The quaternary halide Cs2AgCrCl6 was prepared in the form of dark purple crystals by reaction of CsCl, AgCl, and CrCl3, at 700 °C. It crystallizes in the trigonal Ba2NiTeO6‐type structure [space group R3 m, Z = 6, a = 7.2692(4) Å, c = 36.443(2) Å] belonging to the family of perovskite polytypes containing sequences of hexagonal close‐packed layers. Groups of three face‐sharing octahedra, which are occupied in the sequence Ag–Cr–Ag, are connected through corner‐sharing by Cr‐centered octahedra. The UV/Vis/NIR diffuse reflectance spectrum shows absorptions arising from d–d transitions typical of octahedral Cr3+ complexes, as confirmed by electronic structure calculations. The compound melts at 506 °C. Magnetic measurements revealed simple paramagnetic behavior consistent with the presence of isolated Cr3+ ions.  相似文献

Reaction of the title compound with hydrazine in the presence of air gives the 1-unsubstituted parent system via oxidative dehydrazination of the 1-hydrazino intermediate. The latter can be obtained in high yield by carrying out the hydrazinolysis step under inert gas, and it is smoothly converted into [1,2,4]-triazolo[4',3':1,6]pyridazino[4,5- b]indoles.  相似文献

In this study, we synthesized tungsten oxide (WO3) nanoplates, both crystallographic phases and the morphology of the samples were determined by powder x-ray diffraction and the scanning electron microscopy, respectively. The obtained data clarified that, the all prepared WO3·H2O samples were composed of large quantity of nanoplates. The cytotoxicity patterns of nanoplates were checked on both normal and cancer mammalian cell lines. Both nanoplates cytotoxicity did not exceed the 50 % inhibitory concentration (IC50) on the all normal tested cells even by using concentrations up to 1 mg/ml. In addition, orthorhombic tungsten oxide nanoplate was more potent against both Caco2 and Hela cells by showing inhibition percentages in cellular viability 64.749 and 72.27, respectively, and with cancer selectivity index reached 3.2 and 2.6 on both colon and cervix cancer, respectively. The anticancer effects of nanoplates were translated to alteration in both pro-apoptotic and anti-apoptotic genes expressions. Tungsten oxide nanoplates down regulated the expression of B cell lymphoma 2 (Bcl-2) and metalloproteinase-7 (MMP7) genes. In addition, orthorhombic tungsten oxide nanoplates showed more potentiation in IL2 and IL8 induction (40.43 pg/ml) and upregulation of TNF-α gene expression but with lower folds than Escherichia coli lipopolysaccharide (LPS) induction.  相似文献

Aluminum sacrificial anodes are currently the first choice for cathodic protection in numerous applications. The galvanic performance of aluminum-based sacrificial anodes is considerably enhanced by addition of certain alloying elements called activators. Recent researches proved that incorporation of specific metal oxides like MnO2, CeO2, RuO2, and IrO2 into the aluminum matrix could enhance the galvanic efficiency of aluminum anodes; however, the mechanism by which metal oxides improve galvanic properties of aluminum is still subject to discussion. The present work investigates the effect of incorporating commercially available low-cost manganese dioxide concentrate into Al-5Zn-0.1Sn sacrificial anodes in different volume fractions. It also studies the influence of heat treatment on anode’s galvanic performance by performing solution treatment at 3 different temperatures (250 °C, 400 °C, 550 °C). The electrochemical testing results proved an increase in efficiency of anodes incorporated with metal oxides and solution treated at 550 °C. The SEM imaging and EDX elemental mapping declared that the presence of SiO2 particles in the anode matrix which might cause effective and uniform corrosion of Al anodes and decreased non-coulombic losses.

This work aimed to use abietic acid (AA), as a widely available natural product, as a precursor for the synthesis of two new amphiphilic ionic liquids (AILs) and apply them as effective demulsifiers for water-in-crude oil (W/O) emulsions. AA was esterified using tetraethylene glycol (TEG) in the presence of p-toluene sulfonic acid (PTSA) as a catalyst obtaining the corresponding ester (AATG). AATG was reacted with 1-vinylimidazole (VIM) throughout the Diels–Alder reaction, forming the corresponding adduct (ATI). Following this, ATI was quaternized using alkyl iodides, ethyl iodide (EI), and hexyl iodide (HI) to obtain the corresponding AILs, ATEI-IL, and ATHI-IL, respectively. The chemical structure, surface activity, thermal stability, and relative solubility number (RSN) were investigated using different techniques. The efficiency of ATEI-IL and ATHI-IL to demulsify W/O emulsions in different crude oil: brine volumetric ratios were evaluated. ATEI-IL and ATHI-IL achieved promising results as demulsifiers. Their demulsification efficiency increased as the brine ratios decreased where their efficiency reached 100% at the crude oil: brine ratio (90:10), even at low concentrations.  相似文献
