多气隙电阻板室的时间特性研究

一种具有10个气隙的多气隙电阻板室,在欧洲核子研究中心实验束上进行了性能测试.该探测器采用几何上串联和电极上并联的特殊结构,使用国产玻璃(厚度1?.1mm)作为高压电极,有效灵敏面积为200mm×63mm²,并具有2×6读出条.对7GeV/c的π^－粒子,其探测效率大于99%,时间分辨达到45ps.     

闪烁晶体γ能谱拟合方法的比较

为了确定低光产额的闪烁晶体的光输出,人们发展了很多方法来拟合闪烁晶体的γ谱.本文对这些方法同时用模拟谱和实验谱进行了比较,不但考察了它们的拟合结果对真实值的偏差和对光产额相对变化的反映能力,还研究了这些方法在本底和拟合区间变化时的稳定性.     

A new type of Time-Of-Propagation (TOP) Cherenkov detector for particle identification

A new type of particle identification (PID) detector based on measurements of 1-D Time-Of-Propagation (TOP) and 1-D space information is described. Geant4 toolkit is used to simulate the propagation of Cherenkov photon in thin quartz bar radiator. Contributions to the timing uncertainty are discussed. The π/K separability (S₀) is defined and its dependence on the particle momentum, incident angle and propagation length are studied, respectively.     

Research on the delay-line readout for GEM detectors

Based on the principles of transmission line and the output signal of GEM detector, a full simulation model of delay-line circuit has been described in this paper. The consistency of simulation results and experimental data shows that the method is very effective for the design of delay-line readout.     

MRPC噪声和暗电流对温度和工作高压的依赖

不同混合气体不同高压,6个气隙的阻性板室工作在不同的环境温度下,测试其噪声和漏电流.噪声和漏电流随温度升高指数上升.     

A cosmic ray test platform based on high time resolution MRPC technology

In order to test the performance of detector prototypes in a laboratory environment, we design and build a large area (90 cm×52 cm) test platform for cosmic rays based on a well-designed Multi-gap Resistive Plate Chamber (MRPC) with excellent time resolution and a high detection efficiency for minimum ionizing particles. The time resolution of the MRPC module used is tested to be ～80 ps, and the position resolution along the strip is ～5 mm, while the position resolution perpendicular to the strip is ～12.7 mm. The platform constructed by four MRPC modules can be used for tracking cosmic rays with a spatial resolution of ～6.3 mm, and provide a reference time ～40 ps.     

BESⅢ端盖TOF探测器的研制

针对BESⅢ端盖TOF的研制方案, 设计和制作了特殊构型的闪烁探测器. 研究了光电倍增管(R5924)和塑料闪烁体(BC404, BC408, EJ204)的性能. 测量了几种包装材料对单个闪烁探测器模块光收集和本征时间分辨的影响. 使用800MeV实验电子束对探测器模块的测量结果显示, 采用EJ204和BC404晶体其时间分辨小于80ps; 采用ESR材料包装可获得较大的输出信号, 提高了探测器的性能.     

一台高计数率GEM X射线成像装置原型

研制一种新型的三层级联倍增GEM气体探测器,其有效增益达到10⁵,用于高亮度X射线成像.设计和制作了的精密的微条读出和信号引出方法,采用高速SCSI接口的机箱控制器及计算机控制系统,用于该探测器的射线定位测量,在此基础上建立了一台GEM-X射线成像装置原型.实验结果显示：在X射线强度为10⁵Hz/mm,其增益稳定性<1%,位置分辨<100μm,并获得了清晰的两维图像.     

BESⅢ端盖TOF时间分辨的束流测试

使用800MeV的电子束对BESⅢ端盖飞行时间探测器(TOF)模块的性能进行测试. 研究了塑料闪烁体的包装材料、光电倍增管(PMT)的工作电压、电子束入射位置对单个TOF模块的本征时间分辨的影响，并给出了测量时间与信号幅度和粒子击中位置的修正方法. 实验结果显示:使用Tyvek纸包装，闪烁体在安装PMT的一端有45°斜面, 电子击中在TOF模块不同位置其本征时间分辨在70—90ps范围内.     

一种精密触发定时系统

提出并研制了一种精密触发定时系统.它主要利用多个光电倍增管和闪烁体组成的探测系统,对同一事件的时间信息进行多次测量.通过对多个时间信息的离线处理,来获得时间分辨为57ps的精密触发定时系统.该系统可以用于快时间探测器性能的研究.
