(1R,2S,3S,5R,7aR)-1,2-Dihydroxy-3-hydroxymethyl-5-methylpyrrolizidine[(−)-3-epihyacinthacine A5, 1a] and (1S,2R,3R,5S 7aS)-1,2-dihydroxy-3-hydroxymethylpyrrolizidine[(+)-3-epihyacinthacine A5, 1b] have been synthesized either by Wittig's or Horner-Wadsworth-Emmond's (HWE's) methodology using aldehydes 4 and 9, both prepared from (2S,3S,4R,5R)-3,4-dibenzyloxy-2′-O-tert-butyldiphenylsilyl-2,5-bis(hydroxymethyl)pyrrolidine (2, partially protected DADP), and the appropriate ylides, followed by cyclization through an internal reductive amination process of the resulting α,β-unsaturated ketones 5 and 10, respectively, and total deprotection.  相似文献

This work proposes a new procedure for localizing molecular and natural orbitals. The localization criterion presented here is based on the partitioning of the overlap matrix into atomic contributions within the theory of "fuzzy" atoms. Our approach has several advantages over other schemes: it is computationally inexpensive, preserves the sigma/pi-separability in planar systems and provides a straightforward interpretation of the resulting orbitals in terms of their localization indices and atomic occupancies. The corresponding algorithm has been implemented and its efficiency tested on selected molecular systems.  相似文献

The low-energy emulsification method Emulsion Inversion Point (EIP) was used to prepare O/W nano-emulsions in the W/potassium oleate-oleic acid-C(12)E(10)/hexadecane ionic system. This method had not practically been used in ionic systems up to now. The resulting droplet sizes, much smaller than those obtained with the high-energy emulsification methods, depend on the composition (formulation variables) and preparation variables (addition and mixing rate). Phase diagrams, rheology measurements, and experimental designs applied to nano-emulsion droplet sizes obtained were combined to study the formation of these nano-emulsions. To obtain small droplet sizes, it is necessary to cross a direct cubic liquid crystal phase along the emulsification path, and it is also crucial to remain in this phase long enough to incorporate all of the oil into the liquid crystal. When nano-emulsion forms, the oil is already intimately mixed with all of the components, and it only has to be redistributed. Results show that the smaller droplet sizes are obtained when the liquid crystal zone is wide and extends to high water content, because in this case, during the emulsification process, the system remains long enough in the liquid crystal phase to allow the incorporation of all of the oil. Around the optimal formulation variables, the liquid crystal zone crossed during emulsification is wide enough to incorporate all of the oil whatever mixing or stirring rate is used, and then the resulting droplet size is independent of preparation variables. However, when the composition is far from this optimum, the liquid crystal zone becomes narrower and the mixing of components controls the nano-emulsion formation. High agitation rates and/or low addition rates are required to ensure the dissolution of all of the oil into this phase.  相似文献

This paper describes a new, organic-soluble 4-tert-butylbenzyl mercaptan (BBT) monolayer-protected silver cluster (AgBBT MPC) as the first example of a dissolved silver nanoparticle that exhibits quantized one-electron double layer charging (QDL) voltammetry. Polydisperse AgBBT MPCs made by two different synthetic protocols, but with similar average core diameters (2.1 nm), exhibit sharply differing electrochemistry and optical absorbance spectra. A two-phase procedure (organic/aqueous, termed Prep A-AgBBT) produced MPCs exhibiting a 475 nm surface plasmon absorbance and QDL voltammetry. Neither property was seen for MPCs made by a single-phase procedure, termed Prep B-AgBBT. The difference is thought to reflect poor passivation to oxide formation in the latter Prep B procedure, which is supported by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy results. Thermogravimetry, mass spectra, and electrochemistry results suggest an average stoichiometric formula of Ag140BBT53, but transmission electron microscopy shows that the products are also polydisperse and include polycrystalline aggregates. Dry, cast films of both Ag MPC preparations on interdigitated array electrodes exhibit low electron hopping conductivity, compared to Au MPCs.  相似文献

The isolation, purification and analysis of the lipid A obtained from Mesorhizobium loti Ayac 1 BII strain is presented. Analysis of the carbohydrate moiety after acid hydrolysis by high-pH anion-exchange chromatography with pulse amperometric detection (HPAEC-PAD) showed the presence of glucosamine and galacturonic acid as the only sugar components. Gas chromatographic (GC) and GC/mass spectrometric (MS) analysis of the fatty acids revealed the presence of 3-OH-C12:0; 3-OH-C13:0; 3-OH-C20:0 and 27-OH-C28:0 among the major hydroxylated species. In addition, C16:0, C17:0, C18:0 and C 20:0 were shown as main saturated fatty acids. Different polyacylated species were evidenced by thin layer chromatography of lipid A, allowing the purification of two fractions. Ultraviolet matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight (UV-MALDI-TOF) MS analysis with different matrices, in the positive- and negative-ion mode, was performed. The fast moving component revealed the presence of hexa-acylated species, varying in the fatty acid composition. Species containing three 3-OH fatty acids and a 27-OH-C28:0 fatty acid were observed. Individual ions within this family differ by +/-14 mass units. The slow moving component was enriched mainly in penta-acylated species. Among them, three subgroups were detected: the major one compatible with the sugar core bearing two 3-OH 20:0 fatty acids, a 3-OH 13:0 or a 3-OH 12:0 fatty acid, a 27-OH 28:0 fatty acid and one saturated fatty acid. Each signal differs in a C18:0 acyl unit from the corresponding hexa-acylated family. On the other hand, a subgroup bearing one 3-OH 20:0 fatty acid, one 27-OH 28:0 fatty acid and two non-polar fatty acids was shown. A minor subgroup compatible with structures containing two hydroxylated and three non-polar fatty acids was also detected. The results obtained showed that nor-harmane was an excellent matrix for charged lipid A structural studies in both, positive and negative ion modes.  相似文献

The behavior of 6-propionyl-2-dimethylaminonaphthalene (PRODAN) was studied in homogeneous media and in large unilamellar vesicles (LUVs) of the phospholipid 1,2-di-oleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphatidylcholine (DOPC), using absorption, emission, depolarization, and time-resolved spectroscopies. In homogeneous media, the Kamlet and Taft solvatochromic comparison method quantified solute-solvent interactions from the absorption and emission PRODAN bands. These studies demonstrate that the absorption band is sensitive to the polarity-polarizability (pi) and the hydrogen bond donor ability (alpha) parameters of the media. PRODAN in the excited state is even more sensitive to these parameters and to the hydrogen bond acceptor ability (beta) of the media. The transition energy (expressed in kcal/mol) for both absorption and emission bands gives a linear correlation with the well-known polarity parameter E(T30). The results from the absorption and emission bands also reveal that PRODAN aggregates in water. The monomer has two fluorescence lifetimes, 2.27 and 0.65 ns, while the aggregate has a lifetime of 14.6 ns. Using steady-state anisotropy measurements, the calculated volumes of the aggregate and the monomer are 5590 and 222 mL mol(-1), respectively. In DOPC LUVs, PRODAN undergoes a partition process between the water bulk and the DOPC bilayer. We show that the partition constant (K(p)) value is large enough that only at [DOPC] below 0.15 mg/mL PRODAN in water can be detected. PRODAN dissolved in LUVs at [DOPC] > 1 mg/mL exists completely incorporated in its monomer form and senses two different microenvironments within the bilayer: a polar region in the interface near the water and a less polar and also less viscous environment, between the phospholipid tails. These environments were characterized by their fluorescence lifetimes (tau), showing that PRODAN in the polar microenvironment has a tau value of approximately 4 ns while in the less polar region gives a value of 1.2 ns. Moreover, this probe also senses the micropolarity of these two different regions of the bilayer and yields values similar to that of methanol and tetrahydrofuran.  相似文献
