Pressure-Induced Shift of R-Line of MgO:Cr3+ with Electron-Phonon Interaction Effect

By means of improved ligand-field theory, the "pure electronic" pressure-induced shift (PS) and the PS due to electron-phonon interaction (EPI) of R-line of MgO:Cr3 have been calculated, respectively. The calculated results are in very good agreement with the experimental data. The behaviors of the pure electronic PS of R-line of MgO:Cr3 and the PS of its R-line due to EPI are different. It is the combined effect of them that gives rise to the total PS of R-line, which has satisfactorily explained the experimental results. The comparison between the feature of R-line PS of MgO:Cr3 and that of R1-line PS of ruby has been made.     

Quantum Corrections to the Radiation of Schwarzschild-anti-de Sitter Black Hole with Topological Defect

We extend Zhang and Zhao＇s recent work to the Schwarzschild-anti-de Sitter black hole with topological defect, whose Arnowitt-Deser-Misner （ADM） mass is no longer identical to its mass parameter. The behavior of the tunneling massive particle is investigated and the emission rate is calculated. The result satisfies an underlying unitary theory and takes the same functional form as that of the mass-less particle.

A theorem on Butterworth matching for piezoelectric ceramic emission transducer

A theorem on Butterworth matching for piezoelectric ceramic emission transducer is presented and proved.The complicated problem of broad-band matching is changed to a simple arithmetical one due to explicit formulas of the theorem.It is shown in an example that after matching,bandwidth of the transducer increases remarkably while the power gain is close to 1.
