Effect of the Pulse Duty Cycle on Characteristics of Plasma Electrolytic Oxidation Coatings Formed on AZ31 Magnesium Alloy

Ceramic coatings are synthesized on AZ31 magnesium alloy in alkaline silicate solution by the method of plasma electrolytic oxidation. The effect of two different duty cycles (10% and 50%) on the structure and corrosive properties of the coatings is investigated. It is found that the coatings are mainly composed of MgO, Mg2SiO4 and MgF2 through XRD analysis. SEM images indicate that coatings formed at 50% duty cycle have a relatively coarse surface with larger pore size and fewer pores, and have a slower growth rate than those formed at 10% duty cycle with the same treatment time. However, the results of potentiodynamic polarization tests demonstrate that coatings formed at 50% duty cycle exhibit better corrosion resistance as a result of more compact microstructure. 相似文献

Ceramic coatings are fabricated on pure aluminium by plasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO) in three kinds of electrolyte systems [E1: 0.05M NaOH+0.033M Na2SiO3, E2: 0.025M NaOH+0.008M (NAPO3)6 and E3: 0.025M NaOH+0.066M Na2SiO3+0.008M (NAPO3)6]. The voltage-time responses show that the PEO process of E2 has the highest discharging voltage, which results in the biggest pores and heaviest cracks on the surfaces. X-ray diffraction results show that coatings produced in E1 and E3 are mainly composed of γ-Al2O3 and mullite, while coatings produced in E2 are mainly composed of a-Al2O3. After PEO treatment the corrosion resistance of aluminium is improved significantly and the coatings produced in E3 perform the best corrosion resistance. 相似文献

在二维正方Heisenberg铁磁系统的基础上建立了磁振子-声子相互作用模型.利用Matsubara格林函数理论研究了系统的横向声频支声子激发,计算了布里渊区的主要对称点线上的横向声频支声子色散曲线,发现在第一布里渊区的Σ线上,小波矢区(Γ附近kxa<0.2)横向声频支声子有硬化现象,但是在软化区(0.25<kxa<0.7)有横向声频支声子有软化现象,在M附近(0.75<kxa)横向声频支声子有硬化现象.在Δ线上没有发生横向声频支声子有软化与硬化现象.在Z线上小波失区(X附近kxa<0.65)横向声频支声子有软化现象,但是在M附近横向声频支声子有硬化现象.并且又讨论了各项参数对横向声频支声子激发的影响,发现磁振子-声子耦合与自旋波劲度常数对横向声频支声子软化起很大的作用.

本文研究了用汽相沉积法制备SnO2气敏薄膜和SnO2膜的光谱透过率气敏特性。用汽相沉积制备SnO2的方法是利用一个密封的石英管系统,把SnCl4溶液置于系统内,氧气通人系统,然后系统升温使SnCl4气化,通过控制氧气流量、沉积温度和沉积时间等,使气化后的Sn原子与氧原子在一定条件下生成SnO2,沉积在玻璃衬底上。本文用AS-430S俄歇式电子能谱仪测试膜片的主要成分,并用光栅单色仪测试了膜片在乙醇还原性气体中的气敏特性。实验结果表明:与热喷法制备的SnO2膜比较,沉积法具有工艺重复性好,可以控制沉积膜的厚度,灵敏度高等优点。因此,可制备出有选择性的“气敏-光透过率”型气敏传感器。 相似文献

In recent years, significant increases in waste processing and material engineering have been seen by using advanced oxidation processes. The treatment results and energy yields of these processes are largely determined by the generation and retention of reactive oxygen species (ROS). However, increasing the amount of ROS remains a key challenge because of the unavailability of performance- and energy-efficient techniques. In this study, plasma electrolysis, ultrasound, and plasma electrolysis combined with ultrasound were used to treat dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) solutions, and the results showed that the two methods can synergistically convert filament discharge into spark discharge, and the conversion of the discharge mode can significantly increase the concentration of OH radicals and effectively improve the efficiency of DMSO degradation. We verified the rationality of the results by analyzing the mass transfer path of ROS based on the reaction coefficients and found that the ·OH radicals in aqueous solution were mainly derived from the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide. These findings indicated that the synergistic action of plasma electrolysis and ultrasound can enhance the production of chemically reactive species, and provide new insights and guiding principles for the future translation of this combined strategy into real-life applications. Our results demonstrated that the synergistic strategy of ultrasound and plasma electrolysis is feasible in the switching mode and increasing the ROS, and may open new routes for materials engineering and pollutant degradation. 相似文献
