Theoretical and experimental investigation of x-band two-cavity gyroklystron

Using self-consistent field theory, the interaction of electron flow with HF fields in a gyroklystron has been analized. Optimal parameters of its output cavity corresponding to the maximum efficiency have been found. Experimental study of dependence of the efficiency on Q-factor and length of the output cavity has been carried out. The results of simulation are in good qualitative agreement with experimental data.     

A Remark on Subgroup Separability in the Class of Finite π-Groups

We prove that if a group G is residually , then for every -subgroup of the group G, the set of -roots from this subgroup is a -separable -subgroup.     

Fluctuation-dominated kinetics in the a+b→0 reaction between immobile particles

We consider the accumulation of immobile particles landing on a one-dimensional lattice and annihilating via the A + B 0 bimolecular reaction. Here we focus on short-range interactions with cutoff. We investigate through computer simulations both the kinetics of the particles' accumulation and also their spatial distribution. The relation between the exponents describing the growth of the particles' concentration and the correlation length of their distribution shows that the kinetics of accumulation is fluctuation-dominated.This work is dedicated to Prof. George H. The effect of chemical composition of a crystallization medium on the cBN stoichiometry

Abstract

The effect of chemical composition of the crystallization medium in synthesis on and some properties of cubic boron nitride (cBN) has been studied. Cubic BN crystals with the lowest free boron content and a boron-nitrogen ratio close to the stoichiometric one are grown in a multicomponent crystallization medium in a Li₃N-BN system. These crystals are characterized by a higher strength and thermal stability.     

Definition of boundary values of thickness of chrome coverings of piston rings
