The electron-transfer-catalyzed rearrangement of the housanes 1 affords regioselectively the two cyclopentenes 2 and 3 by 1,2-migration of a group at the methano bridge. Appropriate ring annelation in the intermediary cyclopentane-1,3-diyl radical cation 1(*+) changes the stereochemical course of the rearrangement from complete stereoselectivity (stereochemical memory) for the structurally simple housane 1b to partial loss of stereoselectivity through competing conformational interconversion for the tricyclic housane 1c. Additional cyclohexane annelation, as in the tetracyclic housane 1a, results in complete loss of stereocontrol through Curtin-Hammett behavior, as substantiated by the viscosity dependence on the product ratio of the rearrangement. Whereas in the radical cations 1b(*+) and 1c(*+) the 1,2-shifts (k(2) and k(3)) are faster than the conformational anti <==> syn change (k(1), k(-1)), the reverse applies for the radical cation 1a(*+). Such structural manipulation of conformational effects in radical cation rearrangements has hitherto not been documented.  相似文献

Calculations of three-electron atomic systems in Hylleraas coordinates require integrals involving all the interparticle distances r(ij), which have usually been evaluated by introducing series expansions. For integrals with the smallest powers of r(ij) these expansions do not converge at a satisfactory rate, leading some investigators to introduce convergence-acceleration procedures. This paper recommends the alternative of evaluating these integrals in closed form and presents stable explicit formulas for so doing. Some of the formulas are more compact versions of those in the literature; others have not been previously reported. It is also shown that finite-difference methods can be used with advantage to obtain additional low-order integrals. Sample integral values have been provided for test purposes.  相似文献

The titanocene silyl hydride complexes [Ti(Cp)2(PMe3)(H)(SiR3)] [SiR3=SiMePhCl (6), SiPh2Cl (7), SiMeCl2 (8), SiCl3 (9)] were prepared by HSiR3 addition to [Ti(Cp)2(PMe3)2] and were studied by NMR and IR spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (for 6, 8, and 9), and DFT calculations. Spectroscopic and structural data established that these complexes exhibit nonclassical Ti-H-Si-Cl interligand hypervalent interactions. In particular, the observation of silicon-hydride coupling constants J(Si,H) in 6-9 in the range 22-40 Hz, the signs of which we found to be negative for 8 and 9, is conclusive evidence of the presence of a direct Si-H bond. The analogous reaction of [Ti(Cp)2(PMe3)2] with HSi(OEt)3 does not afford the expected classical silyl hydride complex [Ti(Cp)2(PMe3)(H)[Si(OEt)3]], and instead NMR-silent titanium (apparently TiIII) complex(es) and the silane redistribution product Si(OEt)4 are formed. The structural data and DFT calculations for the compounds [Ti(Cp)2(PMe3)(H)(SiR3)] show that the strength of interligand hypervalent interactions in the chlorosilyl complexes decreases as the number of chloro groups on silicon increases. However, in the absence of an Si-bound electron-withdrawing group trans to the Si-H moiety, a silane sigma complex is formed, characterized by a long Ti-Si bond of 2.658 A and short Si-H contact of 1.840 A in the model complex [Ti(Cp)2(PMe3)(H)(SiMe3)]. Both the silane sigma complexes and silyl hydride complexes with interligand hypervalent interactions exhibit bond paths between the silicon and hydride atoms in Atoms in Molecules (AIM) studies. To date a classical titanocene phosphane silyl hydride complex without any Si-H interaction has not been observed, and therefore titanocene silyl hydrides are, depending on the nature of the R groups on Si, either silane sigma complexes or compounds with an interligand hypervalent interaction.  相似文献

This paper demonstrates development of electrophoretically mediated micro analysis (EMMA), for screening protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) inhibitors in natural extracts. It is demonstrated that capillary electrophoresis (CE) separation of the substrate and the product allows for using the assay in an on-column format to monitor the reaction without typically used fluorogenic substrates. Michaelis-Menten kinetics parameters calculated based on the EMMA results (Km = 1.2-1.5 microM) were in a good agreement (Km = 1.0-1.5 microM) obtained using an off-line CE functional assay (CE FA). EMMA of PTP titrated with different concentrations of ligand demonstrated the peak-shift phenomenon normally seen in affinity capillary electrophoresis. This feature of EMMA gives an indication of the binding affinity of the ligand in addition to its functional activity, providing another dimension in characterization of the protein-inhibitor interaction. It was demonstrated that simultaneous screening of the primary PTP target and a secondary, counter target (PTP-C) using the EMMA format can be used to prioritize hits based on their specificity.  相似文献

SrCu2(PO4)2 was prepared by the solid-state method at 1153 K. Its structure was solved by direct methods in the space group Pccn (No. 56) with Z = 8 from synchrotron X-ray powder diffraction data measured at room temperature. Structure parameters were then refined by the Rietveld method to obtain the lattice parameters, a = 7.94217(8) A, b = 15.36918(14) A, and c = 10.37036(10) A. SrCu2(PO4)2 presents a new structure type and is built up from Sr2O16 and Cu1Cu2O8 units with Cu1...Cu2 = 3.256 A. The magnetic properties of SrCu2(PO4)2 were investigated by magnetic susceptibility, magnetization up to 65 T, Cu nuclear quadrupole resonance (NQR), electron-spin resonance, and specific heat measurements. With spin-dimer analysis, it was shown that the two strongest spin-exchange interactions between Cu sites result from the Cu1-O...O-Cu2 and Cu2-O...O-Cu2 super-superexchange paths with Cu1...Cu2 = 5.861 A and Cu2...Cu2 = 5.251 A, and the superexchange associated with the structural dimer Cu1Cu2O8 is negligible. The magnetic susceptibility data were analyzed in terms of a linear four-spin cluster model, Cu1-Cu2-Cu2-Cu1 with -2J(1)/kB = 82.4 K for Cu1-Cu2 and -2J(2)/k(B) = 59 K for Cu2-Cu2. A spin gap deduced from this model (Delta/kB = 63 K) is in agreement with that obtained from the Cu NQR data (Delta/kB = 65 K). A one-half magnetization plateau was observed between approximately 50 and 63 T at 1.3 K. Specific heat data show that SrCu2(PO4)2 does not undergo a long-range magnetic ordering down to 0.45 K. SrCu2(PO4)2 melts incongruently at 1189 K. We also report its vibrational properties studied with Raman spectroscopy.  相似文献

Representation of zero curvature for the system of essentially nonlinear partial differential equations \(x_{\alpha ,z\bar z} = exp\left( {\sum\nolimits_{\beta = 1}^r {k_{\alpha \beta } x_\beta } } \right),1 \leqslant \alpha \leqslant r\) , with an arbitrary numeral matrix k is constructed in an explicit form. On the basis of this representation we give an invariant integration method for the system when k coincides with the Cartan matrix of simple Lie algebra of rank r. New P,P-bidentate diastereomeric diphosphoramidite chiral ligands with mixed stereogenic elements and a C1 backbone symmetry have been prepared from (Sa)- and (Ra)-1,1′-binaphthyl-2,2′-diol (BINOL) and (S)-N-benzyl-1-(pyrrolidin-2-yl)methanamine and are fully characterized. The use of these ligands provides up to 84% ee in the Pd-catalyzed asymmetric allylic substitution of (E)-1,3-diphenylallyl acetate and up to 95% ee in the Rh-catalyzed asymmetric hydrogenation of α-dehydrocarboxylic acid esters. The results indicate that the catalytic performance is highly affected by the axial chirality of the binaphthyl moieties of the ligand and the nature of the solvent.  相似文献
