 1 and 2 may be involved in regulation of programmed death in the initiation and propagation of inflammatory responses.  相似文献

(±)-Licarin A (1), a neolignan obtained by the oxidative coupling reaction of isoeugenol, had in this study its enantiomers resolved. A novel, quick and efficient enantiomeric resolution of 1 was directly performed by chiral high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC-PDA) protocol (CHIRALPACK® AD column; 9:1 (v/v) n-hexane:2-propanol; 1.0 mL/min). This method provided a chromatogram profile with a well-resolved peak separation. After isolation of each enantiomer with ee > 99.9%, they were analysed in a polarimeter. Compound 2, which showed a retention time (tr) of 12.13 min, was the (+)-enantiomer and compound 3 (tr = 18.90 min) was the (−)-enantiomer.  相似文献
