Source images are extracted from two-particle correlations constructed from strange and nonstrange hadrons produced in 6A GeV Au+Au collisions. Very different source images result from pp vs p Lambda vs pi(-)pi(-) correlations. Scaling by transverse mass can describe the apparent source size ratio for p/pi(-) but not for Lambda/pi(-) or Lambda/p. These observations suggest important differences in the space-time emission histories for protons, pions, and neutral strange baryons produced in the same events. 相似文献

The lifetime of the first excited state in99Sr has been determined by the delayed γ-γ coincidence method. The value of t/2=0.58(9) ns corresponds to a deformation parameter ß=0.38(4). The deduced z> value confirms the previously proposed ν[411]3/2 Nilsson assignment for the99Sr ground state. In addition, lifetime values for the 2+ (t1/2=0.40(8) ns) and 0+ (t1/2=5.36(23) ns) states in100Zr are obtained, which deviate from older measurements and indicate a larger deformation of ß=0.39(4). 相似文献

The reactions58Ni+102Pd→160W and58Ni+106Cd→164Os were investigated to search for new decay data of neutron deficient nuclei. Excitation energies of the compound nuclei covered a range from 47 to 89 MeV. Velocity separation of the evaporation residues and position time correlations with the a decays of the implanted nuclei were used. The following new decay data were measured:162Os (Eα=(6611 ±30) keV, T1/2=(1.9±0.7) ms);158W (T1/2=(0.9±0.3) ms);158mW (E=1.88 MeV, Eα=(8280±30) keV, T1/2=(0.01-1) ms);155mLu (Eα=(5575±10) keV); β decay of156Ta (T1/2 > 10 ms) to the 8+ yrast isomer in156Hf. A cross section of 5μb was measured for the new isotope156Ta produced in a p3n evaporation channel from160W at 64 MeV excitation energy. 相似文献

《Physics letters. [Part B]》1993,300(4):393-399We employ a non-relativistic version of QCD (NRQCD) to study heavy
bound states in the lowest approximation without fine structure. We use gluon configurations on a 63×48 lattice at β=6.2 from the UKQCD Collaboration. For a bare quark mass near that of the b-quark (Ma=1.6) we obtain the bound state masses for the S-, P- and both types of D-waves. We also detect signals for two types of hybriges (
states). The results are sufficiently accurate to confirm that the values of the D-wave mass from both D-waves coincide thus indicating that the cubical invariance of the lattice is restored to full rotational invariance to a good approximation. We also study S- and P-wave masses for values of the range of bare quark mass Ma=1.0, 1.3, 1.6 and 1.9. The results confirm the idea that the S/P-splitting is relatively insensitive to the value of the bare quark mass. 相似文献

f=2 flavours of light quarks, this is the so-called η
2 meson and we discuss the phenomenological status of this meson. Using maximally twisted-mass lattice QCD, we extract the
mass of the η
2 meson at two values of the lattice spacing for lighter quarks than previously discussed in the literature. We are able to
