Chimie des complexes de metaux de transition avec des hydrocarbures cyanes : III. Quelques observations sur la conformation et la reactivite de complexes dicyclopentadienyles du molybdene et du tungstene

A new class of cyclic telluronium salts has been prepared. All the salts are stable in solution in CHCl₃ or dimethylsulphoxide (DMSO). Conductivity measurements in DMSO and dimethylformamide (DMF) have shown that considerable ion pairing occurs in solution. Infrared, ¹H, ¹³C, ¹²⁵Te NMR, and mass spectra are reported and discussed.     

Synthesis of fused triazolothienopyrimidine derivatives

Reactions of substituted 1-(thieno[2,3-d]pyrimidin-2-yl)-4-arylthiosemicarbazides with methyl iodide led to the formation of fused triazolothienopyrimidine derivatives.     

FLUORESCENCE SPECTRA IN LUNG WITH PORPHYRIN INJECTION

The fluorescence emission spectra from human bronchial mucosa and tumors, before and after injection of dihematoporphyrin ether/ester, have been measured with an optical multichannel analyzer from 500 to 750 nm. Fluorescence was excited with a violet krypton ion laser (average wavelength 410 nm). The autofluorescence spectra decrease monotonically with increasing wavelength except for a small broad peak near 600 nm. The spectra from tumor sites, after injection of the fluorescent porphyrin, exhibit the characteristic fluorescence emission at 630 and 690 nm, added to the autofluorescence spectrum. The spectra from control or nontumor sites are similar but the magnitude of the component due to the injected porphyrin is smaller than at a tumor site. The magnitude ratio of tumor to control site fluorescence depends on concentration of the porphyrin, tumor thickness, and time after injection. Autofluorescence degrades contrast and thus makes very thin tumors difficult to image. Subtraction of the autofluorescence background is desirable.     

Evolution of Statistical Ensembles of Microdomains on the Surface of Films of Rigid-Chain Polyimide during Thermal Imidization

Statistical ensembles of microdomains formed on the surface of polyimide films based on pyromellitic dianhydride and 2,7-diaminofluorene during thermal imidization were described in terms of the model of reversible aggregation using the electron-microscopic data. Parameters of the statistical distribution were determined for each ensemble depending on the film heating temperature.
