We consider the sine series $$\mathop \sum \limits_{k = 1}^\infty a_k \sin kx$$ with monotone coefficients tending to zero and denote byg(x) its sum. We establish estimates of the integral ∝¦g¦dx over a given subinterval of (0,π]. These estimates are uniform with respect to the coefficientsa _k and the endpoints of the subinterval. In the particular case wheng is not integrable over the period, we get an asymptotic estimate of the growth order of the integral over [∈, π] as∈↓+0. It is of the same form as in the case of series with convex coefficients. We compare the estimates of the integrals ofg with those of the corresponding integrals of the majorant of the partial sums of series (1). We obtain also estimates of the integral modulus of continuity of order s of the functiong, which are uniform with respect to all parameters.

Let σ _n ² (f, x) be the Cesàro means of second order of the Fourier expansion of the function f. Upper bounds of the deviationf(x)-σ _n ² (f, x) are studied in the metricC, while f runs over the class \(\bar W^1 C\) , i. e., of the deviation $$F_n^2 (\bar W^1 ,C) = \mathop {\sup }\limits_{f \in \bar W^1 C} \left\| {f(x) - \sigma _n^2 (f,x)} \right\|_c$$ . It is proved that the function $$g^* (x) = \frac{4}{\pi }\mathop \sum \limits_{v = 0}^\infty ( - 1)^v \frac{{\cos (2v + 1)x}}{{(2v + 1)^2 }}$$ , for whichg ^*′(x)=sign cosx, satisfies the following asymptotic relation: $$F_n^2 (\bar W^1 ,C) = g^* (0) - \sigma _n^2 (g^* ,0) + O\left( {\frac{1}{{n^4 }}} \right)$$ , i.e.g ^* is close to the extremal function. This makes it possible to find some of the first terms in the asymptotic formula for \(F_n^2 (\bar W^1 ,C)\) asn → ∞. The corresponding problem for approximation in the metricL is also considered.     

Enantioseparation of Novel Amino Analogs of Indole Phytoalexins on Macrocyclic Glycopeptide-Based Chiral Stationary Phase

Direct chiral separation of the enantiomers of spirobrassinin, 1-methoxyspirobrassinin and ten novel cis- and trans-diastereoisomers of 2-amino analogs of indole phytoalexin 1-methoxyspirobrassinol methyl ether on macrocyclic glycopeptide-based chiral stationary phase (CSP) with teicoplanin (Chirobiotic T) was studied. Normal phase eluents containing n-hexane with modifiers ethanol and 2-propanol were used. The effects of mobile phase composition, structure of the analytes and temperature were investigated. Chiral resolution on teicoplanin CSP was achieved only in the case of trans-diastereoisomers. The van??t Hoff plots were found to show linear behavior in all cases. It was found that studied normal phase enantioseparations were enthalpy driven. The elution order of the enantiomers was determined in some cases.     

Обобшённые ряды Хаара и их применение

В работе построены раэложения тождественного оператора в пространстве L _p (I ^d ) в кратные ряды иэ ортопроекционных операторов на вэаимно ортогональные подпространства кусочно-полиномиальных функции, частным случаем которых является ряд Хаара. Юстановлены оценки норм в L _p (I ^d ) соответствуюших проекции. С их помошью получены оценки колмогоровского n-поперечника в пространстве L ₂(I ^d ) для единичных щаров пространств Никольского и QBесова функции, удовлетворяюших смещанным условиям Гёльдера, даюшие порядок тои величины.

Es wird über Untersuchungen zur quantitativen Bestimmung von Rubidium, Strontium und Kupfer im ppm- bzw. ppb- Bereich mit Hilfe der Isotopenverdünnungsanalyse mit stabilen Nukliden berichtet. Die erreichten Nachweisgrenzen und Standardabweichungen werden angegeben. Die Anwendung der Analysenmethode bei der Untersuchung von hochreinen Materialien und zur Altersdatierung von Gesteinen wird erläutert.

Реэуме. Вводятся понятия обобшеннои частнои проиэводнои и обобшенного оератора Лапласа для функции многих переменных. Докаэана теоремы типа теоремы Фату о граничных своиствах частхых проиэводных интегралал Пуассона для полупространства, когда плотностя интеграла имеет обобшеннуу частнуу проиэводнуу и обобшенныи оператор Лапласа.     

On local summability of Riesz potentials in the case Reα>0

The rangeI ^α (L _p ) of the Riesz potential operator, defined in the sense of distributions in the casep≥n/α, is shown to consist of regular distributions. Moreover, it is shown thatI ^α (L _p ) ?L _p ^loc (R ⁿ ) for all 1≤p<∞ and 0<α<∞. The distribution space used is that of Lizorkin, which is invariant with respect to the Riesz operator.
