Software alignment of the BESⅢ main drift chamber using the Kalman Filter method

Software alignment is quite important for a tracking detector to reach its ultimate position accuracy and momentum resolution. We developed a new alignment algorithm for the BESⅢ Main Drift Chamber using the Kalman Filter method. Two different types of data which are helix tracks and straight tracks are used to test this algorithm, and the results show that the design and implementation is successful.     

Absolute photon energy calibration for the BESⅢ EMC

The absolute energy calibration with photons from π0＇s for the BESⅢ EMC is discussed. Using 3 million hadronic events, the preliminary results are presented. Precision of about 1% in the photon energy measurement is obtained from crossing check using photons in ψ（2S）→γχc1,2（1P）.     

Calibration of RPC-based muon detector at BESⅢ

The calibration algorithm for RPC-based muon detector at BESIII has been developed. The calibration method, calibration error and algorithm performance are studied. The primary results of efficiency and noise at layer, module and strip levels have been calibrated with cosmic ray data. The calibration constants are available for simulation and reconstruction tuning. The results of Monte Carlo and data are also compared to check the validation and reliability of the algorithm.     

介质运动时的电磁规律

静止时线性、均匀、各向同性的介质，当它运动时变得不再各向同性，其标志是光线和波法线分离，波面形状由球面变成椭球面．本文给出了非各向同性介质与介质运动速度间的定量关系，导出了电磁波在运动介质表面反射和折射的普遍规律．并且就介质的运动方向与介质表面垂直或平行两种特殊情形进行了较为详细的分析。     

Study of BESⅢ MUC offine software with cosmic-ray data

Cosmic-ray data of 90 M events have been collected and used for calibration,alignment as well as detector tuning. A special tracking algorithm for the BESⅢ muon counter is developed and verified with Monte-Carlo simulation and then further confirmed with the cosmic-ray data. The obtained strip resolutions are in good agreement with the design values. A new alignment approach for the BESⅢ muon counter is confirmed with the cosmic-ray data and proposed to be used in future analysis of experimental data.     

完全膜沸腾表面汽化率的测量及数值分析

通过在高温铜板表面上滴加酒精可产生稳定的完全膜沸腾现象.测量了液滴体积与完全汽化时间曲线,得出完全膜沸腾时,下表面的蒸发占体积减少的主要部分,并通过建立数学模型确定了下表面蒸汽膜处的蒸发速率.     

Lagrange multiplier method used in BESⅢ kinematic fitting

In this paper,the kinematic fitting with the Lagrange multiplier method has been studied for BESⅢ experiment.First we introduce the Lagrange multiplier method and implement kinematic constraints.Then we present the performance of the kinematic fitting algorithm.With the kinematic fitting,we can improve the resolution of track parameters and reduce the background.     

利用宇宙线对BESⅢ量能器CsI(Tl)晶体探测器单元的测量

利用宇宙射线进行探测器模型的性能测试是高能物理普遍采用的方法, 其中最重要的步骤之一就是确定宇宙线入射的准确位置和径迹. 多数采用丝室探测器来进行宇宙线的精确定位, 需要很高的造价和复杂的电子学系统. 本文介绍一种简单的定位方法, 采用塑料闪烁体条加波移剂光纤编码读出的方式, 可以实现精度为1cm的定位. 据此建立了一套实验装置, 对BESⅢ电磁量能器CsI(Tl)晶体探测器单元的光输出强度和不均匀性进行了测量.     

电磁场的复矢量表示

在麦克斯韦方程组及洛伦兹力密度公式基础上引入电磁场复矢量,讨论了电磁场普遍规律的新公式,包括对复矢量电磁场的建立,电荷守恒定律,能量守恒定律,电磁场矢势与标势,电磁场动量、能量、张量、相对论协变性等的研究,并和电动力学相比较,得出一些结论.     

四元数在力学和电磁学中的应用

用双四元数表述了相对论力学和电磁规律,所用的方法能够适用于相对论性物理学科的不同领域,有利于形成系统的四元数物理学,由于四元数本身结构上的特点,使得四元数形式的物理量具备了反映四维时空中时间与空间内在联系的功能,从而用了数表述的相对论性物理学在一定程度上为揭示一些貌视无关的自然规律之间本质上的联系提供了可能性。
