A method of ring artefact suppression in X-ray computerised tomography (CT) reconstructions is proposed. The method is based on the assumption that a sinogram is a smooth function along the horizontal spatial coordinate. Methods based on the theory of ill-posed problems are applied to find a regularised solution. An analytical formula for the solution is proposed allowing fast ring artefact suppression. A spectrophotometric study of the solubilization and aggregation of the Nile red dye (NR) in premicellar and micellar aqueous solutions of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) was carried out. The experiments were conducted both with saturated solutions of NR under conditions of thermodynamic equilibrium of the solution with a dye precipitate, and at a constant concentration of NR in a homogeneous solution. In the first case, it was proved theoretically and verified experimentally that with an increase in the SDS concentration, the NR concentration always increases, and at the limit of low concentrations, the dependence is linear. In both cases, the concentration of NR dimers as a function passes through a maximum in the premicellar region. There are no dimers in the micellar region. The extinction coefficients of NR monomers in SDS solutions were determined both below and above the critical micelle concentration (CMC) of SDS. A solubilization curve with branches for the premicellar and micellar regions was constructed, the intersection of which was used to find the CMC value in the system under study. The state of deep supersaturation of the NR solution in the metastable state upon dilution of the micellar system with water was studied. In this article, capillary electrophoresis was used to measure the effective electrophoretic mobility of ester betulin derivatives as a pH function and to study their complexation with γ-cyclodextrin (γ-CD). The electrophoretic mobility of betulin 3,28-diphthalate (DPhB) and 3,28-disuccinate (DScB) changed unusually with decreasing pH: instead of decreasing, it first increased and then decreased. This fact as well as the turbidity of sample solutions at pH from 2.5 to 6, broadening of electrophoretic peaks and a decrease in the surface tension of the solutions indicates that these betulin derivatives, being amphiphilic compounds and weak acids, exist as micelles in aqueous solutions at pH 6 and below. The inclusion complexation of betulin derivatives with γ-CD at pH 9.18 and 4.5 was studied by mobility shift affinity capillary electrophoresis. At pH 9.18, the apparent binding (stability) constant logarithms for 1:1 γ-CD complexes of DPhB, betulin 3,28-disulfate (DSB) and DScB with 95% confidence interval limits were equal to 7.44 ± 0.02, 7.09 (7.01–7.19), and 6.97 (6.87–7.08) at 25°C, respectively. At pH 4.5, the binding constant for the DSB complex was slightly lower, while the micelle formation did not allow determining the exact values of the constants for the DPhB and DScB complexes. 相似文献

Investigations of plasma produced by a boron nitride capillary discharge irradiated with a guided 20-TW Ti: sapphire laser pulse at a peak intensity of 4 x 10(18) W/cm2 are presented. The guided laser radiation in the plasma channel generated He-like ions that, subject to suitable plasma temperature, recombined into Li-like nitrogen ions. Intense radiation at a wavelength of 24.77 nm was observed, indicating possible lasing at the 3d(5/2) - 2p(3/2) transition in Li-like nitrogen. 相似文献

Microbeam radiation therapy (MRT) is a promising radiotherapy modality that uses arrays of spatially fractionated micrometre‐sized beams of synchrotron radiation to irradiate tumours. Routine dosimetry quality assurance (QA) prior to treatment is necessary to identify any changes in beam condition from the treatment plan, and is undertaken using solid homogeneous phantoms. Solid phantoms are designed for, and routinely used in, megavoltage X‐ray beam radiation therapy. These solid phantoms are not necessarily designed to be water‐equivalent at low X‐ray energies, and therefore may not be suitable for MRT QA. This work quantitatively determines the most appropriate solid phantom to use in dosimetric MRT QA. Simulated dose profiles of various phantom materials were compared with those calculated in water under the same conditions. The phantoms under consideration were RMI457 Solid Water (Gammex‐RMI, Middleton, WI, USA), Plastic Water (CIRS, Norfolk, VA, USA), Plastic Water DT (CIRS, Norfolk, VA, USA), PAGAT (CIRS, Norfolk, VA, USA), RW3 Solid Phantom (PTW Freiburg, Freiburg, Germany), PMMA, Virtual Water (Med‐Cal, Verona, WI, USA) and Perspex. RMI457 Solid Water and Virtual Water were found to be the best approximations for water in MRT dosimetry (within ±3% deviation in peak and 6% in valley). RW3 and Plastic Water DT approximate the relative dose distribution in water (within ±3% deviation in the peak and 5% in the valley). PAGAT, PMMA, Perspex and Plastic Water are not recommended to be used as phantoms for MRT QA, due to dosimetric discrepancies greater than 5%. 相似文献

The Group 18 elements (noble gases) were the last ones in the periodic system to have not been encountered in perovskite structures. We herein report the synthesis of a new group of double perovskites KM(XeNaO6) (M=Ca, Sr, Ba) containing framework‐forming xenon. The structures of the new compounds, like other double perovskites, are built up of the alternating sequence of corner‐sharing (XeO6) and (NaO6) octahedra arranged in a three‐dimensional rocksalt order. The fact that xenon can be incorporated into the perovskite structure provides new insights into the problem of Xe depletion in the atmosphere. Since octahedrally coordinated XeVIII and SiIV exhibit close values of ionic radii (0.48 and 0.40 Å, respectively), one could assume that XeVIII can be incorporated into hyperbaric frameworks such as MgSiO3 perovskite. The ability of Xe to form stable inorganic frameworks can further extend the rich and still enigmatic chemistry of this noble gas. 相似文献

The interaction of poly(methylaminophosphazene) hydrochloride (PMAP·HCl) of varying degrees of ionization (f) with the potassium salt of ι-carrageenan was studied by high-sensitivity differential scanning calorimetry at a KCl concentration of 0.15 M, which is included for the purpose of stabilizing the helix conformation of the polysaccharide up to 55 °C. The conditions of strong (pH 3.8, I = 0.15), moderate (pH 7.4, I = 0.15), and weak (pH 7.4, I = 0.25) electrostatic interactions of the polyelectrolytes were considered. The thermodynamic parameters of the helix-coil transition of ι-carrageenan were determined as a function of the polycation/polyanion ratio. We show that the interpolyelectrolyte reaction between PMAP·HCl and ι-carrageenan results in a complete unfolding of the polysaccharide helix under conditions of strong electrostatic interaction and increases its stability under conditions of medium and weak electrostatic interactions. The formation of stoichiometric PMAP-carrageenan interpolyelectrolyte complexes proceeded via a cooperative mechanism at pH 3.8 (f = 0.5) and pH 7.4 (f = 0.2) at an ionic strength of 0.15. In contrast, the complexation at pH 7.4 and an ionic strength of 0.25 could be considered to be a consecutive competitive binding of charged units of poly(methylaminophosphazene) to the oppositely charged polysaccharide matrix in the helix or coil conformation. Binding constants of the polycation to the helix and coil forms of ι-carrageenan were estimated. They revealed a preferential binding of the polycation to the helix form of the polysaccharide. 相似文献
