Human milk is an intricate, bioactive food promoting infant health. We studied the composition of human milk samples collected over an 8-month lactation using 1H NMR metabolomics. A total of 72 human breast milk samples were collected from ten Chinese mothers at eight different time points. The concentrations of ten human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs), fucose and lactose were quantified. Six of the mothers were classified as Lewis-positive secretors (Se+Le+) and four as Lewis-positive non-secretors (Se−Le+) based on the levels of 2′-fucosyllactose (2′-FL), lacto-N-fucopentaose (LNFP) II, lactodifucotetraose (LDFT) and lacto-N-neotetraose (LNnT). Acetate, citrate, short/medium-chain fatty acids, glutamine and urea showed a time-dependent trend in relation to the stage of lactation. The concentrations of 2′-FL, 3-FL (3-fucosyllactose), 3′-SL (3′-sialyllactose), LDFT, LNFP I, LNFP II, LNFP III, LNnT, LNT (lacto-N-tetraose), and fucose were statistically different between secretors and non-secretors. A temporal difference of approximately 1–2 months between the development of non-secretor and secretor HMO profiles was shown. In the present study, a supramolecular solvent was formed from reverse micelle aggregates of octanol. The proposed supramolecular solvent was used for rapid extraction of some antidepressants drugs including amitriptyline, imipramine, desipramine, maprotiline, sertraline, and doxepin from biological samples. Alkanol‐based supramolecular solvents have a unique array of physicochemical properties, making them a very attractive alternative to replace organic solvents in analytical extractions. The parameters affecting the extraction of target analytes (i.e., the volume of tetrahydrofuran and octanol as the major components comprising the supramolecular solvent, chain length of alkanols, sample solution pH, salt addition, and ultrasonic time) were investigated and optimized by factor by factor optimization method. Under the optimum conditions, preconcentration factors of 470, 490, 460, 385, 370, and 430 were obtained for amitriptyline, doxepin, imipramine, desipramine, maprotiline, and sertraline, respectively. The linear ranges and coefficients of determination (R2) were obtained in the range of 0.01–100 μg/L and 0.9974–0.9991, respectively. Also the limits of detection (S/N = 3) of 0.003–0.03 μg/L, and precisions (n = 5) of 4.9–8.9% were calculated. Finally, the method was successfully applied for the extraction of antidepressant drugs in biological samples, and relative recoveries in the range of 91–102% were obtained. 相似文献

In this article, the effect of ionization on the energy spectrum of electrons within the interaction of a laser pulse with hydrogen atoms is investigated using particle-in-cell simulation codes. The results show that the behaviour of electrons' energy distribution function in the field-ionized plasma, which occurred due to the field ionization, compared with that in the pre-plasma strongly depends on the pulse shape. For short rise-time pulses (here 30 fs), due to the rapid enhancement of laser electric field, ionization occurs quickly, and as a result, there is not much difference in the electron energy in both the media. However, for pulses with rise time of 40 fs, in the pre-plasma state, the electron population reaches higher energies compared with the field-ionized plasma state. The main reason for this difference is the nonlinear wave breaking that happens earlier due to density inhomogeneity in the field-ionized plasma. On the other hand, at longer rise-time pulses (here 60 and 70 fs), electrons achieve higher energies in the field-ionized plasma than those in the case of pre-plasma. In this case, because of density fluctuations in the field-ionized plasma, the Raman backscattered radiations are seeded by a strong initial noise at the earlier times and the Mendonca condition for chaos threshold is met sooner. Therefore, the electrons gain more energy through the stochastic mechanism that is in agreement with chaotic nature of the motion. 相似文献

We propose a method for analyzing the data for the rates of exchange of various currencies versus the U.S. dollar. The method analyzes the return time series of the data as a Markov process, and develops an effective equation which reconstructs it. We find that the Markov time scale, i.e., the time scale over which the data are Markov-correlated, is one day for the majority of the daily exchange rates that we analyze. We derive an effective Langevin equation to describe the fluctuations in the rates. The equation contains two quantities, D(1) and D(2), representing the drift and diffusion coefficients, respectively. We demonstrate how the two coefficients are estimated directly from the data, without using any assumptions or models for the underlying stochastic time series that represent the daily rates of exchange of various currencies versus the U.S. dollar. 相似文献

Slow amplitude modulation of human voice was approximated by a sinusoidal wave. The theoretical effects of smoothing window size, F0, and modulation frequency on window amplitude average as well as calculated shimmer were mathematically derived. Subsequently, the theoretical predictions were tested using idealized and real voice signals from normal speakers. The theoretical and experimental results suggest that shimmer (when calculated using a smoothing window) is a function of window duration and modulation frequency. Window duration when defined as a constant number of pitch periods varies from speaker to speaker depending on their F0. It may not be desirable to use local smoothing windows with a constant number of cycles for shimmer computation, especially if voices with known low-frequency amplitude modulations but notably different fundamental frequencies are compared. 相似文献

We consider a queueing system with three single servers in tandem with two intermediate buffer storages of finite capacity. The processing times are exponentially distributed and the first server has unlimited number of customers in front of it. Using a negative dependence property between the number of customers at the first and second buffer storages we show that a popular form of decomposition approach applied to this model, indeed, provides a lower bound for its performance. The approach used here to establish the bound is new and could be extended to establish bounds for other types of tandem queues with finite buffer spaces. 相似文献

In this study, in order to differentiate cavernous hemangioma and hepatic metastases, rapid acquisition relaxation enhanced (RARE) sequence was used. First, in vivo measurements of T1, T2 relaxation times and proton density were obtained using T1, T2 calculation protocol (TOMIKON S50, 0.5T) and multipoint techniques. These measurements were made from regions of interest placed over the liver, spleen (because of similarity of relaxation time values between hepatic metastases and spleen) and cavernous hemangioma (HCH). Based on these intrinsic parameters, T2 curves signal intensity of three different tissues were constructed. At TE = 500 ms, the signal intensity of the liver and spleen has been near zero whereas in HCH, the signal intensity remained. As RARE sequence is very similar to spin echo (SE), by replacing effective TE(ETE) = 500 ms in the RARE equation, two dimensional contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR) contour plots were constructed demonstrating signal intensity contrast between liver-spleen, liver-Hemangioma for two different scan times (3 min, 7.5 s) and pulse timing. Then, optimal RARE factor and inter echo times were obtained in order to have maximum CNR between liver-Hemangioma and minimum CNR between liver-spleen. These optimal parameters were performed on ten normal and five persons with known HCH. Images showed that in both scan times (3 min, 7.5 s); the liver and spleen were suppressed whereas the HCH was enhanced. The image quality in the scan time of 3 min was better than the scan time of 7.5 s. Moreover, in this study, two different sequences were compared: i) Multi-slice single echo (MSSE) for T1 weighted image ii) RARE (ETE = 80 ms) for T2-weighted image. This comparison was done to show maximum CNR between liver-spleen (metastases) and to choose a better sequence for detecting metastases. Recent findings on the dynamical analysis of human locomotion characteristics such as stride length signal have shown that this process is intrinsically a chaotic behavior. The passive walking has been defined as walking down a shallow slope without using any muscular contraction as an active controller. Based on this definition, some knee-less models have been proposed to present the simplest possible models of human gait. To maintain stability, these simple passive models are compelled to show a wide range of different dynamics from order to chaos. Unfortunately, based on simplifications, for many years the cyclic period-one behavior of these models has been considered as the only stable response. This assumption is not in line with the findings about the nature of walking. Thus, this paper proposes a novel model to demonstrate that the knee-less passive dynamic models also have the ability to model the chaotic behavior of human locomotion with some modifications. The presented novel model can show chaotic behavior as a stable and acceptable answer using a chaotic function in heel-strike condition. The represented chaotic model is also able to simulate different types of motor deficits such as Parkinson’s disease only by manipulating the value of chaotic parameter. Our model has extensively examined in complexity and chaotic behavior using different analytical methods such as fractal dimension, bifurcation and largest Lyapunov exponent, and it was compared with conventional passive models and the stride signal of healthy subjects and Parkinson patients. 相似文献

In the present study, two new zinc complexes with the chemical formulas of [Zn(2-Ampy)(Acac)2] (I) and [Zn(p-Van)2(H2O)2] (II) were synthesized and characterized by FT-IR, 1H NMR, and UV-Vis spectroscopy. Moreover, the crystal structures of the complexes were determined by X-ray diffraction technique. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses (CIF files CCDC nos. 1513672 (I) and 1513673 (II)) revealed that complex I has a distorted square pyramid environment, and complex II has a distorted octahedral geometry. The complexes were also screened for in vitro antibacterial activities against some bacteria. The results show that complexes have the effective antibacterial activities. The complexes were employed to prepare ZnO nanoparticles by the combustion synthesis method at 700°C for 8 h. The nanoparticles were characterized, using powder X-ray diffraction analysis (PXRD), scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscope. PXRD analysis showed the presence of pure phase in both samples. Furthermore, the crystallite size was approximately 37 and 42 nm for ZnO prepared from complexes I and II, respectively. 相似文献
