Warm-intermediate inflationary universe models in the context of braneworld cosmologies are studied. This study is done in
the weak and strong dissipative regimes. We find that the scalar potentials and dissipation coefficients in terms of the scalar
field evolve as type-power-law and powers of logarithms, respectively. General conditions required for these models to be
realizable are derived and discussed. We also study the scalar and tensor perturbations for each regime. We use recent astronomical

We consider the deterministic generation of entangled multiqubit states by the sequential coupling of an ancillary system to initially uncorrelated qubits. We characterize all achievable states in terms of classes of matrix-product states and give a recipe for the generation on demand of any multiqubit state. The proposed methods are suitable for any sequential generation scheme, though we focus on streams of single-photon time-bin qubits emitted by an atom coupled to an optical cavity. We show, in particular, how to generate familiar quantum information states such as W, Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger, and cluster states within such a framework. 相似文献

We study the nonlocal properties of states resulting from the mixture of an arbitrary entangled state rho of two d-dimensional systems and completely depolarized noise, with respective weights p and 1-p. We first construct a local model for the case in which rho is maximally entangled and p at or below a certain bound. We then extend the model to arbitrary rho. Our results provide bounds on the resistance to noise of the nonlocal correlations of entangled states. For projective measurements, the critical value of the noise parameter p for which the state becomes local is at least asymptotically log(d) larger than the critical value for separability. 相似文献

The performance of a ring of linearly coupled, monostable nonlinear oscillators is optimized towards its goal of acting as energy harvester – through piezoelectric transduction – of mesoscopic fluctuations, which are modeled as Ornstein-Uhlenbeck noises. For a single oscillator, the maximum output voltage and overall efficiency are attained for a soft piecewise-linear potential (providing a weak attractive constant force) but they are still fairly large for a harmonic potential. When several harmonic springs are linearly and bidirectionally coupled to form a ring, it is found that counter-phase coupling can largely improve the performance while in-phase coupling worsens it. Extensive objective energy-based parameters have been measured in 12 Mudejar-Gothic churches in the south of Spain. Measurements took place in unoccupied churches according to the ISO-3382 standard. Monoaural objective measures in the 125-4000 Hz frequency range and in their spatial distributions were obtained. Acoustic parameters: clarity C80, definition D50, sound strength G and center time Ts have been deduced using impulse response analysis through a maximum length sequence measurement system in each church. These parameters spectrally averaged according to the most extended criteria in auditoria in order to consider acoustic quality were studied as a function of source-receiver distance. The experimental results were compared with predictions given by classical and other existing theoretical models proposed for concert halls and churches. An analytical semi-empirical model based on the measured values of the C80 parameter is proposed in this work for these spaces. The good agreement between predicted values and experimental data for definition, sound strength, and center time in the churches analyzed shows that the model can be used for design predictions and other purposes with reasonable accuracy. 相似文献

We have studied the polariton relaxation dynamics in a CdTe microcavity at low temperatures after resonant excitation into the upper polariton branch (UPB). Initially, we have set a negative exciton–cavity detuning, such that the energy difference between the two polariton branches coincides with that of an LO phonon. Our experimental results reveal a sublinear dependence of the integrated emission from the lower polariton branch (LPB) with excitation power. This evidences not only an inefficient LO phonon mediated relaxation from the UPB to the LPB but also a substantial inhibition of polariton relaxation along the LPB. After that, we have progressively reduced the negative detuning, approaching the exciton–cavity resonance. Under these conditions it is possible to observe a nonlinear emission arising from K0 LPB-states similar to that observed after nonresonant excitation. Marked oscillations are present in the time evolution traces, with a period that does not depend on excitation power or detuning. 相似文献

Achieving comprehensive information on thin film lattice dynamics so far has eluded well established spectroscopic techniques. We demonstrate here the novel application of grazing incidence inelastic x-ray scattering combined with ab initio calculations to determine the complete elastic stiffness tensor, the acoustic and low-energy optic phonon dispersion relations of thin wurtzite indium nitride films. Indium nitride is an especially relevant example, due to the technological interest for optoelectronic and solar cell applications in combination with other group III nitrides. 相似文献
