We investigate nonlinear Dicke quantum phase transition(QPT) induced by inter-atomic nonlinear interaction and its quantum witness in a cavity-Bose–Einstein-condensate(BEC) system. It is shown that inter-atomic nonlinear interaction in a cavity BEC system can induce first-order Dicke QPT. It is found that this nonlinear Dicke QPT can happen in an arbitrary coupling regime of the cavity and atoms. It is demonstrated that the quantum speed limit time can witness the Dicke QPT through its sudden change at the critical point of the QPT. 相似文献

We propose a scheme for generating bipartite and multipartite entangled squeezed states via the Jaynes-Cummings model with large detuning. Bipartite entanglement of these entangled states is quantified by the concurrence. We also use the N-tangle to compute multipartite entanglement of these multipartite entangled squeezed states. Finally we discuss two limiting cases which arise from r→∞ and r→0, in which the multipartite entangled squeezed state reduces correspondingly into an N-qubit Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger state and an N-qubit W state. 相似文献

We have obtained a k-quantum nonlinear Jaynes-Cummings model for two trapped ions interacting with laser beams resonant to the kth red side-band of the centre-of-mass mode, far from the Lamb-Dicke regime. Based on the scheme of “hot“ trapped-ion quantum computation proposed by Sφrensen and Mφlmer, we construct a set of multi-mode excited logic gates on trapped ions, which may be operated on arbitrary even number of ions selected randomly from a string of ions trapped in a linear trap. We present an approach to generate high-dimensional entangled coherent states between photons by using a dense atomic system in a double electromagnetically induced transparency state. The system under our consideration involves an atomic configuration with six internal states, two weak quantized probe lasers, and two strong classical coupling lasers. Ac-Stark shift of atom levels is caused by an ac-electromagnetic field. As an electromagnetic wave, laser light does induce ac-Stark shift. It is proved experimentally that if the light is linearly polarized, the dynamic polarizability changes with polarization direction. The polarization direction of the linearly-polarized laser is tuned by 720?, and the ac-Stark shifts of the 4S_(1/2),m=±1/2→3D_(5/2,m=±1/2) clock transitions in ~(40)Ca~+ are measured in steps of 10?. The frequency shifts change with laser polarization in a periodical manner and have values opposite to each other. 相似文献

Pig ions are confined in a hyperboloid ion trap. With the rf discharge ^202 Hg isotope lamp, the fluorescence signal of trapped Hg ions is observed. By means of buffer gas cooling, the ionic temperature is reduced. As a result, the trapping time is increased and the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of the fluorescent signal is improved.
