Implementation of upper limit calculation for a Poisson variable by Bayesian approach

The calculation of Bayesian confidence upper limit for a Poisson variable including both signal and background with and without systematic uncertainties has been formulated. A Fortran 77 routine, BPULE, has been developed to implement the calculation. The routine can account for systematic uncertainties in the background expectation and signal efficiency. The systematic uncertainties may be separately parameterized by a Gaussian, Log-Gaussian or flat probability density function (pdf). Some technical details of BPULE have been discussed.     

Bayesian credible interval construction for Poisson statistics

The construction of the Bayesian credible (confidence) interval for a Poisson observable including both the signal and background with and without systematic uncertainties is presented. Introducing the conditional probability satisfying the requirement of the background not larger than the observed events to construct the Bayesian credible interval is also discussed. A Fortran routine, BPOCI, has been developed to implement the calculation.     

北京谱仪亮度监测器Bhabha散射截面的蒙特卡罗计算

在北京谱仪亮度监测器和北京正负电子对撞机实际运行参数的条件下,利用精确到α³项的Bhabha事例产生器,计算了亮度监测器的等效积分截面,用它计算北京正负电子对撞机的亮度,其系统误差<3%,实测数据与计算结果有很好的一致性.     

在BEPCⅡ/BESⅢ上寻找η′c和1P1的Monte Carlo研究

使用SimBes(探测器模拟软件)和UGNT(物理事例产生器)模拟了在即将建造的BEPCⅡBESⅢ上寻找η′_c和¹P₁的过程.初步结论是如果收集到3×10⁹ψ(2S)事例,就有能力寻找这两个粒子,而且,寻找η′_c比寻找¹P₁需要更少的ψ(2S)事例.     

北京谱仪端盖簇射计数器的能量分辨及其模拟研究

利用北京谱仪Ｊ／、Ｄｓ能量下端盖簇射计数器（ＥＳＣ）内的ｅ＋ｅ－末态事例，研究了电子簇射在ＥＳＣ中单个计数管的脉冲幅度分布、击中单元总数分布和各读出层的击中单元数分布、沉积能量分布和总沉积能量的分布；得到能量分辨约为２２％在ＳＯＢＥＲ程序框架的基础上采用双高斯分布描述单计数管脉冲幅度谱，ＥＧＳ４描述电磁簇射，考虑了三维磁场分布，完成了ＥＳＣ蒙特卡罗模拟程序，模拟结果与实验数据符合很好。     

利用单举强衰变确定ψ(2S)总数

在单举强子末态研究的基础上,采用比例减除法与归一减除法两种方法确定出ψ(2S)总数为14.0×10⁶,相应的误差为4%.     

忆赵老为我的书作序

 10年前的盛夏,我撰写的《实验物理中的概率和统计》书稿接近完成,想约请一位既有声望、对我又了解的前辈推介,很自然地想到我当研究生时的导师、德高望重的著名核物理学家赵忠尧先生.

研究了具有早期活化储备的可修复系统的解的性态,通过研究系统算子的谱点的分布和求解系统算子的共轭算子进而得到系统的解的渐进稳定性.     

Calibration of RPC-based muon detector at BESⅢ

The calibration algorithm for RPC-based muon detector at BESIII has been developed. The calibration method, calibration error and algorithm performance are studied. The primary results of efficiency and noise at layer, module and strip levels have been calibrated with cosmic ray data. The calibration constants are available for simulation and reconstruction tuning. The results of Monte Carlo and data are also compared to check the validation and reliability of the algorithm.     

国产CsI(TI)晶体辐照损伤实验研究

研究了CsI(Tl)晶体在1.3GeV e^－束形成的电磁辐射场和⁶⁰Co γ辐射场照射后的辐照损伤,测量了晶体光输出和透射率的变化,以及辐射损伤的自然恢复和加热恢复效应.
